    I play DPS but i like to watch this stuff just to stay informed incase i ever have to swap so thanks.
    In the distant future, do yourself a favor and at 50-60 get your Timbermaw rep to Exalted. Pick up the quest The Root of All Evil which during you will have to summon a demon named Xandivious. Cast Enslave Demon(Subjugate Demon) on it and behold the most badass minion you will ever see! Never finish the quest so you can have this demon as a permanent option for gold farming or grinding winterspring frostsaber rep.
    Second, would have to be Immolatus rare elite spawn in Felwood which has a castable knock back and smacks crazy base hits.
    I was able to 1v4 with it and take my farming spot back during classic era

      I feel like specs are pretty much the same u just need to swap runes and that's it. Or does gear differ as well?

      @@Bansku__
      Gear varies only slightly. I believe they go for the tank cloak over dps cloak from STV PVP, Fighter Ace Gloves, & Wirdal's Hardend Core trinket. I've seen some tanks opt for demonology talents for the tankiness, although destruction talents do better damage and threat.

    I am going to drop a weird take for a weapon. Firestone offhand, with /startattack baked in the searing pain. which is also increased by Incinerate. And provides + fire. Hits around 75 which is much more damage than +12 flat.

    I am using curently crit on chest no need chaneler. Got 16% crit which with the boots rune gives me all the time 16%dodge and contant mana regem since of the crita. Each crit gives me back 300 mana no need to life tap at all just spam searing pain. Searing pain with 25%from incer. + shadow and flame belt rune is also on contantly since of the crit 10%dmg SP crits around 350 and its a freaking instant cast. So basicaly rolling a destro crit tank as u get insane dmg, constant mana regen + dodge

    Just a hunch but I think imp will be contributing decent dmg on bosses so it might be worth dropping destructive reach and 4 points in Emberstone for 3/3 Improved Imp and 2/2 Imp Firebolt, less important for dungeon leveling.

      @TaintPUNCH53 couldn't agree more. I've played all specs of warlock tank and destro was not only the most fun but just performs so well. Our one issue was threat in AoE but hellfire alone covers that. Immolation Aura IF it's a thing in phase 2

    • @TaintPUNCH53
      @TaintPUNCH53 6 месяцев назад

      I can see some aoe threat being an issue, I didn't have too much trouble, I have been running 5 in imp corruption. I usually start the fight with a couple incins into Immolate. Then corruption. It has been working really well holding threat on multiple targets. I think it is a bit exaggerated with all of the melee having wildstrikes as well. @@LeTempy-1997

    I hate to say this bc you said you’ve done this video four times now but you made a mistake in the gear section 😅. You can pick the other orb and get +14 fire damage to go with our with the dagger. Thats going to be big damage, if you’ve picked the other orb already though it’s too late and you can’t undo it
    EDIT: can you explain why you took pyroclasm when you can take improved fire bolt and then 1 point into improved imp

    • @LeTempy-1997
      @LeTempy-1997  6 месяцев назад +1

      Hey yeah that quest pickup is something I failed to mention but like I mentioned I used the gear to get our tankiness while the talents was for damage but you're not wrong. I'll be doing another build video for demonology as that's the go to for tankiness. Taking a bit longer than expected due to leveling/life balance but it is coming!
      Also I took those over improved imp just to keep it simple. You can 100% go improved imp in demo and improved firebolt. That's the other build but since it's not a huge difference I never brought it up. As far as my reasoning, strictly for chance to stun over a couple numbers of damage. I tend to keep the videos to the point where it's a very noticeable difference between builds. 😊

      at a minimum, you want to be going down destro far enough to get Intensity so you can lake of fire/hellfire on the aoe pulls without too much pushback. If you are running with a group that isn't too worried about speed or pulling threat, anything should work tbh.
      It's SM, have fun, do something weird if you get bored.

  • @RobedLogic
    @RobedLogic 6 месяцев назад

    I understand you're probably not a multi time top 10 performer, but deep demo for soul link will hold threat just fine. I personally will be checking out Ruin first for the crits, but I've got a feeling later the dmg reduction in demo will be fantastic for everything. The only threat issues i found in phase 1 were people with the 2h epic sword. More sp, gear, and talent options here make me not concerned in the least, regardless of build.

    • @MrBananachiquita
      @MrBananachiquita 6 месяцев назад

      I think soul link makes no sense in tanking. You will get less damage but your pet will die really fast, how do you want to keep it alive? Healers will have to heal your pet so from a healer's perspective and their mana, they will lose the same amount if you don't have a soul link. Also, the demo tree boost your pet, not your stats and you will not generate enough threat.

    • @NonSequitur15
      @NonSequitur15 6 месяцев назад +3

      @@MrBananachiquita Almost none of this is correct.
      1) Soul Link makes perfect sense for tanking. Yes, you still take the full damage between you and your pet, but consistent incoming damage isn't what kills tanks. Spike damage kills tanks. Having a 70/30 split dramatically reduces how quickly you can be burst down, allowing healers to manage incoming damage more easily. Your pet will not die very quickly from 30% damage unless your healers are braindead, especially if you're using Voidwalker or Felhunter. The point of Soul Link isn't to save healer mana; it's to reduce the chance your tank gets killed by burst damage.
      2) The demonology tree doesn't just boost your pet. Do you actually read the talents, or do you just regurgitate what other people say with no original thought? If you're having threat problems, you can run Succubus/Incubus for an additional 10% damage on yourself from Master Demonologist. Combined with 3% from Soul Link, you're getting more flat damage from Demonology than you are from Emberstorm in Destro. You do miss out on Ruin and 15% total crit to your Searing Pain, which is significant, but Intensity is the bigger loss. Losing pushback resistance for Hellfire could be a dealbreaker for Demonology this phase, depending on how much AoE tanking you need to do. However, you can have all of these talents at 60, and regardless of what happens at 40, 31 Demonology WILL be the tank build at 60, 100%.
      3) Based on the numbers we're already seeing, I doubt Demonology locks will have too much trouble with threat, especially with Salv and the new Shaman threat rune. We'll see what happens, but if both specs generate adequate threat, which seems likely, mitigation will win out. And that means Demonology. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
