When you remove RT performance, and focus strictly on rasterization, the 7900XT is quite a bit faster overall. The 4070ti Super only displays sizeable wins once RT is introduced, which is to be expected with 3rd generation RT cores, and AMD on 2nd Gen Ray Accelerators.
Absolutely shocked me. It literally destroys the 4070ti in a lot of games. Imagine when it's overclocked properly. And as long as you get a good playing experience with ray tracing, then the FPS counter really doesn't matter. In cyberpunk with upscalers at quality+frame generation enabled, if the 7900xt is getting 100fps, but the 4070ti super is getting 130, who cares. That doesn't bother me one bit.
@@stangamer1151 no there isn't at all. With a controller I can't tell a difference. The only difference you might feel is in competitive play. But who the hell uses frame gen in competitive games. Games like cyberpunk, Alan wake and other single player games , there is no sufficient input lag that will negatively impact your gameplay.
@@RX7800XTBenchmarks FG is viable only when you have, at least, 60 fps "base" framerate. This means with RT it is much easier for Nvidia GPUs to provide 60+ fps. Plus, if you use upscaling, then it's artifacts translate and intensify via FG. Since FSR creates more artifacts (then DLSS), after applying FG they become even more obvious. So you are not only getting, relatively speaking, 30% more frames (which means better fluidity), but also lower input lag and better image quality. This is quite a big difference.
@@stangamer1151 there is not sufficient input lag to where the playing experience would be classified as bad. Frame generation enabled on a mid 40/50 FPS base is perfectly fine in single player games. There are alternatives to using fsr upscaling in 99% of games, so that's a poor argument.
as i see on Amazon UK cheapest 4070ti super are 939 pounds and cheapest 7900xt are 799 pounds and cheapest 7900xtx are 1020 so basically by price 4070ti super are competitor to 7900xtx which would wipe the floors with 4070ti super
@jennymelo2098 Better raster performance, 4GBs more VRAM, wider memory bus, much better overclocking headroom, all while remaining $50 less than the 4070ti super. I'm honestly not sure where your logic lies? Is DLSS, RT and FG that important to you?
You should provide the result charts with and without RT, simply because as hardware unboxed showed, there is A LOT of people who don't give a crap about ray tracing.
I'd say even if you are a solid NVidia loyalist, the 7900xt is still a much better purchase at this time since the possibility of NVidia releasing the 50 series gpus q4 this year or q1 next year are very high. So why not just buy the much cheaper but more powerful(in rasterization) card for now to tide you over until the 50 series cards arrives. There aren't any killer rtx titles that are coming out this year anyway so you aren't really gonna get a lot of use from the only feature 4070 ti super has over the 7900xt
If I could get out now 700$ on 7900xt and 800$ on rtx50xx series in year or two, then I would prefer wait few month and either buy 4090 for a bit lower price or new 50xx. If you buy GPU every 2-3 years then either they are of lower end(300$-400$)& 7900xt isn't for you, or you have enough budget to buy (in month or two) the most powerful GPU for gaming. And, spoiler alert, it isn't AMD
I went with the 4070 Ti Super. Even if the 5 series comes out Q1 ‘25 (I don’t think they will) there is probably going to be price gouging and demand shortages. You could be waiting months for the price to return to MSRP and availability.
Thanks for the video. For me I decided to get the 4070 ti super. I would of rather get a 7900xt but amd isnt very good at things like productivity yet which makes them being 8% different in price a no brainer to get the 4070 ti super
I dont know, i think they get payd for this reviews, i tested some games with both cards and nvidia was doing bettered then amd ! And grapic quality was really bad on AMD dropping frame glitches In images not rendering completely, at 1440p AMD small line was flicking! My friend has 4 AMD cards and in 3 years 2 of them exploded suddenly! Your choice now, but I think Nvidia is more good quality and for long term!
@@MMXGaming-ys9hr nvidia is like apple, you can sell it in much higher price than amd after 2 years. Its great if you think that you want to switch from nvidia to amd in the future
Hmm this makes me happy I´ve bought RX 7900 XT. I mean at that time there were no Super cards around, but even now I like the AMD card. I´m not big fan of RT as it almost always requires upscaling to get good frames and that is including Nvidia cards. Edit: Just trying to say I´m enjoying superior raw performance of my card without RT.
