    Not sure what I enjoyed most- the tearing down of the dam, the rapid water level drop behind the it, or the turbulence in the plunge pool as it drained. Epic work!

    You are making that too easy for them to rebuild. you need to get rid of more of their structure from both sides and more of that mud.

    Honest question...what is the strategy for standing down stream as it gets deeper and removing the dam with small strokes as opposed to standing upstream and removing the dam with strokes that run across the structure of the dam? You are successful with your current method. I am just truly curious.

      There should be trappers hired by the local government to relocate them to places where they will not damage roads or crops, somewhere far from civilization.
