They did on mine. Where on the engine can I tell which engine it is. The VIN comes up 6.0. The valve cover and air intake hose say differently. ( 5.3 liter )
3/8 inch brass barb from home depot, some teflon tape, and 3/8 inch hose. You can drill and then self-tap the barb on the side of the intake. If you dont use the PCv ive heard and seen crankcase issues cause a rough idle and lower power.
Didn't know they put 5.3s in a 3/4 ton

That truck obviously had a junk yard engine swap at one time. Ecm calibration is likely still a 6.0
How can it be a 6.0 when the intake air hose and valve cover are the 5.3 liter.
