Helloooo Wild Ones! Not sure how I'm so far behind that I'm still editing March haha, I've got a couple of local over-nighters to edit next and then a 2 night Wild adventure (the first warm weather, waterfally trip of the year 😍) Hope you guys are good! Much Love 💚 Claire 🌿🐻
Hey Claire. That looked beautiful. Definitely a skinny dip type of lake. 😳. Looks beautiful but fresh. What do you do about mozzies? I’d be bitten to pieces. That sunset looks gorgeous. Even the moon gave off some beautiful light. I saw your Northern light video. I was so jealous. Words do not describe how that must of felt. Keep up the fantastic videos. 🏕🏕
From someone with 40 years of experience, that’s one of the most pure overnighters I’ve seen. Beautiful, simple, wonderfully documented. Thank you for sharing!
The drone footage over the peninsula gave incredible perspective to your pitch site. What a gorgeous lake. The geese had a lot to say. 😂 No extra morning snooze for Claire. Glad you had a cozy cowboy camp. Take care and as always, thank you! 😊🌲🏕🌲
Many years ago, when I was a wee lad, my parents and I would go to Lake Norfork in north Arkansas not far from where I grew up. We’d fish, picnic, and in warm weather, spend the night sleeping on a blanket on the beach. I miss those days. Thank you, Claire, our wildbeare, for taking us along on your adventures.
I find so much relatability to that moment when you think you see your destination on the horizon, just for it to be another stretch of land - especially when you're looking for water and have run out!
What a stunning stealth pitch! It is one of my favorites that you’ve done. The location, the wildlife, the starry skies were perfection. Thanks for allowing us to tag along.
@@WildBeare That lake is a very distinctive. You should look up the research info on those wild goats you spotted. They have a unique and ancient pedigree.
Nothing makes me feel in sync with the world than sleeping outdoors under the stars...i swear i can feel the earth turning as i gaze up at the stars...love the vid Claire...Thank you.
RUclips brought me to your channel and I’m so grateful it did! I’m not able to go very far on my own due to physical and mental health/cognitive issues but i absolutely adore nature and the idea of being at one with the earth so to be able to see all this through your eyes and with your ongoing themes of inspiration and resilience gives me such joy ❤ thank you Claire xx
Nothing better than sleeping under the stars without a tent. I love doing it in winter; a cosy sleeping bag & hardcore bivvy bag with the cold wind on my face when I poke my head out!
This looks like Gloyw Lyn, Gleaming Lake, just North of Rhinog Fawr. It's not easy to get to either. I love the connection you bring with nature and how life thrives in a wild place once the sun has gone down. Bivvying is the best way to spend the night here, a tent causes you to close nature off from yourself. The Rhinog's are a favourite area of mine, there is something for everyone there, and for the intrepid explorer too
The landscape in UK is so different to Switzerland. Beautifully different. Thanks for sharing your experience with us. I wasn’t in UK yet. I hope one day I can visit it. - That “Alien” was a cool intermezzo 😄
This looked like quite the enjoyable lil' adventure Claire! You were absolutely surrounded by nature's beauty 😍 And sleeping out under the stars makes it just that much better 👍 Completely immersed and connected with all that surrounds you... definitely hard to beat that! I hope that you have a wonderful week my dear friend :) As always.... Stay wild 🐻 -John
What an incredible adventure. I am very much in awe. I would love to be brave enough to do this. The peace and solitude looks amazing. Thank you for sharing. ❤
Yes!!! New video!! I found you last weekend and I have been binging ... like unhealthy binging your videos this weekend. Hands down my favorite channel right now!
My son (2 years old) and I absolutely love your videos! He is such an outdoorsy kid so these videos give me hope that one day we’ll be out camping wild like you 🥰😋
So little is needed to be happy! You are always part of Nature, perfectly blending in...becoming Nature, Claire. Thanks for sharing with us! Cheers Michael
There's a wonderful song written by Liz Weston and performed by the great Martyn Wyndham Read, called 'Come Walk With Me', look it up. One chorus line says ' come walk with me and learn to love the land'. It says it all, really. And it's people like our beloved Claire that help us housebound armchair adventurers keep connected. Thanks Clair. Know you're loved, keep having your adventures and taking us with you. ❤
Pretty cool that you can camp there in March. Where I live, I'd have to go above timberline to camp in a similar-looking area, which would be buried under about 8 feet of snow at that time of year.
You are something else, one of a kind. Your videos are so enjoyable to watch, the most beautiful angles, the brilliant drone shots gave an unbelievable perspective of the wilderness you wandered into so spontaneously. You are one with nature. Thank you for sharing such incredible experiences many (including me) haven’t the opportunity, energy or bravery to attempt.
Claire thank you for sharing the stunning sunset you had on this beautiful trip. I enjoyed hearing the geese talking while you were eating your breakfast. Where was this peninsula located. The drone above the lake was so beautiful. Thank you for sharing this wonderful trip. I look forward to seeing you again out and about. Take care and stay safe.
Thankyou for sharing your videos, in a world that is disappointing and depressing on a daily basis, your appreciation of a more simple beautiful life is one thing that gives me hope . Thank you
Watching the Stars "Because you can", theres a valuable lesson in there for all of us, and that is, Do something you enjoy for no other reason than "Because you can".
I've been to that location many times over the years, and the last time I camped there was probably 2005. On the other side there's a larger lake and an easier walk and a car park. I've photographed that lake from all angles over the years.
Hi Claire, another lovely, peaceful camp, beautiful scenery to. Thank you for sharing all you do, all these lovely locations, which i would never be able to walk, last year on a holiday to Wales, we did get the train up to Snowdon, it was amazing, sadly though, when reached the summit it was misty/ cloudy, but all the same magical. All the beautiful stars to, makes you feel alive. Take care, and look forward to your next camps. xx
Beautiful views, and weather on the Rhinogs 😊. I spent a freezing wet night , camping on that same lyn , in a leaky tent, 30 years ago for my D of E gold. I love the area, and have been back many times since. Cheers for sharing the mountains.
I've decided in the summer this year I'm going to do similar stuff like this, just get away from all the noise of life. Gotta be the most serenity channel on RUclips this. Thank you for your videos. X
No matter how many times I say to myself ,,(when a new new clip is posted by you Claire.) I'll watch that later. I come right back and watch there and then. Cant seem to pass you by, Beautiful scenery both fauna and flora..😉.❤️from🇦🇺.
Here I was stewing in my thoughts, within a few moments of watching your lovely video I’m in a place of calm & happiness ❤ thanks for filming your adventures.
Thanks. This reminds me there is this lake peninsula (sometimes it's an island) with trees, bushes and small beaches, only 15 km from home. I'll go bivouac there with my dog some day, soon.
Brilliant, just brilliant...! Real back-to-basics stuff, but you had just what you needed for a fantastic overnighter...! 😊😉 Thanks for taking us along...! Take care... 😉👍
Claire, I love watching your vids, whether a two nighter or a quick like this one. So entertaining. I'm been back out in my local woods here too for a weekend and absolutely loved it and missed being under the trees! xx
Amazing 🎉 funny I was there last week, the peace up there is weird, its like you're in another world without people, but still reasonably close to all the tourists, wonderful sunsets over the 2 days I was there, I wished I could live in that environment ' soul touching the universe ' 😊
looked like a bagworm kinda, great to see you! you are getting more and more prepared each time you go out. is that some kind of heather growing all over the ground ?

