The only thing stopping me from getting this kit is losing A/C and P/S which I refuse to lose. Once I'm tired of my JRSC setup I'll probably move onto the ProCharger kit since I can keep those components. But as always, John I love your work! And thanks for emailing me back when I have questions and especially for porting my s-tube. You probably remember me now :D
Hope to have you work on my S2K someday. Keep up the great videos. They make you want a build. You guys seem like a reputable company. Gonna check out your stuff for sale! Thanks. Keep working hard.
I have a 98 B18C type R motor and with a gsr crank pulley and 110mm SC pulley I made 366hp/226tq stock longblock on 93 octane fuel. only used ARP studs in motor.
Great power! I'm piecing together everything for my Kraftwerks build. I have a GSR that will be running the 110mm pulley. This is very reassuring as far as the numbers I was hoping for.
Very nice. Been looking into the possibility of doing a b16b swap for my eg hatch. And if I saved enough, I'd love to go with the Kraftwerks s/c. At least I know the range of hp and tq will be. Thing would haul around a track with that linear tq curve
Great video and clean install. Anybody interested in this kit will appreciate it. Unfortunately, it's just too expensive for what kind of numbers it puts down. Sure everybody has a preference, and this may be more reliable boost, but in the end, it just doesn't do it for me. $2500+ can get you a pretty darn good turbo kit if you know what you're doing, and get close to 400whp if not more. Reliability lies in the tune. Great video though guys
You're absolutely right, for the average street/strip guy this isn't as practical of a kit. This is geared towards guys who do road course stuff and are looking for a great power band. $2500 is a bargain compared to making this kind of power NA in most applications.
i can see your point def.........my kw kit is pushing 402 on a 15 si full kit, and he's gonna end up paying what i paid., for half the whp....no bueno!!!!!!
LHTPerformance can you guys find parts for a whipple style supercharger for a b16? its the jackson racing supercharger (JRSC) i need the EVERYTHING i already have the blower and intake part, i mainly need the brackets and pulleys

I knew the numbers looked inflated for a supercharged 4 cylinder. Guys look at the Dyno chart, it is displaying in STD smoothing 5, not SAE. There is a reason why the Cobalt SS and mini cooper switched from Super to Turbocharger. Gas spins the impeller a lot faster than an engine belt
To give the heads up, there's about 7whp difference between STD and SAE on this dyno. The Baro sensor doesn't work very well so we use std as it's more consistent. Remember a Dyno is a tuning tool, not a bench mark.
@@Needsoles oh yeah okay koo so what about the c38? So much loss of power for spinning everything. I love the instant boost but superchargers will always be less efficient compared to turbos and way less parts and easy of installation in my opinion. But super clean build and uniqueness.
I think you guys are all failing to realize the fact that he's boosting a completely stock B16B CTR engine with a 10:8.1 C/R. Its a known fact that these engine are known to easily blow without swapping parts from the other B series engines. for example like the GSR's crankshaft, rods, & pistons to lower the C/R. There are other ways of lowering the C/R obviously but this is just one example. ps. the pistons aren't exactly meant to handle extra boost and can melt on a track at 10 psi +

Should definitely do a video like this with a s2000 like a more in depth video of the kraftwerks Kit

how does this supercharger compare to the jrsc unit?
Does it look possible to fit a full size radiator in an ek chassis with a b series?
did u guys think it would clear a crx chassis? it looks very close by the left motor mount.
Its possible male 260 horsepower on b16 with the supercharger?
Because for me over 300hp Is useless.
I also have a b16b i wonder how much it will cost me for this job
no a/c or hidraulic? compatible?
How much did the whole kit cost
