Yes, the Gospels are some of the most reliable documents from ancient times. The ONLY reason they are challenged is because they speak about God and religion.
@@JM-19-86 Reasonably we cannot radically change our worldview and accept the resurrection to be true based claims from a single group. Where are the external or hostile accounts confirming resurrection? To what extent did eyewitnesses directly contribute to the writing of the gospels? Were the eyewitnesses who were alive at the time of writing of the gospels actually fact checking what was written? Why do the gospels give such radically different accounts of significant details? Did Jesus go to Galilee after the resurrection or not?
Thank you IP! You were great help for me during the last year. I had a weak, dying faith, but God used your videos to give me the assurrence I needed. I finally began to read the bible again, pray and share my faith. Blessings to you and your family!
Myth didn't have the connotation of being untrue until the 19th century and coincidentally (?) the rise of atheism. Historically the word simply meant something that was communicated orally or passed from one person down to another. I suspect the word mouth is etymologically related to myth.
Cannot get enough of this, they deserve membership support , Christian Bible platforms that explain both Written and Scholars backing up Historical support for the Gospels among a variety of other subjects in there extensive library
Ironic, I just debated many Muslims and critics over the past week on the reliability of the bible. It truly is outstanding, we are blessed to live in a time where we have access to effective and sufficient proof that muzzles 99% of critics due to sheer truth.
Ask them where does the Quran claim to restore or correct the Torah and Gospel, instead of confirming them, which it states time and again. They cannot. Thus they do not get to claim bible corruption, since the Quran itself never states it.
@el_killorcure it might be true that the quran doesn't clearly states that the torah and the bible were corrupted, but we still know it because of contradictions. Here are 20 bible contradictions 1. @TerribleTerms About as stupid as calling scientific paradoxes "contradictions" because they seem to make no sense on a glance and devoid of context: 1. Is the Schrodinger cat dead or alive? It can't be both nor neither. 2. Are photons waves or particles? They can't be both. 3. Are electrons particles or undefined clouds of possibilities? They can't be both. I can go on and on. See how it works? Just like all the above have explanations, so does your list. You just choose to ignore them when convenient...
@TerribleTerms One example: when in the OT anyone "sees" God, it's to a point. Moses asked to fully view God, and was told it was not possible for he would die as a result: Exodus 33:20 (one can find multiple examples of men being terrified at and unable to witstand the presence of God after the Fall, due to our now sinful nature) That is what John means that no one has seen God until Jesus made Him (The Father) known through him (The Son). But to understand and even be aware of this, you need to do some actual reading (the Bible must be read in context and as a whole, not quotemined in isolation).
Lord Jesus only you can carry the burdens I face as a single parent. I feel so alone. Heavenly Father please provide me with the wisdom to make the right decisions for my children, and the courage to face each day with optimism. I really appreciate you and your research, I wish you nothing but the best. Your channels help young or new Christians defend their faith against those that would tear it down. Keep up the great work.
It's crazy because I just read in the Old Testament this morning. This is what I read Ezekiel 20:45-49 LSB [45] Now the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, [46] “Son of man, set your face toward Teman and speak, dripping out words, against the south and prophesy against the forest land of the Negev [47] and say to the forest of the Negev, ‘Hear the word of Yahweh: thus says Lord Yahweh, “Behold, I am about to kindle a fire in you, and it will consume every green tree in you, as well as every dry tree; the blazing flame will not be quenched, and the whole surface from south to north will be scorched by it. [48] And all flesh will see that I, Yahweh, have made it burn; it shall not be quenched.” ’ ” [49] Then I said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! They are saying of me, ‘Is he not just speaking parables?’ ” Because God aka Jesus (God in the flesh) talked like this in the Old Testament too.
I love your videos IP. It makes me like a little child wanting to learn more about Jesus to love Him and worship Him above all! Glory be to the Father, Son and Spirit now and forever! Amen!
IP your video on hell helped me accept Christ. It really showed me how much Jesus loves me. I will be attending a church soon for the first time in my life. I just want you to know the effects your videos have.

