Sounds really good for a V6! I have a black 87.
That mug saunds good for being a v6 !
Okay, first of all...this Grand Prix looks good. I like the white wall tires on it. Second....that exhaust sounds really awesome! I never knew that 3.8 V6 could sound good with dual exhaust. Great car!
I’ve never heard a V6 sound that good that sounds great 🔥
Sounds really good 👍
very nice sounding and beautiful car. I have an 84 grand prix brougham. it has a 305 with dual exhaust. found it earlier this year in a barn out in wisconsin, sat for 15 years.
Flowmaster 80 series* Very nice car and I like the sound of the 3.8.
This the best set up for the 231 v6 sounds good
That's badass! I got a 79 LeMans Gbody ima go with this exhaust on.
Kyle H I have a 81 LeMans. Nice to see another owner around somewhere lol
Sound good. I got flowmasters on my Monte Carlo v6 dual exhaust
Nice old school blue plate. I have a blue '82 v8 brougham grand prix
Looks like you really like your duals.
Nice!
hey man nice car . I own a 1986 Pontiac Grand Prix LE I doing a C-91 350 police interceptor v8 engine swap.
My Favorite 2 Door G Body 🤤🚗
Sounds nice nd healthy
Do you still have the car
Not a bad starter car! I personally would put a modern lq4 5.3 liter out of a wreck, at 285 HP stock upgrades are very easy & with a little work you would have an emissions legal and a very fun car to Rip up the roads with !
or you could put a later 3.8 in it and turbo it, have more power than the lq4, and better mileage
Sounds good. What tail pipe did you use for thr left side or was it custom made ? Thanks
Im looking to get more sound out of mine I have a 1980 oldsmobile cutlass supreme brougham 231 3.8 will I get better sound out of it if I use dual exhaust and glasspack
Glass packs might sound a little weird since it's a v6 I'd def recommend flowmasters for more a v8 tone
what is the rear gear ratio on that car?
Most V6s came with a 2.41 or a 2.73
how much are these worth in good shape? I cant find listed values anywhere
On eBay I've seen these G-body cars go anywhere from 6-10k in good shape. A bit more if it's been semi or fully restored
+LocDawgd alrighty cool thanks.. I found once locally pretty cheap and it's in decent shape
+LocDawgd damn, really? I got mine with a few problems for 500. Has a console shifter, t-tops, everything, didn't think they went for that much.
All G Bodies are appreciating fast.... especially Buicks. But the grand prix is way way less common, so it demands some money when in good shape. the one I found I didn't end up with and was like 4K I think in overall okay shape and a v6 auto
Is this a dual outlet flowmaster
Yeah, single inlet and dual outlet
That's nice I'm doing that to my 1983 Oldsmobile regencey 98 and I like the car
My v6 don't pull off like that 😭😭
Sound like a dam v8
Will sound 100x better if u hollow the cat. I have same motor and muffler with hollow cat and sounds exactly like a v8
2 1/4 inch inlet outlet dual chamber with hollow cat makes 4.3 sound mean so would probably work too
