Dr Perry, I've done this 3 days in a row. Observations are, my sternum is very sore, the soreness and puffiness extends into the inner breast tissue, seems like the tenderness runs throughout the ribcage, I have been sweating from my arm pits a lot and never sweat there very much before. I'm 72, have had so much trauma since childhood, although I've worked out with weights my entire life, survived cancer and am fit,, my emotions are sitting right there. I woke up at 3 with some anxiety. I will continue this along with morning flow and dandelion tea. ❤😂😊
Normal to be sire and also have sweating. Highly stagnated area for lymphatics. Do our BIG 6 forst and then add the sternum reset. Be prepared for detox
This area was so swollen and painful after I got super sick from toxic mold and toxic wildfire which happened simultaneously. I have slowly detoxed and do many modalities to keep this area free and flowing. Spinal flexes are an everyday thing for me. I will add this as I already know it will be awesome. Thank you so much for all of your amazing information ❣️
Hows it going? The rib sternum work really kicks in my herx reaction. I have to go slow even after a year with big six. Good news no more sharp tenderness as long as I do it most days. Sternum tapping plus rub/swipes along the ribcage
I have been doing all these intuitively for years (I felt I needed them) and I am huge fan of your channel and your techniques ❤️ Could you please do a video about rib flare? I have assymetric flared rib on the bottom left side
Thank you for doing this video. Super informative. I was diagnosed with asthma as a young girl, and struggled with it my whole life. It’s only now in my 30s that I realized it’s not really asthma at all.. it’s muscle tension and fascia issues. If only someone would have informed me about this sooner 😢
All very clear, Dr. Perry. I find though pretty difficult to rub the intercostal muscles in the breast area...very helpful material, as usual! Thank you very much.
Fantastic information, especially for people who sit in front of a computer all day hunched over. I'm going to try this immediately. I've been doing your morning routine for almost 2 weeks. That will be for rest of my life! I love it! Thank you for making my life better.
Thank you so much for this. I've been trying to figure out what to do with pain in the sternum forever. Used to stretch arms up and back and it would actually crack. Doing this would help prevent it even get tight. Greatly appreciated. 🙏
Dr Perry, you are such an inspiration. Many thanks for explaining everything so clearly. Our own imagination can cause illness itself because we've been in the dark so long. Bless you from the bottom of my heart ❤
Since l started doing your tongue and eye circles my meditation practice has been next level. I don’t know what the connection is but l like it. Thanks brother. Cheers.
Seeing this video is a gift from the universe..I've been looking for help with costochondritis and rib pain in the back. I have osteoarthritis and the flares in the ribs and sternum are challenging. How can I work on ribs and adrenals in the back ? I have terrible pain middle back at top of kidneys and rib area. This time it's on the left. Are there exercises I can do? I can't reach the area because twisting causes pain. Thank you for this info and any tips you share. 🙏💖
As always, just an amazing video Dr. Thank you so much! such a pleasure! for the past 3 months I've being suffering from an Intercostal Neuralgia, I've been doing streaches and breath work but nothing really helped. I also lerned through your videos that I have a bad posture, and I'm working on my laptop for 10 hours a day, plus I'm working as a manager in a resaturant( standing up) Dr, could you please help with some of your knowledg? Thank you again Dr, you're changing the world
🥀 Hi Perry!! I'm doing what you suggest perhaps as a way to expand my body awareness and see what comes later... It's been a few weeks since I started this one... On the first day, sternum area It was easy, however the area on the sides of the chest was becoming sore... I continued rubbing a little every day and today only one or two places on the right side slightly resist the touch... Thank you!
So if someone was to have pain under the breast do they keep working that same rib area ? Or do you just repeat from the beginning.. I’m really enjoying all of your posts. Thank you 🙏🏼
I have fibrosis in my belly lungs . It's been a painful situation with a lot of fevers and weak reactions but much improvement. The reason I suppose docs say you can't heal fibrosis is it's a big commitment. Keep us posted if you can 😊
Really appreciate this video. So much "fear and helplessness" emotion shows up in this area for many of us.
Absolutely! 100%. Powerful emotional spot.

Welcome and add some red light there, warmth, and some vibration ball time. Those will help too.
Just NOT ALL AT ONCE

See my prior videos on the ribcage. And thank you
I have been doing this too since a child. I have ehlers-danlos and my fascia is always spasmed . Lower left ribcage is a problem for me too
All your videos are very i formative and the steps are well laid out

Thanks for watching. Start here. The ribs in the back attach in the front. And look at some of our prior vides on breathing and ribcages.

Hi there thank you for the video was woundering if there is any gel that will help with tensions or some kind machinery to help instead of fingers ?
Anything that can get in between the ribs
Thanks Doc.
Is it ok to massage the both sides at the same time?
Yes, absolutely 😄

Or do you just repeat from the beginning..
I’m really enjoying all of your posts. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you for watching. Pain means ease up. But keep working. Hopefully the pain diminishes in time the more inflammation reduces with the work.
How long do you recommend working this area in the sternum for? Once a day, couple times a day, 15 minutes? Thanks!
Once a day is enough
I have swelling where us lay people would call solar plexus. Should I include working there like this?
Can't tell you individually what to do without a history and examination, but I do it to that area all the time. That is a big lymph block spot.
Can this be done with fractured ribs or not doc?
As long as it does not hurt when you do it
Is that ok for someone who has a pulmonary fibrosis?
Not a problem. Just may be more painful when you do it
I have fibrosis in my belly lungs . It's been a painful situation with a lot of fevers and weak reactions but much improvement. The reason I suppose docs say you can't heal fibrosis is it's a big commitment. Keep us posted if you can 😊
When I was doing I heard noises from my heart area which I hear sometimes without robbing it ,any idea what it is?
Not without assessment
I’ve a huge crush on you ❤❤❤
Doesn’t everybody?😊
He is super cute
Awwww thank you ❤️
hahah thank you ☺️😊
❤️❤️
My friend has been having pain that I suspect is from his intercostals and no doctors can help him
Now he can help himself 👍
Hope this helps. Intercostal pain takes awhile. The key is to work them all not just the ones that have symptoms. Hope it helps
I dont have pain in the sternum area. I have constant cracks and creaks going on there
Good to not have pain there
What if your pecs are too thick to be able to feel the space?
Put the pecs on stretch. Opens them up to get in there. Should be easier.
Here I am ❤ 😂 Dr Perry stalker and I ain’t ashamed
hahah stalkers are welcome. That made me laugh 😄
Advice for a woman to reach the intercostal muscles between the ribs?
Move the real estate out of the way
@@stopchasingpain Hmm 🤔 But the real estate is right over the area. 🤷♀️