Hello, IP, thank you so much for this video, I also believe that the Gospels are really reliable. I love your videos. I was thinking about whether there is a method to give more authenticity to the Gospels if they are compared with other religious history texts. I mean, if using the same methods for other sacred books, can we then conclude that the texts are much more reliable if the others are less so?
Hey IP I have watched a lot of your videos and debates for almost a year now and I’m a huge fan you really helped me with my faith man thank you so much. 🙏 Could you make a video about if Isaiah 7:14 talks about the virgin birth prophecy or if it just means young woman thanks IP. ✊
Hows it going my friend? You have helped me alot in my journey to finding my faith, the time and effort you put into this channel and knowledge you have is absolutely amazing. I love this content. I was hoping maybe you or someone in the comments could help me understand this one question that keeps bugging me. If Heaven is paradise, how could I be forever happy if my child or spouse is in Hell because they didn't accept Jesus like I have?
If they indeed are damned, then in heaven you will be in perfect agreement and in perfect submission to God, and will be able to trust in his divine judgement, and rest assured knowing he was fair in his justice, being thankful he at least saved yourself, when he could have justly damned both you and your family.
Greetings IP! There's a church here in the Philippines named “Iglesia Ni Cristo”. They're contradicting the Gospels and saying that they're the real church. They also say that if you're not in their church, you will not be saved. I would love to see this debunking in the future! Thank you and God Bless!
I don't understand why these Reddit type pseudo-intellectuals keep showing up in the comments on every single one of your videos. You know the type, the "enlightened" attitude, the mocking behavior, the thematic name; it'd be worth arguing against if they said anything other than word salad. Weirdos man, anyways good video.
Another great series for you to do would be a deeper dive into the parallels with other good god-like figures: dionysius, Osiris, etc. Dennis R Macdonald send to be getting more and more play recently. Might be nice to have an expanded counter from your original shorter videos on the subject.
I believe people disagree with the gospels more because it is full of personal theologies!! Mathew Luke mark and John have their personal theology of Jesus. To disagree that Jesus existed or that there were no eye witnesses is silly because there is many upon many proof, Thus those who disagree with the authenticity of the gospels disagree because it is men doing personal theology of Jesus. Which is a question of faith in which many do not have!
An atheist watching this: but how do you know it’s true if it’s true? 😂 I want evidence that I’ll deny and refuse to look into because I’ve already made up my mind to hate God
@InspiringPhilosophy, Do you take online calls? I'm struggling with some conflicts in relation to my faith. I was raised as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, and after watching your videos, I don't know what to believe anymore. I've also heard some historians talking about Jehovah being a storm god originally, and it's very confusing!
Hey my guy, Godlogic and Sam Shumone(sp?) do a good job explaining things like that. They both have shows you can call into on YT. Both have specifically talked about JW too. :)
@@DylanConatser-y8i You could also look up 'TalkAboutDoubts' which is a Christian hotline for doubters. I don't think IP is one person behind it but other Christian apologists are.
@InspiringPhilosophy do you have anything relating to Marcion? I've been reading about Marcion priority theory and it feels to fall into the realm of conspiratorial of the early church fathers.
We believe everything else except for Jesus lol. Man is just wicked and evil and love darkness rather than light. Just call upon his name and watch him reveal himself to you. He is LORD
