Hammershot. You can use it one handed, and you can even prime it one handed on the draw. When used two handed, priming with your off hand thumb you can still keep the blaster at eye level for precise shots unlike the strongarm which essentially requires you to hipfire. Also, with a cross thumb grip and the technique of cocking the hammer quickly using your offhand in a two handed grip, you can achieve a similar or even faster firerate than a strongarm. Also, priming it with two hands isn't as unbalanced as doing it with a strongarm. One dart of capacity less isn't really enough of a difference to make a difference, and arguably the compactness makes it a tad bit more maneuverable compared to the bulky strongarm.
Then again, those are just my opinions, based on my experiences. Different people have different experiences, and so they have different opinions. Is the Hammershot superior to the Strongarm? You be the judge.

and i personally love dual wielding the hammershots, very doable because of one hand priming, probably the only gun that you can honestly dual wield with when it comes to wars too

You could dual wield strongarms by towing them togeter at the sling attachment points on the slide
You can dual wield Disruptors because they have a small claw at the bottom of their handles, which means you can use the claw on the opposite Disruptor and vice versa

I like the hammershot, but some other hammer style blasters are a bit harder to fire unless I'm used to it.
I had originally chosen the SA over the HS a while back due to the slam fire, extra dart, and it does shoot a looter farther and straighter, but the more I think about it the SA has a role more for someone who just wants to run a pistol, while the HS is much more well suited for an actual side arm, something you can pull out and use reliably when you need it. The SA is simply too large and bulky to holster reliably, and the one handed operation of the HS really makes it the better choice.
Operating the hammershot makes you feel like a badass not gonna lie

You know, I've always wondered why the old Nerf Dart-Tag Snapfire never got popular. I mean sure, it doesn't have elite ranges but you don't have to prime the gun, so isn't that kinda cool? The range should be more than enough for indoor Nerf wars.
I pick the hammershot because it would be amazing to duel wield two modded to look like space revolvers. Then dress up as a high tech deadshot.

Modulus is a stryfe but it's pretty cool
Rampage is a raider only more far shooting and just better
Rapidstrike is elite version of stampede so it's cooler and better
Triad shoots durther than double strike and has extra dart plus faster priming......
Not to bash coop. This is simply my opinion
As a proud owner of the strongarm and previously owning a hammershot I'd have to say respectfully that the strongarm does it for me. As it is slightly older the firing system is quite compatible with plenty of mod packs (None in specific) because its firing system is used in newer and plenty previously produced handgun's. It also features a larger ammo capacity and is slightly more accurate. The double handed- action is a major flaw but pretty much every hand gun in general is quite impractical with one singular hand. I also tend to find myself falling towards the strongarm due to chamber slip with the hammershot as not only does the pin slip out from under my finger. sometimes it will blatantly refuse to chamber. This may only be a problem with my hammershot as not all are perfect but I also get alot of similar complaints.
Anyway's both the firearms are amazing weapons and though I sound as If I lean to the strongarm the hammershot is a amazing blaster as it is quite powerful. Its hard to decide which is better

This is kind of a tricky versus imo. I think it comes down to what you want more. Do you want something that feels more like a traditional pistol, or do you want a smaller package thats easier to holster and can be used with 1 hand in case you dont have a sling for your primary

Hammershot, In my opinion, it is the best nerf gun to ever exist, there are probably more mods for the Hammershot than for the Stryfe, Rapidstrike, and Strongarm combined. The Hammershot also beats out the 6sh, The Trailblazer, And the Hammerstorm, because it is smaller, has half-dart mods, and has more open barrels. The Hammershot beats most dart zone pro/max blasters by being quiet and dual-wieldable, and with the right mods, it can be just as powerful as they are.
The strongarm on the other hand only has a few mods, those being a drop-out cylinder, dual strongarms attached, and an upgraded spring, the strongarm takes longer to reload, and can't be reloaded without disabling the blaster(the cylinder flips out). If you want slamfire, then go for a higher capacity blaster, like an alpha trooper, Is that too large, then fan a Hammershot with a 16-dart cylinder mod, the fanning is weaker, but it still has a high rate of fire, and if you can time it just right, it will catch and still have a fast rate of fire. The only reason a strongarm is better than a Hammershot is in a stock pistol war, where you are not allowed to dual wield, But the Nerf flip-furry, or the Xshot Xcsess, would beat it.

That was surprising. Now, the Hammershot is my favourite between the two, I would have gone for the Strongarm, it's has just been more practical in my experience.
Also, I don't agree with the whole notion of the secondary only being used to fight to your primary. As Ron Avery once said, you should be able to fight with your secondary even if you are outgunned.
I think they are equal. Strongarm is the more bulky weapon with the slam fire and extra bullet capacity, but the hammershot has the one handed operation and is a better side weapon. It really depends on what you want more
Nerf Strongarm is the most underrated to use to defeat players in the first. With that being said, it is still good and the size is quite a little larger than Nerf Hammershot. It has 6 bullets which are little more ammo than Nerf Hammershot.
Nerf Hammershot is the best design and is faster than Nerf Strongarm. Perfect size for any hand size is suitable and very clever to shoot faster with press trigger and hold firing.