You found a great nook there on the peninsula....

Aw thanks! Happy trails :)
You had me in tears laughing when you talked about the geese getting together. “Oh rejected” LOL very beautiful area ❤😂
The mystery object at 3:17 is probably a Saturnia pavonia cocoon (Emperor moth)...
Yes definitely 👍🏻
Thank you :D I've not see one before, how nice
So, no need to nuke the place from orbit?
@@WildBeare I've only ever seen the caterpillars and cocoons, never the moths (probably they are nocturnal). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturnia_pavonia
Emperor moth cool, I thought maybe a prey mantis cocoon

@@WildBeare Try living next door to them. I think they might possibly make the worst noise any animal can make. You'd learn to hate them after a while

sounds like you had pretty cool parents, we camped, tents and all that, I wasn't allowed to play with the fire at all...
🤔 sounds like its time for you to go back and visit, relive those moments for a weekend...
The best memories 💚thanks for sharing :)

I love that you said thank you to your camping place. Surely the Earth appreciates our gratitude. Thanks for your precious videos. 🧡
This type of videos is perfect for someone like me that loves nature, yet is to lazy to hike.
What i love about this channel is that everyone is slightly different and the enthusiasm in them for the adventure.
The fact you never make a fire makes me inspired to do this, even tho I’d totally make a nice fire and bury it after.
What a lovely sunset, and oh that magnificent starry sky! As usual, Claire, I thoroughly enjoyed the video. ✌🏽
Wow what a spot to camp. That sky was something else 🤯
