Behind the scenes Matrix Cloning agent Smith. - Развлечения
All this work just for a couple of shots of multiple Smiths in the background... amazing dedication and craftsmanship.
Factz guess they did want them to look more authentic then they did in part two
And money wasted
This comment deserves more likes. Not only that, this scene deserves the same attention
They won a lot of money so I guess it worthed every single effort.
Too bad the scenes/whole movie sucked
Imagine real hugo standing there with the dummies and the director be like "where the hell is he" .
Yeah lol 🤣
hahahaha +1
🤣
Directors*
Haha there should be an outtake parody of The Real Slim Shady...
"Will the real Agent Smith please stand up? please stand up?"
There's a warehouse full of grumpy Smiths somewhere.
The warehouse you seek is the Warner Brothers Archive Warehouse where they keep the Agent Smith Doubles
I had the same thought exactly
Some might be in collectors houses. People like to buy weird stuff like that for their collections.
@@fether835 they must be freed
Just imagine working in that warehouse and a badly charred costume starts crawling towards you and you hear another one of the exact same costumes screaming the lyrics of It’s Been So Long by The Living Tombstone. I’d sacrifice myself on accident
Imagine all those extras who can rightfully claim: "I played Agent Smith in The Matrix 3"
Wow all these years I thought that shot was CGI now i found out they were real agent Smith's... freaking awesome. I love the matrix
You so simple and shortminded
Ikr, amazing work they did
Well the scene where he was fighting all of them in the 2nd film was, obviously lol
The matrix is telling you someone..we are all part of their evil matrix..people you need to accend out of their matrix!!!🤫😳😷😎
3 years after u man ,,, same
This is how real movies are done with so much art and effort.
Hugo Weaving is a very underated Actor!
He made us Hate him in The Matrix and made us Respect him in LOTR Trilogy!
Say what you want about the Transformers movies but he was amazing as Megatron and was one of the best things about the movie...
An actor that has been in two of the biggest blockbusters of a generation is underrated?
And as V he managed to act the lead role of a movie without showing his face.
All you need for a matrix movie is: 1 Keanu, 1 Morpheus, 1 Trinity and 182 Hugo Weavings..
These two films are my best of all =))
watching this is better than watching matrix 4 :D
I thought that all those smith was made by computer!!!
+++
And I thought that Smith's clones were Hugo Weaving digitally added 80 times in a single scene.
No such technology in 90s
@@dcsf1 It would've look worse for sure.
This makes me appreciate this masterpiece even more!
These were the times where real movies were made.
I thought it was generated by cgi
Yup lol.
@techminds Well, whatever that kid was talking, he deleted it and I didn't get a chance to know what crappy argument he was having with you.
That's is why i like old movies, those efforts and creative way they put into it, instead of just pressing a few button on the computer.
ใช่เลย
"Pressing a few button on the computer!
They make good story with that kind of effort.
You dont know nothing about computers and CGI
there's no passion anymore, today it's all done on the computer, even the rain
All the difference bw LOTR and The Hobbbit
"Mr. Anderson", that's the best voice acting I heard in the trilogy.
If only the same amount of effort was put into the 4th film
I thought this was CGI, HOLY SHT
Yeah me too
me too man
silly YOU
I though the Smiths were CGI
I now give this movie a new rating.
You gotta love how they use to invest in to movies back in the day
I always thought they were all CGI characters just like the fight scene with a hundred agents smiths in the second movie
same
they were cgi in the in the courtyard fight against the smith clones, especially neo. Just hard to spot. But especially neo in some extreme moves like the spin with the iron bar or the slowmotion kick before that scene that's where you could see pretty well they used cgi and probably not just for neo. Neo really looked like a animated video game character there with smoother skin and clothes etc. pretty obvious.
Though I'm not the biggest fan of CGI, it still takes a lot of work/time for the artists. I've sat in a few sessions just to see how it's done and it's not easy.
No doubt that their hard work and creativity made THE MATRIX one of the best science fiction movie ever made.
it's a cult classic
Holy Cow! This is a zillion times better than the crappy CGI. Kudos to the people involved in cloning agent Smith. What a great guy Hugo Weaving is.
That is insane! That they did it all manually instead of CGI!
I hope someone accidentally finds the warehouse full of these one day
"We have warehouses full of those things"
- GLaDOS
seriously, this fucking insane hard work worth it. despite all criticism, matrix was overall a undeniable great movie trilogy
dfo 99 Better than LOTR?