I love using my hammershots for HvZ, I have surprisingly good accuracy with them and they really help when I run out of ammo on my primary or it jams.

+TheZOMBIEJ You sir, are an amazing creature. From what I heard, the 25rd drums that come with it are terrible, nowhere near the quality of the pre-elite Alpha Trooper 18rd drum or the Rampage 25rd drum. The grip design is made more like a mounted machine gun, is insanely hefty compared to a Rapidstrike or even a Stampede, and the fire rate is pretty mediocre considering it has two barrels firing directly after each other. The price tag is even worse, especially since it is actually double if not, more than double the Stampede, which was functionally superior and had a solid rate of fire. Terrible waste of potential.

Totally agree! Plus why would you want to completely empty your secondary that fast? When I drop down to my pistol (hammershot), my primary is either down or I don't have time to reload. Besides you can upgrade it to six shots.
Actually, with half darts, you can get to 16 darts with only .5 in extra bulk(not enough to make it bigger than the strongarm).

with the Strongarm, the base of the grip comes with a priming grip- meaning while both hands have Strongarms, you can use the grip of one to fire the other (like the Firestrike)

Hang on, but the strongarm can fire off two darts REALLY FAST but priming and then firing by squeezing the trigger, keeping your finger down, and firing a slam shot directly after! That's actually pretty useful!

I would say both since dual wielding is very helpful, Hammershot is more moddable in terms of capacity although you cannot reload it quickly like that since dual wielding doesn't mean you have infinite capacity. Strongarm, rarely modded through it's cylinder type could still reload faster with drop cylinder, Nonetheless with the slamfire.
Hammershot is much efficient on Dual Handling , but i know how to make same thing with dual strongarms . The true challenge is than you have a very little of yourself to re-arm or to reload .

I totally agree, I love the Hammershot blaster. Because personally, I love using pistols, and I think the Hammershot is the best by far.

Coop theres is a 6 shot cylinder and now a SEVEN shot cylinder for the hammershot, that makes the strongarm pretty outdated. EDIT: I wrote this comment before i watched the video, lol.
Everything mentioned about the Hammershot also applies to the Sweet Revenge from the Rebelle series, so a little boy may be a tad disappointed to find out that his little sister's SR is better than his Strongarm. I personally have a little sister and was gonna get a Strongarm until I saw she was gonna get a SR and got one for myself XD
Plus, to make up for the smaller ammo capacity and slower fire rate, you can effectively run the Hammershot as akimbo pistols, which negate the strongarms stat advantages.

Coop, you're awesome. Great choice, and awesome video. The second thing I like about the Hammershot, is if you have to do a pistol round, and you don't want to use, or don't own the Flipfury, you can use two Hammershots for 10 dart capacity, much easier than 1 or 2 Strongarms.
The hammershot also has an incredible trigger feel
I put a sling on my strongarm, and put that around my neck. This works because i'm not too tall, but I can always use it with one hand.
I would prefer strongarm bc i would put a sling to my primary and put my secondary as primed,of course not for a long time, slamfire is very good feature and 1 extra dart is important to me.

And when you've been shot in one arm and that you're only allowed to used the remaining arm, the hammershot becomes clearly the best weapon by miles. But where to find hammershots…

For a pistol round you could just duel wield hammershots in stead of one strongarm
i choose the strongarm because if it's my sidearm, i'll be my only weapon on hand at the time so the fact i have to use two hands to operate it isn't a problem.
Strongarm makes you feel cooler when reloading because the cylinder pops out.
I don't know about the HammerShot from 2015, but the one I just bought has a sort of slamfire function.
Pro of the hammershot, duel wielding you have 4 more darts if you were to duel wield hammershots than if you were just wielding a strong arm

Once it was my friend vs me, he had a Maverick from back in the day and I have the Strongarm. We both had 2 lives and were on opposite sides of a bed. I turned around, and started slam-firing as fast as I could and I won.
My brother and I are doing versus, but we are not doing what you're doing, we're doing how much it hurts. We aren't asking your permission.

the nerf strongarm was my first ever nerf gun way back in 2014, i loved it until i had to chuck it out because the springs were broken and the trigger was jammed, i love that strongarm and i wish i had it again
You can get a 3D printed 7 shot cylinder that can be installed in a hammershot
I choose hammershot as well because my strongarm in particular has a ton of dud shots so that 1 extra shot is rendered useless for me since half my shots dont make it past 5 feet
I love the Hammersmith because I found a technique to which I could spray 5 shots in two seconds accurately.
from a modders point of view, the hammershot can have a 7 shot cylindar installed, but the strongarm can't, so technically, if you can get a 7 shot cylinder, the hammershot is overall better than the strongarm