Do you see the square with 'cc' in it at the top of the video itself? If you click that it will put up subtitles you can read while you watch. It can be really helpful for me too. :) It is between the other square and the gear icon on the video screen when you pause the vid. On the top right.
My guy, yes they were. There is no proof whatsoever they hung out and wrote it together. Matthew went to India. Paul was going around Rome and Greece. Luke wrote down what the other people who were there said, like Mary Jesus's mother and Peter. Mark was doing his own thing. We know who wrote them. And they were written at different times in different places based on different perspectives. Also, if they all got together to write them they 1. Would not have each written their own version of the same book. No one does this. And 2. If they did the books would be identical in every way with no differences. Yet here we are.
@ pretty much every scholar believes mark was written first. Matthew and Luke used mark as source material. John was written later. I never said they hung out. There is very little evidence that they were even written by 4 single people. It’s much more likely they were anonymous and written by other people.
Hello inspiring philosophy, how are you? I had a question that has been disturbing me. It may seem a little silly to ask. But Biblically speaking how do we know that an afterlife does exist and is not just a story to bring comfort to our mortal lives?
Freemasonry is wrong. They think that Yahweh and Baal are the same being, when Yahweh proved in 1 Kings 18:16-44 that he is not the false god Baal. They blaspheme God's holy name by combining it with the false gods Baal and On. Holy means "separate/set apart." So when Jesus said, "Father, may your name be kept holy," he was saying, "Father, may your name be kept separate from other names." The Freemasons call their god Yahbalon/Jubalon, which is combining God's name with false god names. In 1 Kings 18:16-44, God proved that he is not the false god Baal through the prophet Elijah, so out of all the false gods to choose, Baal is the absolute worst one they could've picked. This is why you ALWAYS hear "balon/ballin" in all of the rap/hip-hop song. Even in songs of other genres. Doesn't matter if it's pop/country/spanish/rap, they all do it. It's even entrenched in some Christian songs (mainly Christian him hop songs) The password for the 1st degree is "Boaz." The password for the 2nd degree is "Jachin." The password for the 3rd degree is "Ma-Ha-Bone" and is the one most often used. The handshake for the 1st degree is a regular handshake with your thumb pressing on the knuckle of their index finger. The 2nd degree handshake is a regular handshake with your thumb pressing the knuckle of their middle finger. The 3rd degree handshake is called the "Lion's Paw" where you wrap your pinky and thumb around their hand and they do the same. The 3rd degree handshake also has five points of contact between you and the other person called the "Five Points of Fellowship" (which isn't their satanic pentagram) 1. Inside right foot. 2. Inside right knee. 3. Lion's Paw. 4. Left hand on their back. 5 Right cheek. The ritual for the 3rd degree is a mockry of baptism. In baptism, we die, are buried, and are raised with Christ. Their ritual is like a play where you play "Hiram Abiff" who supossedly helped Solomon build the first Temple. You are blind folded and play Hiram and are "slain," literally buried where they throw dirt on you with a shovel, and then someone playing as "Solomon" prays to Jubalon in Jubalon's name and you are "resurrected." Their god is a false God. Teach people the Trinity and pray for the lost.
If you ever find yourself questioning your existence or you want answers about what your purpose is in this life,The Q u r a n is the only book in the world which will give you the true answers to these questions.
My guy, the Quran give no answers to any questions. You aren't even allowed to ask questions about Allah in Islam. And I am not going to follow a prophet that taught it was ok to have s*x with captive married women, to sleep with little 9 year old girls who didn't even have puberty yet, and taught we are all slaves to Allah.