Hardwork pays off & show itself...
We didn't know they did so much for those few shots. But everybody liked the MATRIX....
Mate, respect level x100 for the amount of hours and work dedicated into this, we watch it for 2.5 hours and complain about all the mistakes, goofs and poor ending, these guys endure countless hours, hundreds of people in departments working together just to bring together a scene. Hats off to you all...
Who’s here in 2021 ?!
Let's be honest, you're here because it was in your recommendations
bruh
Dedication at it's finest holy moly
Thats the main different beetween those movies and new ones....
The hard work paid off, those scenes were epic
The slow head turns in the finish product have me goosebumps
And here I was thinking they simply hired a handful of people that looked similar to him and then did camera magic to duplicate him on screen. Holy hell being buried alive in plaster mold is some dedication to the craft. Well done Hugo
I'm still wondering how this movie is so advanced this is almost 17 yr old movie from 1999 and 2003 . #awesome
MAHMOUD ZORG I'm 20
somewhere in some hollywood wharehouse there's just a shitload of hugo weavings
Universal Studios Warner Brothers Archive Warehouse
If I was Hugo, I would've played a prank on them and hid amongst the many agent Smith's. Imagine the film crew trying to look for him.
I still think Hugo Weaving was a great casting decision. He just has a natural scowl and menacing eyebrows, sorta like Jack Nicholson. He also was required to do a lot of his stunts, which is practically unheard of in massive action movies like these.
And his sexy menacing voice
unforgettable American accent
The actor they chose for Resurrections is not even close to be on his league. They had to put some flashbacks mid scene to show some similarity.
I can't believe it was not all a CGI
Mr. ANDERSON!!!
?
...was not in this clip.
I love when these classic movies choose not to use CGI in stuff. Like jurrasic park too
Holy shit it thought they just added faces on some extras
Imagine if that technology existed back then lol
@@Terminated_Account waaat? It didn’t!?
So, somewhere in a warehouse are a bunch of Agent Smiths. Imagine walking in there by accident.
Universal Studios Warner Brothers Archive Warehouse
crazy I thought that was all done with computer graphics
Such a cool villian played the such a great actor.
I had no idea they used dummies and silicon masks, I thought it was all digital and editing magic.
I bet Hugo has a few of these at his homes
I would like one of those too 😅👍🏼
Just in case he need to fake his own death lol.
holy shit they were real physical object, i thought It was computerized shit
Real handmade Effects better then the CGI Flood today.
Cgi never as good just a cheap way to a lesser product.
I THOUGHT THIS WAS CGI!!!!²
Me too, absolutely nuts
MR ANDERSON WE MISS YOU.
That's how masterpiece is made
This is incredible! It takes a lot of patience to sit there and wait for the mixture to harden. Very cool! Well done everyone!
Sure the many Smiths are amazing, but the real story is the rain rig that caused a completely controllable indoor deluge take after take after take. I'm pretty sure thats an untold story of secret special effects work.
Its essentialy a big fire suppression rig suspended by a crane.
They use them all the time for rainy scenes, nature isnt very cooperative so they make em pretty big for outdoor scenes.
Ho is the hell that 500 that can dislike this hard artistic work?
They thought was real the story. The frustration was big. D=
601 BASTARDS)))
Wow! I thought it was Computer Generated. This was a lot of talented work.
I just love the whole Matrix team's dedication on how they worked on both the traditional and digital craft. And also Hugo's professionalism. They really did a lot of effort to make this film forever a masterpiece.
Huge props to Hugo peing patient enough to get those molds done.
Practical effects still kick ass, just look at Black Panther, that stuff looked shit. Then look at the Batman movies from my man Christopher Nolan.
how could they make a matrix without smith , ironic !
Exactly. No Smith no morphius idk why who these ppl are so I could t watch it
Y’all are just angry that Smith is even hotter.
MY TYPS IS AGENT SMITH
Wow! The extra Smiths were not the CG? I didn't know that~ lol
Oh me too
I FEEL THE SMELL OF 2003
make huge amount of work and it on screen just few second. incredible
Almost 20 years later, and just now, I know how that was made. Fantastic! Congrats!
WOW! Always thought they were all CGI. Incredible job!