After seeing every single card nvidia has brought out after 3000 series, I AM SO GLAD I got a 7900xtx for 999 back in february 2023. I never had amd before, But glad I switched! 24 gb 7900xtx for 999 vs 4070 ti 12 gb for 800 was a no brainer in 2023... same still true now, I would get 7900xtx 24gb for 930, instead of 4070ti super 16 gb for 800.
7900 XT gang Although RT falls pretty hard on the upper AMD cards, they still give about the performance of the next step down on the Nvidia counterpart. Not bad considering AMD is only on their 2nd gen RT hardware. 7900 XT gets about the RT performance of the 3090 Ti. This is a more comparable card when it comes to Raytracing as this was Nvidia's 2nd gen RT hardware.
@@Carnage_Lot I really am perfectly fine without RT seeing how much FPS it eats even on Nvidia cards. I just hope that RT, so heavily pushed by Nvidia (go figure, right?), will not quickly become something I could not turn off at all. Btw I wonder how many years it will take for RT to fully mature and not eat like half of the performance...
@@FrostyBud777I can't imagine paying 1k for raster and VRAM only. Personally I would buy 4080 for less than 900 on the used market, if I don't already paid 1600 for the 4090 FE
I love averages, but it's definitely more about the specific games you like to play and how you'd like to play them. Just because a lot of games use raytracing, it doesn't mean they use it in an overwhelmingly convincing or responsive manner. So having a lot of RT games in comparison to rasterization is not a truly balanced-scale approach because in most use cases right now, if RT is available RT will not be ever enabled without using upscaling, which affects response times.
Drivers are a non issue but obviously its perpetuated throughout the internet; the main instability is cause i cause more of the instability by under volt or overclock not the end user The software is also a non issue; its a style choice and sadly it does have a gamer red gray vibe that you cant change but its in one app not 2 or 3
It would be unbelievably hard for 1 organization (even if they had the resources of Gamers Nexus) to robustly test 2 competing cards for stability. I can't even imagine how it could be done thoroughly.
What about FSR 3.0 for amd cards, obviously hasnt been implemented into enough games yet, but it does make up the difference in gaming when compared to nvidia.
I do think that differentiating Raster and RT average FPS/lows separately. A lot of people only care about Raster, so then AMD would do significantly better. I am no AMD fanboy, I actually own an Nvidia card.
It’s easy enough to take out the rt results, add the percentages together and divide by the number of games. That would give the overall average percentage difference. Otherwise our videos would be double the length 😂
My problem is that Im stil rocking a gtx 1080 that I bought for 400USD just days before the mining boom. Current frame/dollar rates are just very hard to digest in comparison.
Same. I can afford to upgrade.. but I'm underwhelmed. Theres also not any games out Im dying to play & the few that are coming, my card should still be able to handle at acceptable levels. What to do, what to do?...
As of 16NOV24, the 7900XT is $640 and the 4070 TiS is $780 -- 18% higher. The AMD card is about as fast on average and has 25% more VRAM. Power consumption matters to some gamers, but I suspect not to most. If you can bear the humiliation of gaming with RT turned off -- I certainly can -- the 7900XT is probably 10-15% faster on average. It's clearly the one to buy. But wait and see what we get when RDNA4 is released.
@@michaemia if u watching this because ur gona buy one of these cards the last few games to launch , black myth and wu kong 4070ti super has been a lot faster
I went with the 4070TiS and have been itching to upgrade my 3080FE for a while now. Soon to be on ebay. Lol Main reasons? 1. DLSS is superior to FSR 2. Power efficiency / noise, it's not audible. 3. RT performance 4. Frame Generation The last point is somewhat mute as FSR3 FG mods are available now. DLSS is so good, it neutralizes the benefits of better rasterisation. Even at 1080p DLSS is still worth enabling and overall increases IQ. Same cannot be said for FSR2 and this changes things quite a lot.
That's right. I'm glad I choose the 4070TiS over XT. If I spend more than $800 for gpu it better come with features not just restarization and vram only.