@cainblue448 In the first one, it was said that man and woman were created at the same time, and in the second verse, it was said that adam was created THAN Eve from the rib of adam. And look for other ones. They are contradictions, too.
IP “debunked” all of them. Bible probably has more than 100 contradictions on face value, plain in the text, but he would argue every single one can be resolved. But they are still contradictions, LOL.
I do not believe we should say Jesus used overstatement or hyperbole. It makes any of His sayings open to being ignored. You can take anything you don't like, call it a hyperbole and tone it down until it's exactly what you would have done anyway. And it's totally unnecessary everything He says makes sense without this idea.
The context will help you determine if its hyperbole or not. Hyperbole usually includes words like All None Everyone . If it's a universal or absolutist statement, that's usually a good indicator
You obviously don't understand Jesus use of hyperbole to get peoples attention of an issue like cutting off your hand if it keeps you from the kingdom of God.
@iamdigory For example ' no one comes to the father except through me ' If we take this as absolute and universal . That would mean those who haven't heard of jesus or physically can't follow him or even think of him . Like babies . Can not come to the father . It's a general rule but it doesn't deny exceptions

They are not reliable. While the gospels align in the broad strokes, the contractions show us that there are details that do not align. Not all of the contradictions can be reconciled. Moreover, we have good evidence that additions have been made to the gospels beyond the first century. The ending of Mark is one such example. The story of the adulterous woman appears to be another. Any four documents with that number of irreconcilable contradictions cannot be reasonably trusted to demostrate the supernatural and the ultimate truth of the universe. The claims being made require a higher standard of reliability than we have been given.
Too bad the supposed contradictions do align. In fact, IP showed they do here on this channel. It is wild the people who know the least are those most openly proclaiming falsehood as if it is true. You look foolish to everyone who actually did research on it. Stop listening to random people and look at the actual evidence from multiple perspectives. It is wild you are making that claim to someone who did prove they align on the same YT channel.
@1faithchick7 Absolutely wrong. There are some contractions for which IP's attempts at reconciliation are weak. Open your eyes. The Jairus' daughter contradiction is one that CANNOT be reconciled. The attempts to do so fall apart immediately. Many of your fellow Christians even admit this.
here's a refutation of your so called "additions in the bible": Ending of mark: The absence of the last 12 verses in Mark (Mark 16:9-20) is found in only two manuscripts, Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus, both dating from the 4th century. Whereas, the majority of other ancient manuscripts, such as Codex Alexandrinus, Codex Ephraemi Rescriptus, and numerous other Greek, Latin, and Syriac manuscripts from that period, include these verses. This indicates that Mark's Gospel originally included an ending beyond verse 8. In his work Against the Gnostics, Irenaeus quoted Mark 16:19, acknowledging that it was a part of the Gospel of Mark. It is important to note that Irenaeus lived between 120 and 205 AD, while the Vaticanus and Sinaiticus manuscripts were not written until the fourth century. Irenaeus states, “Also, towards the conclusion of his Gospel, Mark says: ‘So then, after the Lord Jesus had spoken to them, He was received up into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God;’ confirming what had been spoken by the prophet: ‘The Lord saith to my Lord, sit Thou on My right hand, until I make Thy foes Thy footstool.’” (Against Heresies, Ante-Nicene Fathers, vol. 1, p. 426). This reference indicates that Mark 16:19 which is within the last twelve verses of Mark, was actually part of the Mark's Gospel rather than being added later. In the case of Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus, the absence of certain verses may be due to the possibility that the copyists were working from damaged or fragmented source texts. Ancient manuscripts were often subjected to wear and tear, and over time, sections could become faded, torn, or missing entirely. In such cases, if a scribe was copying from a manuscript that was incomplete, they might unintentionally leave out certain verses or sections that were no longer visible or legible in the source material. Ancient manuscripts were fragile, and the edges, where the ending would appear, were especially susceptible to wear and damage. Since these manuscripts were written on vellum, which could deteriorate over time, it’s plausible that these verses were either lost or damaged in certain parts, especially if they appeared at the end of a scroll. Early Christian scribes, especially in the 3rd and 4th centuries, were still developing standardized techniques for copying and preserving texts. Bruce M. Metzger, a prominent scholar in biblical studies, notes in The Text of the New Testament: Its Transmission, Corruption, and Restoration that Codex Sinaiticus and Codex Vaticanus share similar vocabulary, grammatical structures, and linguistic styles. He points out that these grammatical and linguistic similarities indicates that both of the codices were transcribed by the same parent source. Therefore, if an early parent manuscript from which these codices were copied contained omissions due to damage or deterioration, then these could easily have been passed down as blank space in both Sinaiticus and Vaticanus. At the end of Codex Vaticanus, there is an unusually large gap following the end of a column. This is notable, as leaving such a large blank space was uncommon in the ancient world, where scribes typically minimized gaps. Scholars like Bruce Metzger and Kurt Aland have suggested that the scribe may have left this space intentionally to indicate an awareness of a missing text or a damaged section in the