Fun fact:in Japan's culture the oni mask is worn by people in festivals or by wives who are REALLY unsatisfied with how their husband, possibly from stuff like neglect or broken promises.
I did a little research. Meiko isn’t wearing an oni mask, she’s wearing a hannya mask. It’s a type of “noh” mask, meaning it is worn in traditional japanese theaters. the people who wear them are representing female demons called onyrou who have been overcome with resentment and anger.

I've finally found the whole meaning!! So Meiko and Kaito were childhood friends, in their innocence they promised to wed, not a good idea. But when they grew up, kaito fell in love with miku. Meiko got enraged and probably stalked them like in the pvs. Miku thought that kaito was just playing with her and meiko was his betrothed(these songs are set in ancient times). So she cursed kaito(MAGIC!!) That they would die together, so meiko killed kaito, miku and herself(probably because of the curse). In all pvs, kaito does die and in twilight homicide song meiko kills 'the other me', signalling miku and in guren veritable pandemonium, miku mentions going to hell together. So I guess meiko burned miku and kaito and miku in her eternal madness accepted her fate. My guess is that, Kaito was always innocent, A childhood promise is an innocent thing children do that almost never gets fulfilled, then again in ancient times girls were clingy. If only meiko didn't cling onto a promise about dead love(they weren't married), and miku actually talked instead of 'cursing', Kaito would've gotten to live with miku and meiko could've moved on.

But then she began seeing another woman with him (Miko not miku) she was broken. She left him, but then she suddenly felt something wrong had happened with kaito. She never saw her face (or thought of her as miku) but it was she herself all the time, not being able to comprehend why she got such happiness and started developing another personality named miko. Miku Hatsune Meiko reminds me of Nyo!Japan because of how her hair is and her kimono. Except she has bigger breasts.
Meiko does look like Nyo Japan the only reason why I think of Nyo America is because Meiko committed the sin of gluttony in Evillous chronicles.
Oh! I agree with you on that. Is there a parody of that and if it isn't, we need one!
I don't think so. But it would be amazing if someone made hetalia as the sinners. I would definitely subscribe the person and like the video.
This song's a masterpiece. Just perfect.
Have some moments where the songs became so good, but she still underrated, that's sad. Because nobody knows how to use her voice.
I WATCH THIS MV WHEN IM 14 YEARS OLD, NOW IM 23, just know the meaning of the song, since im not english speaker
3:12 you have to turn the volume up way high, I mean higher than what your computer can go and there is something she says, I forget what it is but my friend showed it to me and it was the coolest thing ever! CAUTION: if you do that please be careful because after the blood splatters the song continues and it is really loud so try not to listen any more than 3:10 - 3:12
if you figure out what she says and the meaning for it can you please tell me? this was the first vocaloid song I ever heard and I remember the blood splatter part and I've been searching for this song ever since and now that I found it I need to know what it means!
o_o its says : "I Want To Get Out Of Here ..." >.< Its sounds so freaky though ..... I Love It xD
awesome! i'll have to re-listen to it sometime
Sarah Driscoll Actually, what she is REALLY saying is "Koroshite Ageru" (Roughly meaning "I'll kill you")
That super cool! Thank you so much!!,
This song is so under-appreciated/ under-rated, its so good
She looks like Mei from Another
Tru

Ikr
Mei ko
She's also looked like Zenko from The Morose Mononokean/ Fukigen Na Mononokean.
Bro they even pinkie promised u cant break a pinkie promise
The illustrations in this is so beautiful. Just as beautiful as the song.
i am BEGGING for someone to put this song in spotify
Escuchaba esta canción cuando iba en primero de secundaria, sigue sonando igual de increíble
While she looks like Fem!Japan.
She also look like Lelouch xD
I thought I was the only one who thought that while watching it
Hell yeah, fem! Japan is adorable! (This yandere reminds me of Belarus tho..)
I assume that the guy is Kaito. Because KaiMei. Now deal with it.
And almost yandere vocaloid song there's always kaito as the sempai...
+Finn Jake Cuz Kaito is such easy prey, that's why.
KaiMei is my fav vocaloid ship
+Thug Servants Mine too.
+Chara YES YES YES
I don't find this scary actually catchy to me. Is that weird??

words cannot explain how much I love this song. it’s the song ever. it’s so ❤❤❤
This was the first Meiko song I listened to. I was like 10 or something. I'm almost 13 now. I know that's not a long time but it feels like it is (to me)
i already knew about most of the other vocaloids, and only found out about meiko today. she has a great voice!
im kinda new to vocaloid, meiko def my fave so far
Oh boy, if you're new you're so lucky: you're going to discover so many great songs!
I just hope you haven't fallen for Miku.
I can't stand her voice, it's a robot trying to sound like a 6 years old child
Meiko sounds amazing here!! I'm a Rin&Len fangirl but when i listened to this song and "This is our justice!" by her i was drawn to it. She needs more love!!

HEY EVERYONE..... DID YOU HEAR SOMETHING IN 3:09 to 3:12 ???? I hear "Koroshitte Ageru" in very low voice...... It's so creepy
I hear "愛してあげる", but I think yours fits better.
What does that mean??It really creeps me out
LunaWonderland "Koroshiteageru" is "I will kill you" and "Aishiteageru" is "I will love you".
MysteriousYou2br That is sooooo damn creepy (TT_TT)
LunaWonderland Mhm~
Can't stop listening to this song!
Sooooooo.....
Meiko lookin like 2P!Fem!Japan, with brown hair instead...
Yeah, I hear something at 3:10... You have to listen closely...
This is a beautiful song! Meiko has one of the beautiful voices I've heard from a Vocaloid. She is extremely under appreciated by the fan base.
8 years already wow
Nostalgia trip. It still gives me chills
This is such a beautiful song, granted it's dark, but the composition is beautiful, and Meiko is used rather nicely in this. It's not always easy to make her sound good. LOVE it~ The art work is gorgeous too!
Lovely :D
Meiko's voice is so pretty!
I wonder who the other woman was, the one that replaced me in the video. On Project Diva, Its Miku, but I think it would be a different person on here.
You can interpret it as being anyone you like because she was never shown.
Woah, I have never heard Meiko sound so smooth and beautiful before!
This song in a nutshell: Meiko kills(?) Kaito over a breakup in a catchy japanese-oriental dark song
man, I really wasn't expecting this plot twist in the new Tailor of Enbizaka novel!
かごめ means Circle You , I think
Yup. It means Circle you . Just hear a song called Kagome Kagome from Miku And Luka
It’s also a Japanese children’s game
Thanks for such a great subbed video! You've always been good at choosing cool songs.