The one item I would say to add to your reviews is pointing out at the end the increase in VRAM for the 7900XT by 25% over the 4070 TI Super as an added value meaning over time as developers need more VRAM for AAA titles it will likely age a little better
By the time 16GB is a limiting factor, it's doubtful that either card will be viable. So it's debatable if it is added value tbh. Unless your crystal ball is telling you something different.
Cost per frame just give half of the analysis. Visual quality is at least, as important for the majority of gamers. Which is obvious in many titles where you clearly see a much better overall visual quality with Nvidia than with AMD.
i'm considering selling my 7900xt due to the continuous driver issues. i've had nothing but issues since I have this card. had a 1080ti up until then, since it released, and never had a problem.
your analysis is wrong,7900XT is faster and cheaper,rt games playable only at low resolution, small monitors ,1440 p ultra settings looks better than 1080 p with RT
My 3080 died recently and i don't want nvidia anymore, and my eyes are on 7900 xtx, however should i wait for any meaningful price drop? 4080s now cost around the same ant is a bit weaker in raster but better in raytracing which i don't care since i couldn't enjoy it with 3080 at the level i would like. Should i just pull a trigger and get 7900 xtx tomorow ? I am sick of ngreedia, i had 3080,2080(currently as backup),1080Ti, 1070Ti and so on, and even tried 4090 last year untill returning it. But it's time to try AMD. But should i buy it now or wait just a bit ?
I upgraded last year in May from an EVGA RTX 3080 10GB to the XFX RX 7900 XTX Merc 310 Black. Rasterization performance is great, the card runs cool and relatively quiet, but it's really long and takes up almost 3 slots with the support bracket. However when I bought it, there was a 150 euro price difference between the 7900 XTX and the 4080, so to me the purchase made sense. Today though, if the price is close, i.e. less than 50 euros, I think the 4080 Super is the better deal, especially if you enable RT, DLSS3 and frame generation in your games. While AMD offers upscaling (FSR3) and frame generation as well, they are just not as good as their Nvidia counterparts (yet). My 2 cents.
Id go ahead and buy it, global politics and shipping are more brittle than theyve been in 60+ years, exept for during covid. Last week when the 4080 super dropped, both the xtx and the xt dropped over 100 bucks in price here. I bought a 7900xt instantly, i want to be sure i can execute my hobby for atleast the coming years. In 2020 i waited to maybe save 50 bucks but ended up paying 170 bucks extra (470 bucks) for a 3060 12gb due to covid. No way thats going to happen again. (btw ive been team ngreedia since the Gtx 580, this is my first amd card) (cheapest 7900xt is 750 bucks here, cheapest 4070ti super is 900bucks)

