Originally from Nashville, Tennessee, we got married June 2013 and quickly caught the travel bug! We started traveling full-time January 10, 2016. While daily vlogging was not the original plan, we were having way too many cool experiences not to share every single day! Now travel vlogging is our full-time gig and we feel like we have the greatest job in the world! We are incredibly thankful to do something we love every day. :)

There is something about Karas voice that is really soothing I can see why she was preschool teacher. Her energy is amazing and of course Nate is great as well but I love Kara

Travel in itself is tough. Planes, train, automobiles, Bikes, walking, etc. and waiting for people can be challenging. You guys should very proud of all you have developed. People do not know how hard it is to put your body thru all you do. Keep knocking it out of the park! Stay safe in this COVD time.

Had a host cancel on our months old reservations the day we arrived in London and we had to scramble to find a hotel. Same trip, another host left us standing on the side of the road waiting on them in scotland. They never showed up as promised and never answered any messages after. We ended up just walking, dragging our bags over cobbled streets 😂, to a hotel. Then I had to fight with the owner to get my money back. Always hotels now. Never again.

You always make the best of it! And it's great to watch you guy process it. Even the rain hiking Machu Picchu you just kept on going with a smile! I think watching you guys when stuff happens makes this Vlog all the more realistic and we can all learn something from you guys.
We are all human so it’s natural for us to show our emotions to the viewers. The journey you both have embarked has been amazing and taught other travelers to see you through these videos. I totally appreciate what you both have done by journaling your journey via videos. Love all your videos especially the Norway trip as I visited Norway last year but places you both traveled to are unknown to me so I added on my bucket list. I found their channel while I was a bit tipsy (read almost drunk) and stayed because they make really great videos that are easy and relaxing to watch! Kara is the "almost a mom" calm that we all need and Nate is making these amazing edits and it's still a really great channel to tune into while having a drink or two
So glad it worked out! You were NOT being silly to be emotional about it. Having a bit of privacy and sanctuary is SO IMPORTANT. In every place you go. You were tired, in a new place, had things fall through already... I would've been OUT of there and emotional about it. Thank you for always showing us these moments. I think for me personally it helps kind of build an understanding and hopefully a resilience, as I have an interesting background and rely STRONGLY on my creature comforts for my sanity and groundedness. I hope to keep expanding and you guys always show expansion!

the best videos channels are those that have a balance of listening to their viewers but also. doing genuinely what they want to do at the end of the day. with that being said y'all' channel is my favorite
I know im late and actually watching this video out of order from where I'm catching up on your play list, BUT, I love your videos and feel bad that you guys seem to feel like you can't complain. Travel is stressful and sometimes things don't go the way you picture not to mention you guys are human and have emotions and moods. Sometimes things might not look that bad to others but you feel it more strongly... Anyway, sorry for people being negative but its so true that you'll never be able to please everyone. We had the same experience as well traveling recently in Japan. Stayed at many AirBnB over the years, but this Tokyo apartment was advertised as clean and safe - oh not so. Had black mold growing all over the bathroom, stepping outside we were hounded by pimps and prostitutes, and late at night the drunken brawls and arguments were just awful to sleep thru. We had to leave 2 days early and find a hotel in Tokyo which was costly. Luckily AirBnB resolution dept stepped in an refunded us the nights we did not stay.

Airbnb is awesome 99% of the time but we’ve had similar to this too. You two are great, just keep smiling, everyday is an adventure! ☺️

People are crazy. I'm a late comer obviously, but I've been binge watching from the beginning. People complain because you are too "luxury", that you should be about traveling on a budget, etc. You never promised to be one thing or the other. You never promised to travel on "a dollar a day". Your goal was to travel to 100 countries. If you became successful at it over time and were able to do more things - that you want to do - then that is completely within your right. I do love the Asian videos (strangely for the food - which I do not like), but we are all along on YOUR ride. Great fun watching you two and your guests when they pop in. Keep doing it your way, you are obviously doing something right!!!
After watching your vlogs, I would definitely book with Kuoda traveling to Bolivia (especially) and Peru! Good to know they are also expanding to other countries.

This video is a year old & I’m just now finding it, but I just wanted to say you had every right to feel upset over the Airbnb. That’s dishonesty in order to make a buck off of people, not ok, also goes against the guidelines of Airbnb. You all made the best of it which is the best thing to do, but your feelings were totally justified.

Yeah, you cant really blame the lady for not being there if you were late (? not 100% sure if thats what happened). We once took an overnight bus in Spain, supposed to check into the airbnb early in the morning- around 9 am. Nobody showed up, and we ended up sleeping in a hostel for most of the day. Ended up checking in around 4pm. It sucked.
Just keep doing it your way. I love them all just shows how travel can be and how being flexible is the way to be. Right not the end of the world.

Poor travel experiences happen. We were just in Europe on an 18 day tour of Munich, Vienna, Bratislava, Krakow, and Prague. In Vienna, my husband was run down by a speeding bicycle. He got a compound fracture of his left arm (both bones!). He had to have emergency surgery to repair the fracture and spend six days in the hospital. So, the rest of the trip got canceled. He's fine now and we are back in the U.S. Luckily I spoke German, so maneuvering around the Austrian healthcare system was OK. Also we had trip insurance. Now if that wasn't enough while we were in the hospital I got the phone call that my father had died. So this was a doomed trip. We have been on dozens of trips and this one is no doubt the worst. So don't sweat the air bnb. I loved watching your Peruvian adventures. I did all that in 2015 and it was fun to relive those moments vicariously through you.

Interesting, I got physically pushed aside on a sidewalk in Budapest by a tall man , I’m 71 yo and 5’2”. The man just pushed me aside to get through a group of six tourists walking side by side . I first thought he was going to rob me and t turned out he could hardly wait to get to the bus stop and just stand there and WAIT.