source manuscript. This method of leaving gaps to mark textual irregularities was often used by ancient scribes. Story of adulterous woman: In the early years of Christianity, many teachings and events of Jesus were passed down through oral tradition rather than being immediately written down. The story of the adulterous woman may have been part of the oral teachings circulating among early Christians for several years but not formally included in the initial Gospel writings. As the oral tradition developed and communities grew, the need for written records became more pressing, leading to the eventual documentation of various events of Jesus that gained prominence. The earliest Gospel writers had limited space and resources. They often focused on the most critical aspects of Jesus' life and teachings. The Gospel of John, for example, focuses specific theological themes, and the writers may have prioritized other narratives and teachings that aligned closely with their intended message. As time progressed, the story of the adulterous woman may have been recognized as an important addition. Church Fathers, such as Eusebius of Caesarea (4th century), mention that the story was known and circulated widely, even though it was not included in manuscripts. Eusebius referred to it as a well-known story about Jesus, acknowledging its oral familiarity. He even noted that Papias, an early Christian writer from the 2nd century, knew stories of Jesus which circulated through oral traditions though not included in the Gospels. This addition wasn’t an attempt to alter or corrupt the Bible but rather to preserve a story that already existed in oral traditions and became prominent. At the time it was written into some later manuscripts, it was already widely respected and valued in the early church. Therefore, it was eventually included in the Gospel, as the story was later recognised as an important source for reflecting Jesus’ teachings. However, this does not imply that it was added anonymously with an intention to fabricate or corrupt the Gospel. The story of the adulterous woman had long existed in the form of oral traditions that had been passed down since the time of Jesus.
@@sudeepwarriorofficial There is a group of experts that say Irenaeus’ reference might reflect the textual tradition of his time, which could have already incorporated an added ending. It does not necessarily prove that the longer ending was part of the original Gospel of Mark. Why? Because other early church fathers, such as Eusebius and Jerome (yes, later than Irenaeus), explicitly note that the longer ending was absent in many manuscripts known to them. Jerome even states that the abrupt ending (16:8) was the dominant reading in older copies. Additionally, Mark 16:9-20 differs in style and vocabulary from the rest of Mark’s Gospel, suggesting a different author. The transition from 16:8 to 16:9 is abrupt, with no narrative continuity. For instance, Mary Magdalene is reintroduced in 16:9 as though she hasn’t already been mentioned in 16:1. That verse also repeats the day and time. So while Irenaeus’ reference to the longer ending is significant, it does not outweigh the broader manuscript tradition and textual evidence. The consensus of experts is that the Gospel of Mark originally ended at 16:8 and that the longer ending was a later addition to harmonize Mark with other resurrection accounts in the Gospels.
Hey IP, I don't know whether you will read my comment, but I think I have become an agnostic and my anxiety has destroyed my brain. First of all, the two genealogies of Jesus contradict and every attempt to explain them is mental gymnastics (considering also that the word "gambros" is the greek word for son in law and thus completely erasing the possibility of a levirate marriage in the text, since the word gambros is not used). Moreover, the old testament God is a completely different deity from the God of the new testament: Yahweh is a deity that murders canaaanites for fun, whereas the God of the gospel is the exact opposite. Also, there is zero evidence for the plagues of egypt. Moreover, the resurrection accounts clearly contradict, following the unironically infallible principle that every complex answer must be dismissed as mental gymnastics. Also, evolution is completely incompatible with genesis, no church father would have believed it, not to mention the fact that the bible talks about the existance of giants, of which there is zero evidence. Also, the presupposition that science can explain everything and that there is no supernatural seems to be true, and science has clearly demonstrated that the human soul is just a bunch of electrical signals in our skulls. Even the youtube comments under your videos that get 0 likes easily argue this. If there is no soul, then there is no mind, therefore there are no thoughts, no sensations, no emotions, no subjective experiences in our heads. Maybe "we" really are mindless piles of cells, maybe there is no good or evil. I am not trolling, I am genuinely being destroyed by anxiety. Then there is also my personal experience: God has never interacted with me in my whole life, and even if He did, I would be unable to notice Him.
First take a deep breath, and calm down. Each of the points you raise have been debated by scholars on both sides for years. You can spend years studying the arguments pro and con on each issue you raised, don't jump to conclusions.
@@Abcdefg_h62dzz When you have a bunch of questions, it's useful to rank-order them by priority. Which are deal-breakers, which are not? Many of the issues you raised are simply not a deal-breaker for Christianity. Take CS Lewis, he was a Christian while believing that much of the Old Testament was myth, and that there were errors in the Gospel accounts. So what? Even the most reliable historians get things wrong here and there. We can still trust the gist of what they say.
No, but the Holy Spirit is the author of the Gospels. Per John 14:26 & 16:13. Even if you reject the supernatural, IP provided most of the evidence historical and textual critics use to conclude high probability of reliability. I'm not sure what more you want man, would you like to substantiate any specific claim?

