@dmpressurewashing Are the running lights working on your truck?

Do the trailer lights work with a different truck hooked to them? I have a 2005 truck that will not run the running lights on the trailer, but the running lights work on the truck. When I hook that trailer to a different 2012 truck, the lights work on the trailer. The problem is, therefore, with the 2005 truck. I am going to splice into the tail light wire and hook them directory to the trailer running lights on the plug. I'll do a video on it.

@@roscoesrepairs yes works on my truck. Just not on any of my trailers so I know it’s something with my truck. This truck has had many problems from the first couple months buying it straight from dealership

@@dmpressurewashing Splice into the running light wire by removing one of the tail lights. Run that wire to the trailer wire, but disconnect the wire that runs back to the truck wiring harness so it doesn't back feed the trailer wiring harness back to the truck.

That is the simple fix. It probably is the module not letting the running lights signal through to the trailer.

What if the previous person did not get the fluid level correct?

@user-dl9et5es5f the two bigger bolts: one goes to the 12 volt battery positive. The other goes to the windings of the starter motor. Are you buying the 100 amp solenoid? If you are replacing it with a 30 amp that is why it is failing. Also make sure the solenoid has a good ground. You can also try grounding the smaller solenoid post that is labeled "C". The other smaller post is labeled "S", and gets the positive signal from the switch. Have you tried bypassing the solenoid?

@@bryceotterbach7943 Are you sure you removed all the bolts? It should wiggle once all the bolts are out.

@bryceotterbach7943 Autozone will read your check engine light for free. You could have left one of the many plugs unplugged to an oil, temperature, or other sensor unplugged.

My oil pressure sensor seems to be not getting power. Also my car battery keeps dying. Have to jump it each time. Any way this oil pressure sensor is causing my battery to be dead? Something is draining that power and resetting my dashboard info. Like MPG each time. Very weird. Any ideas?

@bryceotterbach7943 That housing has passages for oil and antifreeze. The antifreeze flows through it to cool the oil. So, yes, you need to drain the antifreeze so it doesn't get in the oil ports. Hope that helps.

@nunyabusiness4651 Ford did not make that spark plug. That was NGK that didn't weld the plug electrode to the threads.

@@roscoesrepairs This a problem with ALL for 5.4 three valve engines. Not the NGK plug. It will do this with ANY brand plug.

@greebuh Are you saying the engine itself has such high compression that it blows the plug apart? The threads are still in the cylinder head. They are still holding the outside of the spark plug.

@roscoesrepairs Holy crap, you have numerouse people telling you about the flaw. You really need to go look it up if you don't believe anybody telling you it's Ford's fault. They made the threads way too tight of a tolerance because their last try on the two valve 5.4 was blowing spark plugs out. There is so much much info on this including service bulletins. Go learn something.

@UserRjt I know what you mean. It is frustrating. And then your tools break or your grease gun gets empty, and you have to refill it.

I ordered a socket/easy out that is the size of the part that is still in the head. Should be here in two days.

These did not have anti seize on them. I always put anti seize on the thread and dielectric grease on the plug wire before installing them. It's a coil in this case.

@@JordonPatrickMears11211988 220,000 miles on the engine. I don't know when the plugs were changed. I just had a strange misfire. Never set off a check engine code.

@@roscoesrepairs that baby just looks like it's been in there far too long. I'd add a lack of anti-sieze and over torqued as well. Oh well, fun times. It's getting ya views and engagement so who cares, right? Haha
