      That was my thought too, she held it sorta kinda together with the "we're going to do research and get b roll" (though that means they're already lame influencers of some sort), but once she threw out the "how would YOU fly to St. Lucia?" like holy good god. Also, "we wanted to see if it had the right vibe", cued a massive eye roll

      the medieval serfs were considered some of the most exploited and oppressed people in history. They were forced to turn over 25% of everything they produced to their lord. With income taxes, property taxes, gas taxes, sales taxes, unemployment tax all types of taxes put together, the total tax bill of the average Canadian family in 2022 was 45.3% of all their income. just about double what the medieval serfs had to pay.
      I cannot find a website that calculates all taxes combined as we have here in Canada for us, but I think it's a safe bet it is at least 40 or more, likely roughly about the same as Canadians are paying. I have read that Americans do pay about 2 to 3% less on average than Canadians of the same income, and Ronald Reagan pointed out back in 1964 that 37% of every dollar earned was the tax man's share. You know that has gone up since. so even being very generous, we're still looking at about 42%
      Another great way to put it, you would have to give your average Canadian and American Family a substantial tax cut just to get them down to the point where they would be as exploited and oppressed as the medieval serfs...

      I grew up poor. Poor, poor. So I was a democrat. Right? That’s what I was taught, intentionally or otherwise, by the media. At 26 I heard this guy on AM radio, yes I’m dating myself, talking about free speech and right to bear arms. I was totally into it. Then the commercial break came and it said, “ We’ll be right back with Rush Limbaugh.” I was crushed! I was defying my parents basic tenets by my thoughts! 😂😂😂😂
      I don’t consider myself a republican. But I suppose even in my older years, as I realize, and recall, the warnings my parents gave me, I’m still fairly conservative. 😂😂😂😂

      In 20 years no one has ever asked me what disabled people need. How about starting with being able to get food stamps with SSDI.
      We only matter when they want inspiration porn or as a a talking points weapon for getting their way with city services.

    Oh, and yes, that's absolutely a thing in my life; most of the items that I want while shopping are on the top shelves at stores, so I bring a grabber; a very handy device for reaching items..... As long as they're not very heavy or breakable 😖
    So yeah, I could have grabbed the Wheelchair Barbie off of the top shelf if it hadn't been directly handed to me when picking up my preorder, but I still need to carefully select a non-Karen when asking for assistance from someone who can reach that jar of my favorite Alfredo sauce from the top shelf 🙄

      98 percent of all accidents involving 18-wheelers are caused by drivers of cars and/or pickups (which, by the way, are not trucks in any way, shape, or form) who are too impatient to follow the traffic rules and do something stupid.

Therefore, his immune system was hit harder, especially when he came into contact with germy preschoolers. His immune system is now adjusting. I suppose Vitamin C etc. will help bolster his immunity. • @RexFuturi
      @RexFuturi 11 месяцев назад

      @lizlee6290 It's interesting that you think the only socialization comes from school. Our homeschooled children participate in several co-ops and activities. We probably spend more time "outside" than the average family. A person who has no idea what they're talking about should remain silent.
      Our youngest has limited exposure because he is a non-verbal autistic child, not because of homeschooling. He's 4, you dumb-ss. He has no less schooling than most 4 year-olds. The other kids in his school have been sick just as much.
      Yes, he has less exposure to the many different colds and other bugs that go around. Because he is 4. The statistics show that ALL children have the same issue their first years of school because schools are simply nexus of disease. Unfortunately, though the rate of illness drops, the problem is not solved via immunity. Students will never gain immunity to regular colds and viruses and will continue to get them year after year.

    Public Service Announcement:
    Forget the whole “one trip” mentality. If you can, always leave your dominant hand empty. (I know, you have to use both hands for large objects) You should always be ready and prepared to defend yourself in a sticky situation. Also, trying to carry too much crap, unevenly distributed between arms is a good way to hurt yourself, especially at night.
    Stay frosty, my friends❤
