The hyperfire was one of my first nerf guns and is my favorite to this day. I lost mine bc i was a dumb little kid but now, i found a hyperfire ad goodwill for 15 bucks and im just overloading in nostalgia
I know I’m 2 years late, but rapidstrike allows more room for modding, and can fire stupid fast with the more reliable plunger firing system. The hyperfire has the advantage of being unique and firing very fast, but range is limited due to the flywheels getting bogged down very quickly while firing. The conveyor belts found on both the hyperfire and regulator are unreliable with older, softer darts. My personal opinion is that the rapidstrike is superior.
Ok I get it the ergonomics of the hyperfire are weird but I LOVE MY HYPERFIRE in my opinion it is Comfortable it is my favorite Nerf gun Edit: I got my hyperfire at a thrift store for 5 USD so yeah
Rapidstrike: Traditional AR M4 style blaster (just regular full auto) Hyperfire: More SMG-ish in form and RoF, although more accurate somehow (to combat this for true p90 style - use elite darts)
just open it up and remove the dart lock. Really, you don't have get rid of all of the locks because the dart lock is highly responsible for majority of jams, especially when you have crummy darts ;)
I personally don't have a problem holding the Hyperfire. I find it really easy to pivot around and such with it. I bought my Hyperfire at Fry's at 35 USD. The blaster just screams P90 the way it's set up behind the mag port. I got this as a specialty to my Regulator. It might just be me, but the front of the regulator looks like a UMP45 to me.
He probably got it from Costco or somewhere similar. They sometimes have Nerf blasters in value packs that comes with extra stuff for a really good price.
you forgot about the compatibility w/ used darts. I could have sworn you said that because the Hyperfire had that conveyor belt feed, it was more prone to jams with any worn or torn darts, as opposed to the push mechanism on the rapidstrike.
I bought myself a Rapidstrike, and I experienced severe feeding issues when using smaller magazines filled to capacity. It wouldn't fire darts from a ten rounder unless it was at, like, half capacity. The spring tension in the mag is just too much, and the pusher doesn't push fast enough to compensate. This isn't particularly relevant to me because I bought it to eventually mod it, but it's a warning to prospective buyers. Magazine compatibility may be an issue.
@@ابراهيم91 You realize this comment is five years old, right? At the time, the Turbine didn’t exist and mod potential for the Hyperfire was essentially nonexistent.
You know in your Straven, you should use the magazine in the Raven's to fire with its flywheels to fling the dart into the Stryfe's flywheels spinning at a higher r.p.m.(cantered flywheel case) then you could get an amazing average velocity, eliminating dart slippage while the cantered flywheels provide high accuracy at a long distance.
Personally I think a long front rail wasn't required for the hyperfire. It's pretty big so you'd expect to be holding it less up to your eyes like a sniper-bro, rather you'd just be looking at the target while holding it on the middle of your torso.
Just got a bundle of nerf guns on ebay and it came with both of these! Rapidstrike, Hyperfire, a yellow Barricade, and 100+ darts all for $50!!! Awesome find! 😁👍🏻
@Rocks In My Sprite If you're doing a voltage upgrade you might as well go the whole 9 yards and switch out cage, wheels, motors, etc. But even putting in something like a 2s would pretty much double RoF and pretty smoothly at that Source: have done this before

maybe A stryfe vs. hyperfire? Or maybe you could make a nerf hyperfire with a secret storage place... insane ideas in my head... anyways, I don't want or need one...
I don't know anything about modding nerf blasters so can a modder answer my question? Wouldn't you be able to take the flywheel and muzzle from the hyperfire and adapt it into the rapidstrike? If that's possible, that's taking pros from both blasters and merging them.
Probably, but it would most likely shoot relatively the same to the original rapidstrike because the battery’s. Might be different because of the conveyer belt feeding system
Ratchetrpg01 I've gotten a rapid strike that felt the Sam but I noticed the fly wheels were damaged when u received it. I got a new one and it was much much smoother quieter and way faster than my first one.
BurnedPancakes64 I'm thinking about getting a nerf gun and I want it as close to an ak, or just a typical assault rifle, and I think that's my pick. I'm probably going to use a red dot, not sure if a stock is compatible cuz I think it's built in, a long barrel, and a nice banana mag.(and maybe a grip if it really matters).
