    I tried this last night before going to sleep and I've never felt so at ease. I knew about palming, but this method is definitely gonna be my go to

    I do this sometimes, but didn't know why or the reason for it. Not the breathing and other parts but I instinctively cover my eyes to relax. great info

    Dear Dr Perry. Thank you for your videos. I started to do the 6 thumps daily for the last 7 days in attempt to fix myself up and will be dedicated to keep this up. I believe nothing works in isolation and their is a mind and body connection. I really have done damage to my body unintentionally - related to long standing work in crisis intervention that I am spasaming non stop on the cleft side of my face and now neck and left side of body.
    I have spent so much money here is Adelaide visiting different modalities but no joy over the last 2 years.
    Thank you for being so generous sharing our info (you make so much good sense - I could cry) The spasaming are effective my muscles behind my eyes.
    Wishing you lots of good things - from your Adelaide base fan club. And all I can give you is a 🌷.

    Truthfully, I’ve been experiencing a headache all day that I wasn’t expecting to subside. I can’t believe this worked instantly! Thank you so much for everything you do. So many of your videos have had positive impacts on my life and my partner’s life as well. This one was the most substantial simply due to the pain I was feeling and how quickly it went away. I’m very grateful to you and your work and this will be a repeated practice for sure!

    This makes sense because when I get anxiety many times the lights at the office bother me, like all the sudden they are too strong.

    Very Yogic and Pranic, including the Om sound, credit where credit is due !
    Best seated, and you can combine with slow eye-rolling or even looking straight up towards the Pineal Gland. Right Breathing is essential, nose only. Shalom...
    Love your stuff, dear Doc, inspired !!

    What about needing to calm over-stimulation via hearing? After reducing noise, inserting ear plugs, etc of course.

      Look into Stephen Porges's Safe and Sound Protocol. It trains the auditory system how to process sounds. Sounds that used to drive me bonkers no longer bother me.

    Greetings - I like using this with my chair yoga class and often wonder about people wearing glasses - I worry removing glasses could be a problem with something happening to them - mine included - hence - if the palming just as effective over eyeglasses. thank you and happy thoughts & chuckles,

    I have recently started doing the Big 6. I know it depends on a case by case basis but I was wondering how long does it take the average person to unblock these 6 areas?

    • @stopchasingpain
      @stopchasingpain  10 месяцев назад +1

      Can't answer that question completely individual. And the BIG 6 might not be enough. That's just a very basic beginner part of our program

    We start our yoga sessions with rubbing palms and cupping our eyes and imagine the blackness engulfing us. Then do the tratak kriya. This helps loosen the muscles and help stretch better

    My autistic son who is unable to tell me why, always grabs my hand palm towards his face and presses it against his face multiples times while we’re in bed getting ready to fall asleep. Usually with a good amount of force. I’ve always wondered why. This has to be the answer!