I think I'll go for 7900XT. I don't care much about ray tracing, and the 7900XT's performance is sufficient. Plus the extra VRAM is an added bonus for future.
7900xt is 🔥. Bought 2 XFX Black Editions, and the OC capability is great. +15 power limit takes the boost clocks from 2600mhz to 2850. Considering getting a XTX version just to have fun with.
Frame Generation, DLSS image quality and Ray Tracing performance is why I bought Nvidia(I previously used AMD)reason being that I always used Ray Tracing and upscaling, also I like Frane Gen fps while maintaining a decent image quality so I kinda do appreciate Nvidia features and when we put AMD vs Nvidia price to performance while considering all of this Nvidia just made a lot more sense for me.

If AMD has fixed their RDNA 3 mcm flaws / issues (RDNA 3.5) and improves their ray tracing with RDNA 4 then I will consider a Radeon GPU next generation if they come in with better raster performance (~20-30% better) over Nvidia and come in around 25%. Healer than the Nvidia competing GPU product.
Your content is awesome but you're always on the fence. I think at the end of the video pick a side man. Choose which card you'd personally buy. It would be cool to see.
Am I? lol this is a tough one because they both do have their merits and I think I explained that pretty well didn’t I? For me, I love Ray tracing and I don’t mind dlss as it’s come a long way so me personally. I’d go NVIDIA on this one but I also use Cuda for rendering. If I was just gaming using rasterisation, amd is the one to go for. So basically what I said in the video I think. Will take it on board though.
cheers for this, i have a voucher so i can basically get a gpu for free butspending 200 more and i think i might get the 4070 ti super, i prefer power efficiency and raytracing, i dont mind spending more if it means my buils wont be much bigger
yeah ... there should also be a comparison graph without RT. Because this will be a usecase ... the question is: how good is the 7900 XT without using Raytracing.
Nvidia is usually better at ray tracing. So technically 7900 XT would win even more. The literal only argument for 4070Ti Super is DLSS. But both cards can run Native 2k 144Hz. So you need a $1000+ 4k monitor to even need DLSS. Your monitor should not cost more than your GPU. AMD is also cheaper, but it's not even needed
Imaging buying 700USD card and having to turn down RT because it doesn't run well. Sorry but until AMD gets their RT performance in order, they are just not good buy. Not when huge number of upcoming AAA games are gonna use RT or even Unreal 5's Lumen.
Showing a graph without Raytracing isn't unfair, it would only be unfair if it was the ONLY graph you showed. But a large number of people still don't give a single F about raytracing so they don't particularly care who wins in that, they care about raster where the 7900XT frequently stomps the 4070ti only for you to then have a graph where the 4070ti is "better" because you included results from raytracing which they don't care about. EDIT: finished the video and without splitting the raytracing vs no raytracing results this entire video is useless for a large number of people, most likely the majority. It's not some back breaking work to do 2 extra slides with Non raytracing averages and non raytracing cost per frame, its essential.
I hate that it is soo hard to choose between these two GPUs :) In Erope the RTX 4070 TI Super is now only 55$ more expensive (So basically even). I am about to go for the 4070 but I have some love for AMD. But I potentially have to see how next gen for AMD performs. I think the 4070 TI Super is a card that is reasonable priced and I think it can perform good for years due to their features, where AMD lacks a little. We can cross fingers for FSR 3.1.
Im afraid using RT to compare total overall speed aint it. You guys need to separate your RT and raster results, since a lot of Nvidia users wont use RT either
The 4070 ti super costs in here on avarage 800€ and the 7900xt 700€, me being lucky getting a 7900xt pulse for 580€, id say the green one is still to expensive
i am not that smart when it comes to these topics , so can anyone please tell me which one to buy ? i am buying a ryzen 7 7800x3D processor btw. 7900xt or 4070 ti super ?
I went with the 4070 ti super for my son. Dlss is just so superior to fsr in image quality. I like nvidia drivers better in general too. Got mine for $750 with military discount
It is braa, 3060 ti has a much higher boost gpu clock than 3070 Basically RTX 3060 Ti is better than RTX 3070, plus rtx 3060 ti have 12gb vram, 3070 stuck on 8gb vram
Why are you comparing a $700 graphics card (7900 xt) to an $830 graphics card (4070 ti super)? Of course the more expensive card will be better. A better comparison would be the 7900 xtx ($920) to the 4070 ti super.
