@@forestofsecrets7273 except the part of if his wife is not in the town. There is a possibility that Kayo thinks his wife is indeed dead, just not by what since... We know Widows at the thought of finding out her husband may be dead... A widow could think the worst :(
I would have never expected that Kayo's story would be as tragic as Riliane and Allen's.

@ehud kotegaro Yes, but I'm saying Mei, Miku and Rin didn't deserve to die so horribly for what Kai did. Kayo is a tragic and sympathetic villain, yes, but remember that she's still a _villain_ at this point in her arc. Kai had it coming, absolutely, but what did Mei, Miku or Rin/Riliane do to deserve it, besides being his family? Not to mention, IIRC, Miku was _pregnant_ at the time. Did her unborn child commit some atrocity that warranted Kayo killing it?

late to the party i know. but every story in this universe is a tragedy. every character in the list are competing for the gold medal of "god i fucking hate my life" before dying in a ditch and being buried in an unmarked grave.
but that's what makes this story beautiful. it's love, anger, revenge, sadness, despair, happiness, camaraderie and dread, intertwining and mixing in a story that only feels.... human.
like Germaine Avadonia for example. child of royalty adopted by an enemy knight during a massacre, almost sold to a witch huntress, lived happy with adoptive dad and brother, brother entered the service of the queen, killed dad, after months of alcoholism germaine picked his sword up for revenge on the queen, stormed through the castle, found her brother instead, tried to reason him out of dying, he replied "queen's my real sister. don't want me to die to die because i'm your brother, even though i killed dad? exactly my point." and witnessed her brother's execution firsthand knowing full well the queen she swore to kill will be declared innocent after this.

In the beginning when gakuga was questioning kayos crimes x I liked it when you had given lines to kayo and the miroku family showing us that kayo killed them and that they were her victims . This is a terrible nitpick but during kokutans first lines x it would be cool if you gave him a duet with kayo due to him believing himself to be her son and her believing so . Their relationship was so sad

I always find myself coming back to this video aaaa. I absolutely love 3.43 when the chorus was sung by multiple people "the weathered head at onigashima" as if it's the locals gossiping / discussing about the tragedy and the song ended with kayo herself which adds to the tragedy

This song still hurts me so bad, when I think about this I can't help to think that what happened to Kayo was pretty unfair, at least when the fire happened.

Ima b real with yall I have been into vocaloid for 10 years and this is the first I’ve heard of this song. I always knew about the tailor of enbizaka. There’s so many components to this series and you never know what ones are canon or not. Other than this and the tailor are there anymore telling kayos story?
