Welcome back to another video! This trip report covers a flight I took with Spirit back in March from Las Vegas (LAS) to Newark (EWR). So, face masks were still required and flying was a little more affordable. I decided to upgrade to the Big Front Seat at the last moment so I would be a bit more comfortable.

I live in Las Vegas and I am one of the few who actually detests the fact that Clark County renamed it from Maccarran to Reid. While historically, Maccarran had very little ties to Nevada, let alone Las Vegas, Harry Reid was a disgraceful sleazebag of a US Senator. I digress.
Anyway, Maccarran, as I will always call it, is one of my most favorite airports in the world. As a local, it is unbelievably easy to navigate when I'm picking up friends and relatives. I can't say enough about the efficiency of the airport's layout. Every sign is well placed and clear. While the airport refuses to be retro-fitted to accommodate the A380 from international flights, it is approved for Boeing's magnificent 777x. I love plane-spotting and I hope to one day see the King of the Skies (777x).

Thanks, the seatbelts were the average length of I remember correctly. The crew should be able to provide you with extensions if needed.
One aspect I like about Harry Reid International Airport is the fact there are slot machines in the airport. I felt like I was in an amusement center when I went to that airport for a connecting flight. Happy belated Thanksgiving by the way.

Spirit is fine as long as you know what you are getting. Basic transportation. People who complain are the people that don’t read their rules.