The only thing that has me conflicted, is the bandwidth of the VRAM. 320 bit on the RX 7900 XT vs 256 bit on the RTX 4070 ti SUPER… yea, thats a bummer as there are use cases, where this definitely makes a difference for me. But again, the RTX 4070 ti seems to be a good blend of effective and strong. I prefer a strong yet power efficient card. The RTX 4070 ti SUPER wins here. Raytracing isn’t that important to me, but nice to have. So while team red wins on the rasterization performance here, it’s not by much and raytracing is quite a difference, I’d feel inclined to go for team green once more. Lastly, the RTX 4070 has overall better image quality on video encoding, especially on the H264 codec, that AMD has slept on for too long and in spite of improving still falls behind. AV1 to AV1 comparisons are still not there between the two, which is weird. So i would not go blindly for the promises of AV1, trusting that AMDs AV1 encoder will be as good as NVidia’s AV1 encoder. All things considered, I have to say: Even if the price difference was 100 Euros more in my country, I’d still go for the 4070 Ti SUPER over the RX 7900 XT, even if it was painful at that point.
It’s funny now to do tests on cards where one came out a year ago, and the second just recently. In two or three months, with the release of new drivers, it will be more clear which card is more interesting. My choice is 4070 ti super).
RX7900 GRE and XT are best gpu's at the moment. I never had any wow efrect from using RayTracing, i dont really see that much visual improvement. So AMD is really smart choice, you get all the relevant stuff and performance for enjoying smooth gaming.
That's because these techtubers are selling RT when it comes to Radeon vs Nvidia. The 7900 XT is 10%+ better in raster than the 4070ti Super with SAM enabled. Remember, these are advertisement disguised as reviews. Also, majority of these games are sponsored by Nvidia and Cyberpunk being their posterboy for RT.
@@itsatrap4986 Super Power Efficiency, superior Ray Tracing performance, the only playable Path Tracing experience, superior VR/Streaming support, CUDA, more widespread feature set and more stable Drivers. These are undeniable advantages of the Nvidia GPUs. The only thing AMD's counterpart GPUs have to offer is an insignificant (less than 5%) rasterized performance advantage and more VRAM (which only matters for the low-mid range GPUs). There's a good reason why Nvidia can get away with charging premium for their product, and that's because unlike AMD, they deliver a premium experience.
7900 XT is 100USD cheaper than 4070 ti super where I live so it's no brainer... RT are just pure for fancy. No one really play with RT on. For a cool screenshot AMD works just fine.
Ray tracing on cyberpunk is a cheat for Nvidia, in most of the games the difference isn't that big I'm willing to sacrifice ray tracing for better raster performance, I'll use fsr and AFMF if needed if I ever want to use ray tracing 🤷 Also, they both have their problems with drivers. I know many people, including myself, that have always been team green and always had driver issues. Nvidia having less issues than amd is a fairytale at this stage
If you prefer dlss, rt, fg and haselfree drivers just go for Nvdia. If you want restorized performance and save some buck then for for AMD. But for me Nvidia is the way because of their DLSS performance, less heating, power efficiency and better driver support.
But aren't all of Nvidia's advantadges just based on time? Stuff like software is something that has to grow overtime and we can clearly see amd trying to better their Software. so maybe, in the near future, team green will sweat a bit harder when Streamers choose their gpu.. Or am I wrong??
Even though the 4070 Ti super looses by quite a margin to the Radeon RX 7900XT I'd still rather buy Nvidia because it just has way better features and drivers to use. It's the truth. 80-90% of buyers buy Nvidia. Frame generation luxury and better Ai tasks better upscaling like the list goes on. Same goes for the 4060 Vs 6700 XT I'd rather buy Nvidia any day . TEAM GREEN for the win
Yea im more on boinc so it's more amd till you get to the 4090 but 2xor 3x cost kills me still like to game but I don't use ray tracing even in cyberpunk 2077
Im not loving yhe prices, but i have all but accepted that my huge 4K monitor will force me to dish out close to 1K for a GPU that can handle it. And, no, 1080p or provably rven 1440p will be grainy on a 49" diagonal, non-ultrawide monitor... Basically, i screwed myself when I bought it. 😂 What I am loving is the fact that AMD is now punching at a similar weight as Nvidia. Its taking a few losses here and there but it has a laundry list of wins as well. And, while there is no competitor to the 4090, and likely wont be for a while, and the 5090 will probably runaway even more, gamers now have more than once choice, and that's always good for us, with 7900xt being on par with the 4070 TiS and xtx battling it out with the 4080's. Hope battlemage comes in and spices things up a bit in the mid-high end.