OMG, the amount of efforts, time and money they spent to make those great movies is un imaginable. Can't even comprehend the efforts Hugo had to sit still for longer hours just to make his face molds, that's beyond me. Respect for all of them, cast, directors, producers, and anyone participated in those great movies.
Back then everything was natural and organic, even the movies were built out most part by humans hand. Old school last forever!!!
Ok BOOMER
Remember when teens used to dress like characters from The Matrix around 2000-2002?
I still do
@@adamknowles9726 that was the style :)
The amount of hardwork and dedication put on these scenes are more than the entirety of Resurrections.
I am amazed by the amount of work that goes into a few moments of film.
imagine being an actor and seeing 50 clones of you standing around lol
This series made me a huge fan of Hugo Weaving
One of the most notable film scenes on earth.
I cannot comprehend Hugo weavings real accent hahaha. When I see him all I here is.....
MR ANDERSON
This gives me a whole new appreciation for movies like The Matrix trilogy. We go to the movies and see the finished product not realizing all the hard work that went into making them.
Fair play to Hugo, that looks very claustrophobic.
Shit yeah
Sooo claustrophobic.. especially the fact that they duct taped his body too
Where's Joe Biden?
You just know a person is a great actor when giving interviews they look COMPLETELY like a different person.
This is a lot of dedication just to make the scene actually look good, you don't tend to see this much dedication in movies nowadays, it's why The Matrix is one of my favourite movies of all time
when ı saw this scene ı thought all of them was made by computer
holly shit
I bet Hugo has atleast one of those dummys at his home to this day
This movie keep blowing my mind after all this years
That explains the clone theory.
without CGI! awesome!
I'll be honest, Matrix 4 left me disappointed.
Matrix 4 seems like a parody
Common sense obviously.
Everything in the past 6 years is either a reboot, remake, remasters, cash grabs.
No fucking creativity
Awful movie
@@darodism I really hate it when companies just decided to reboot or remake something just for the sake of it. Let it be video games, movies, shows, etc. I don't mind remasters since they usually just enhance the quality of the original. (Not counting remasters such as the gta trilogy that is such an atrocious remaster)
Honestly, I give it a 4/10. Keanu’s acting wasn’t the best, but he wants to have sex with me, so-
will the real agent smith please stand up ...
I think I always just assumed it was all CG
Amazing !
I never imagined the works they did.
Just imagine having so many clones of You in the background!! 😂
Oh dear.
An entire room full of Hugo Weavings?
Sounds like the premise for a horror movie.
"Night of the Living Hugo Weavings"
imagine a scene where someone turns into hugo weaving
@@ShadeATV And not like the matrix digital conversion type. More like a horror movie the Thing shapeshifting kind of transformation.
Night of the Day of the Dawn of the Son of the Bride of the Return of the Revenge of the Terror of the Attack of the [REDACTED], infected, cloned, converted, assimilated, Hugo Weavings
resident evil x (they skipped 9 and went straight to 10, calling it X to sound cooler)
Were they hoping stupid people would be tricked into seeing it if the title sounded "cooler"?@@ShadeATV
Does this mean that someone has an army of Agent Smiths in their basement?
what if there is a warehouse, you never know
there is?...
that should be me!
Smith in my opinion is the real ONE the ONE who was born inside the matrix and raise by it. He called the Oracle "mom". He is the software who really revolutionize he sistem. We really miss you Hugo.
Pretty much all the programs are born in it thought.
Without cgi hats off
I absolutely love that most of us are all awake and see right through all the world's Bullshit. Keep fighting back everyone, we will win!
Wtf are you talking about
I know what you are talking about and I agree.
Yes we will !!!! Trump forever !!!!! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
@@db5094 use common sense and do some research. Whatever u do, stop watching fake news!
@@stormteam3004 I'm an educated person. I'm smart enough to be able to read the hundreds of medical reports on vaccines to know they are real. What evidence of conspiracy do you have?
I thought they were CGI
Me toooo
I thought a lot of Smiths were computer graphics
all those years i thought it was CGI, very suprised.....maybe CGI wasnt as good back then as it is today, that it would have looked fake.
CGI is a joke today, way to overused.
Hugo Weaver holds the record for having the most rubber face cast in Hollywood and probably the world
WOW That's impressive!
I thought there were computer-animated!
Nowadays that would be all green screen with cgi smiths added in the back.
Wow I would have thought foresure that was cgi
