Man what a very exciting time this was in the mcu. I still say first avenger was a really great movie in general. Lotta fun and great casting all around
Come on Hugo, come back to us....No offense to Ross Marquand, of course. He knocked it out of the park.
I miss him too but I don't know if he'll ever return :((. He said that the reason he left was because he doesn't like being a part of large block busters that take up months of his life and have him stationed overseas away from his family in Australia + he prefers being in Australian films in order to help the Australian film business grow. Considering this film was made in the UK and the US, I doubt it was a very good experience for him.
My only possible hope that he'd ever return would be if they'd film the movie in Australia. Considering how much Marvel Studios now films in Australia for their movies, this is something actually very likely to happen. However it would still leave the fact that he doesn't really go for blockbuster roles and prefers to focus his attention on the Australian film industry that have Australian casts and characters rather than the MCU which casts Aussies but mainly gets them to put on accents.
Still, it's not impossible! There's always a chance, even if it's slim :')

Would have love it if they went with his signature dust of death making the Red Skull even more scary and that his Red Skull is an actual red skull mask after all it reflects the WWII era

What the hell for? Apart from the nose and creases in the prosthetic the CG 'enchancements' were completely unnecessary and unnoticeable. Instead of just admitting they had no real work to do they invented work.
Or maybe they just didnt want Red Skull to have a gap?
He also played Agent Smith.
Even Joker doesn’t like Red Skull. Think about it.
Magneto hates Red Skull due to the fact Magneto was a concentration camp survivor and a Jew and the Nazis hated the Jews.
Kingpin hates Red Skull because Kingpin is patriotic despite being a crime lord he does have morals and will not tolerate Nazis.
Dr Doom even hates Red Skull because Dr Doom is Romanian descent and the Nazis dislike Romanians.
So many Villains hate Red Skull due to the fact of his Nazi origins except for Baron Wolfgang Strucker and Crossbones and his daughter.
Every Marvel villain except for Crossbones and his daughter don’t like Red Skull…Magento is the number one villains who has a sheer hatred of Red Skull since he was a holocaust survivor in WWII as a child and it’s what triggered his mutant powers.

I think they nailed the design. He looks deformed, but not in a Two-Face kind of way where it looks like a fresh wound.

Mister Weaving wont be coming back because The Studio money men wouldnt pay him what they promised. All these talented people worked so hard to create something amazing that all of us had been waiting for a LONG time and the bean-counters naturally` ruined that relationship.` Mr Marquand did a very fine job but it should have been Hugo.Very disappointing.