Power consumption is the key, amd might be cheaper when buying, but after, let's say one year, amd will cost you way more than an nvidia card. The electricity bill will be very very different...

You should provide the result charts with and without RT, simply because as hardware unboxed showed, there is A LOT of people who don't give a crap about ray tracing.
Next video will have that 😍
I'd say even if you are a solid NVidia loyalist, the 7900xt is still a much better purchase at this time since the possibility of NVidia releasing the 50 series gpus q4 this year or q1 next year are very high.
Guessing almost no one is buying a $700-800 card to "tide them over until 50 series." That's just madness.
Thanks for the video. For me I decided to get the 4070 ti super. I would of rather get a 7900xt but amd isnt very good at things like productivity yet which makes them being 8% different in price a no brainer to get the 4070 ti super

7900 XT gang
Although RT falls pretty hard on the upper AMD cards, they still give about the performance of the next step down on the Nvidia counterpart. Not bad considering AMD is only on their 2nd gen RT hardware. 7900 XT gets about the RT performance of the 3090 Ti. This is a more comparable card when it comes to Raytracing as this was Nvidia's 2nd gen RT hardware.
@@FrostyBud777 Glad you are happy with your XTX!
You guys are doing God's work here. Keep up the hard work.
Excellent video. As a 7900XT owner, I can confirm that it is a very good card for the money.
Well, what is next to the RX 7800 XT, the first decent midrange option.
I like it that you showed numbers with RT on and RT off
If you want RT, VR, video streaming upscaling and HDR OR AI - then NVIDIA.
If you want basic raster and want to save a few $$$ - AMD
No bro. Power consumption, fan noise and temps also important factors to consider, without mention Nvidia better dlss and stream effects for voice
One thing i wished reviewers would also add is how is the driver performance/stability!
Good 😂 didn’t have any issues with either to be fair.
If I did then I’d likely comment but had no issues with the testing I did.
@@eTeknix Cool
Drivers are a non issue but obviously its perpetuated throughout the internet; the main instability is cause i cause more of the instability by under volt or overclock not the end user
The software is also a non issue; its a style choice and sadly it does have a gamer red gray vibe that you cant change but its in one app not 2 or 3
It would be unbelievably hard for 1 organization (even if they had the resources of Gamers Nexus) to robustly test 2 competing cards for stability. I can't even imagine how it could be done thoroughly.
What about FSR 3.0 for amd cards, obviously hasnt been implemented into enough games yet, but it does make up the difference in gaming when compared to nvidia.
FSR3 is not widely available, which makes 0 sense to include, especially when FG is also not used.
A lot of people also only care about RT so it’s kind of nice to know what these cards will both preform like at their worst
@@duh650dumcityIf a card is still working fine for your needs and demands then there's no need to upgrade. You don't need to have the fastest.
I went with the 4070TiS and have been itching to upgrade my 3080FE for a while now. Soon to be on ebay. Lol
Main reasons?
1. DLSS is superior to FSR
2. Power efficiency / noise, it's not audible.
3. RT performance
4. Frame Generation
The last point is somewhat mute as FSR3 FG mods are available now.
DLSS is so good, it neutralizes the benefits of better rasterisation. Even at 1080p DLSS is still worth enabling and overall increases IQ. Same cannot be said for FSR2 and this changes things quite a lot.

By the time 16GB is a limiting factor, it's doubtful that either card will be viable. So it's debatable if it is added value tbh. Unless your crystal ball is telling you something different.

Wait, the XTX must drop prices to be competitive, so is better to wait.
My 2 cents.
Id go ahead and buy it, global politics and shipping are more brittle than theyve been in 60+ years, exept for during covid.

yeah ... there should also be a comparison graph without RT.
It's not some back breaking work to do 2 extra slides with Non raytracing averages and non raytracing cost per frame, its essential.

what about working on an amd video card?)

