My tabaxi ranger is fascinated by gadgets. She became a proper adventurer when she heard about someone who was offering a firearm as a prize for killing a monster. She pulled it off and ended up taking the Gunner feat. So while she still loves nature, whenever she goes into town she's always looking for odd mechanical knickknacks. She got one of those pendulum toys and stared at it for hours.
Oh that’s cool way to trigger a connection. Question why did your tabaxi go ranger and not artificer? Seems like that kind of an interest would couple really well
@@TheSinisterheroes Ranger with a gun just seemed cool and in keeping with how modern hunters work. Also, the idea was that the ranger got the gun from a priest of Gond, the god of invention in the Forgotten Realms. They priest convinced her that technology and nature didn't have to oppose each other. So the ranger and her priest friend are basically trying to spread the use of firearms and SGDs. It's a weird combo, but they both mean well.

Tabaxi are cool! We had a tabaxi ancients paladin in our princes of the apocalypse campaign. The feline agility comes in handy for everyone between getting into or out of combat.
That’s a character I’d never think to create. Especially considering that they went ancients. Which by the way is wildly strong.
The Tabaxi Lords sounds like a middle ground between a Tabaxi and Leonin

They kind of are there jaguar like and buff and nasty. There like the edgy tabaxi
I played a tabaxi old one warlock, whose curiosity led him into trouble once too many times. It was a one shot so I did not take advantage of the story progression potential that tabaxi offer.
That’s still a cool concept especially considering the great old ones kind of just engulf whom ever is around. I can definitely see a tabaxi finding a secret entrance and then a cosmic entity just spots it locks eyes, then the tabaxi spends a period of time in mind shattering madness, then what emerges is a great old one warlock. I love warlocks so much.

There are some really amazing artist out there making great D&D related stuff. It’s really impressive the talent out there.
I'm sure when I played DnD years ago I read it was supposed to be pronounced Tabashi.I know it's spelt Tabaxi, but the great EGG used to write the books back then and pretty sure it was in the MM that it said how to pronounce it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I am mis pronouncing it. I am pretty sure I do it often especially with unique words that come up often in D&D. I will say that sometimes people start to say something one way and even though it’s incorrect it becomes the standard eventually. I am pretty sure that’s what’s happening now with the Tabaxi. At least from my experience, I have not heard anyone pronounce it Tabashi.
It in all honesty sounds better to me as tabashi, rather than tabaxi.

That extra movement they can snag would be very advantageous in keeping the distance