What else is in this series?

@@Kevin-gt9yq it's a whole series on Gospel reliability. it's worth a watch, for sure!
Yes, the Gospels are some of the most reliable documents from ancient times. The ONLY reason they are challenged is because they speak about God and religion.
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.
@@seabea1838 , Christians have that. Skeptics just don't like the evidence.
@@seabea1838 No, they don't - they need good evidence, which we have.
The "ONLY" reason? That's simply not true at all.

That's a great distinction to make, between atheists and anti-theists.
We're reading history, not mythology 🙌❤️ (And just a random reminder : Christ is Risen!)
Myth didn't have the connotation of being untrue until the 19th century and coincidentally (?) the rise of atheism. Historically the word simply meant something that was communicated orally or passed from one person down to another. I suspect the word mouth is etymologically related to myth.
@@sigurdholbarki8268 Well thank you for the dose of random knowledge, I appreciate it and in that case, it's not a myth in modern understanding❤️

Here are 20 bible contradictions

@TerribleTerms About as stupid as calling scientific paradoxes "contradictions" because they seem to make no sense on a glance and devoid of context:
Moses asked to fully view God, and was told it was not possible for he would die as a result: Exodus 33:20 (one can find multiple examples of men being terrified at and unable to witstand the presence of God after the Fall, due to our now sinful nature)
That is what John means that no one has seen God until Jesus made Him (The Father) known through him (The Son).
It's crazy because I just read in the Old Testament this morning. This is what I read
Ezekiel 20:45-49 LSB
[45] Now the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, [46] “Son of man, set your face toward Teman and speak, dripping out words, against the south and prophesy against the forest land of the Negev [47] and say to the forest of the Negev, ‘Hear the word of Yahweh: thus says Lord Yahweh, “Behold, I am about to kindle a fire in you, and it will consume every green tree in you, as well as every dry tree; the blazing flame will not be quenched, and the whole surface from south to north will be scorched by it. [48] And all flesh will see that I, Yahweh, have made it burn; it shall not be quenched.” ’ ” [49] Then I said, “Ah Lord Yahweh! They are saying of me, ‘Is he not just speaking parables?’ ”
Because God aka Jesus (God in the flesh) talked like this in the Old Testament too.

If they indeed are damned, then in heaven you will be in perfect agreement and in perfect submission to God, and will be able to trust in his divine judgement, and rest assured knowing he was fair in his justice, being thankful he at least saved yourself, when he could have justly damned both you and your family.

There is much agreement because they are not independent.
It's even entrenched in some Christian songs (mainly Christian him hop songs)
The password for the 1st degree is "Boaz." The password for the 2nd degree is "Jachin." The password for the 3rd degree is "Ma-Ha-Bone" and is the one most often used.
You are blind folded and play Hiram and are "slain," literally buried where they throw dirt on you with a shovel, and then someone playing as "Solomon" prays to Jubalon in Jubalon's name and you are "resurrected."
Their god is a false God.
Teach people the Trinity and pray for the lost.