There’s 0 chance MW2 had 141 FPS at 1440P. I easily get 160-180 FPS without upscaling at all. And I have a regular 4070Ti
They are objectively NOT the best GPUs, they're not even better than they're Nvidia counterparts, they're just cheaper.
@@verde5738 reeeeee
Future note... Don't do bar charts with different shades of the same color. They are useless to color bilnd people Esepcially blue.
You should separate the RT results when showing the overall averages. Some people don't give a crap about ray tracing.
@@itsatrap4986 The copium of the AMD delusionists never ends xD Nvidia simply has the better product, it's as simple as that.
@@verde5738 aww the delulu is here.
Ray tracing on cyberpunk is a cheat for Nvidia, in most of the games the difference isn't that big
I'm willing to sacrifice ray tracing for better raster performance, I'll use fsr and AFMF if needed if I ever want to use ray tracing 🤷
Also, they both have their problems with drivers. I know many people, including myself, that have always been team green and always had driver issues.
Nvidia having less issues than amd is a fairytale at this stage
would 3700x be enough with 2x7900xt gpus at 4k ???......thx...........
Can not use 2 gpus,
@@gusmlie
what do u mean ???......with other processor u can or what ???....
If you prefer dlss, rt, fg and haselfree drivers just go for Nvdia.
If you want restorized performance and save some buck then for for AMD.
But for me Nvidia is the way because of their DLSS performance, less heating, power efficiency and better driver support.
I hope Intel can offer something better in their next gen cards
Can't wait for 7900xtxtx vs 4070 ti super ti super
7900 xtx best choice, almost same price 4070tisuper
LoL no I would rather get the xt that the xtx
But aren't all of Nvidia's advantadges just based on time? Stuff like software is something that has to grow overtime and we can clearly see amd trying to better their Software. so maybe, in the near future, team green will sweat a bit harder when Streamers choose their gpu.. Or am I wrong??
I'll stick with my RTX 4070 Ti Super for content creation.
Currently the 7900XT is 749€ and the 4070 Ti Super 859€ Im buying the AMD one. And no I dont care about RT
What I am loving is the fact that AMD is now punching at a similar weight as Nvidia.
Got my 7900xt for 620 usd, 4070 to super was still around 800
How's it going? Any driver issues? What brand did you buy?
@ I got asrock phantom gaming and it’s going great, and no driver issues since I use ddu to remove old drivers and update to new ones afterward, and turn off quick start up. Before that crashed a couple times but now I haven’t crashed once
I only paid $699 for my RX 7900 XT delivered back on Feb 14 2024, and it is still $699. Wow Ray tracing look at the fancy shadows oh my, sarcasm.
Thanks, I already buy 4070 ti super, the only reason is that the only cheaper rx 7900 xt is made by xfx. The other option priced same or higher than ryx 4070 ti super. And since my xfx rx 6700 xt broke after 3 months, f**k xfx
Power consumption is the key, amd might be cheaper when buying, but after, let's say one year, amd will cost you way more than an nvidia card. The electricity bill will be very very different...
7900xt with recent prices is going against 4070 super, more than ti super..
Yeah its $630 today and the 4070 super is $600 where I live.
The 4070 super ti is $849 while the 7900 xtx is $929
Can't do them benchmarks tho I'll basically be a blood bath that AMD will win.
@@alkine3011It wins if we discount all Nvidia software advantages.

Everytime they update it, the replay function doesn’t work (which is the best way to test for consistency) and we have to retest everytime. Same with Fortnite.

but for me why i went with the nividia 4070ti super over the amd 7900xt was future proof were more games putting ray tracing and amd just dont do ray tracing well least not like nivida does plus dlss is lot better right not then fsr so yeah both got there pluses but future i think if you test these same cards on new games at the time the nivida card be lot higher frames average then the amd card but i love there is more companies if intell get higher cards be great more merry
Picked up a 7900xtx £750 in Asia while on holiday so I got bargain
I have an RTX 3080 and i see no point in upgrading to the 40 series gpus they all too slow when you enable ray tracing. I will upgrade when a gpu can run cyberpunk at 4k native with path tracing on at a steady 60fps.
Nvidia Fanboy "ray tracing cyberpunk!!"
Ok, first of all I don't purchase something based on 1 game.
But, if you must know? I play Cyberpunk at 4k ultra raytracing preset FSR balance with FG (mod) at 70fps+. And honestly it looks amazing on my OLED>
So, I' don't feel like I'm missing out on anything lol. PATHTRACING looks like a cartoon, life doesn't look like that. Everything is over reflecting, and looks ridiculous.

Rtx 4070 ti s. Is much better than 7900xt
Sorry amd
People say “RX 7900XT is better than 4070Ti Super by frames/$ but… Let’s talk about compatibilty about DLSS and FSR (and the better image quality of DLSS), Frame Generation and AFMF, and raytracing perfomance…