---- Additionally, a perfect instruction manual would not violate the nonsensical argument of "free will" because people could still choose to follow the instructions or not follow as they saw fit.

1. 1 Kings 4:26 vs 2 Chronicles 9:25
2. Genesis 7:17 vs. Genesis 8:3-4
3. Matthew 28:1 vs. Mark 16:1
4. 2 Samuel 24:1 vs.1 Chronicles 21:1
5. 1 John 4:8 vs. Isaiah 45:7
6. Matthew 16:28 vs. Matthew 24:36
7. Matthew 1:16 vs. Luke 3:23
8. Matthew 27:5 vs. Acts 1:18
9. Matthew 27:46 vs. Luke 23:46
10. Ephesians 2:8-9 vs. James 2:24
How is the bible reliable?
What is the contradiction in your first example?
I don’t see anything wrong.
Where in those verses is ‘same time’ implied?
It was " male and female he created them. "
But have you looked at the other verses yet?
I do not believe we should say Jesus used overstatement or hyperbole. It makes any of His sayings open to being ignored. You can take anything you don't like, call it a hyperbole and tone it down until it's exactly what you would have done anyway.
And it's totally unnecessary everything He says makes sense without this idea.
The context will help you determine if its hyperbole or not.
Hyperbole usually includes words like
All None Everyone .
If it's a universal or absolutist statement, that's usually a good indicator
You obviously don't understand Jesus use of hyperbole to get peoples attention of an issue like cutting off your hand if it keeps you from the kingdom of God.
Okay, then should all men pluck out their eyes?
But he literally did. Do you think we should cut off our hands?
@iamdigory
For example ' no one comes to the father except through me '
If we take this as absolute and universal .
That would mean those who haven't heard of jesus or physically can't follow him or even think of him . Like babies .
Can not come to the father .
It's a general rule but it doesn't deny exceptions

Hey Michael Jones, can you do a video that was published I think a year ago or so but I do remember the title is called Christianity is called the biggest lie ever told Christianity and I would like you to do a response video and see your thoughts and in this video it talks about morality interpretations of the Bible historical accuracy and basically also the morality of God I would believe murdering people is evil, but yet got himself did things in the Bible oh, most modern day Americans will not see as more and then this video and talked about how we Christian just use a divine command theory by saying god create the universe Therefore he decides right along, but in this video of the person stating that argues that we don’t even have proof that our God exist of the divine command theory does not apply to us so I would like you to respond to this video and give you a personal thoughts
Many of your fellow Christians even admit this.
here's a refutation of your so called "additions in the bible":
Ending of mark:
The absence of the last 12 verses in Mark (Mark 16:9-20) is found in only two manuscripts, Codex Vaticanus and Codex Sinaiticus, both dating from the 4th century.
Story of adulterous woman:
In the early years of Christianity, many teachings and events of Jesus were passed down through oral tradition rather than being immediately written down.
You sound like someone who hasn't watched his videos
@trashboat4228 I did, and I find them suspicious
First take a deep breath, and calm down. Each of the points you raise have been debated by scholars on both sides for years. You can spend years studying the arguments pro and con on each issue you raised, don't jump to conclusions.
@JM-19-86 then, tell me some of the answers
@@Abcdefg_h62dzz When you have a bunch of questions, it's useful to rank-order them by priority. Which are deal-breakers, which are not? Many of the issues you raised are simply not a deal-breaker for Christianity. Take CS Lewis, he was a Christian while believing that much of the Old Testament was myth, and that there were errors in the Gospel accounts. So what? Even the most reliable historians get things wrong here and there. We can still trust the gist of what they say.
Reliability of the gospels. LOL. So humans are infallible now. Hilarious!
Who ever said anything about infalliability? We're talking about reliability.
Who claimed that humans are infallible?
@@thatoneguy9857 The one who has the gospels are reliable as a title of a video.
@@jakegreen5081 If we're going by *just* the title alone, I don't know how you could reach to such a conclusion.
