Great film. I have this skillet and it’s fantastic. Cleans up amazingly in the dishwasher too. 👍🏼
Thanks for that. It’s a great bit of kit. So impressed with the non-stick. Makes everything so much easier to cook and clean.
@@HikingForHealth1It’s well worth the weight penalty.
@@dougieranger definitely, 300g isn’t a lot if you’re planning to use it. Can make a camp so much more worthwhile.
@@HikingForHealth1And well priced too.
This is a great skillet, pricey but worth the investment for some decent cooked grub 👍
It sure is. Had my eye on one for ages.
Lovely upload my friend, you edited this so nicely 🔥
Thank you. Such a great hobby. Got a fair way to go before I’m at your standard though! All the best! 😎
👍🏼
Loved this Gav, your videos tell a great story, well crafted and entertaining. I like this cook system, its always useful to have a range of kit that you can choose from. This looks a "high value" and well designed skillet, and Ill watch out for it next time Im on the hunt. And yes, bring on the Spring!
Thanks Phil, I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment. You’ve followed the channel right from the very start. The skillet is £ but it’s brilliant. 😀
@@HikingForHealth1 it's a great channel Gav, it's really not a chore! Keep em coming, hope to bump into you one day!
How amazing is that. I love great design like that. Great video as always gav very interesting as always, i always look forward to seeing your wildcamp adventures
Thanks, it’s a great cook set! Also cooks a great omelette. 🍳
Smashing vid
Thanks
G'day from Australia.
I am putting together my camping kit
that will include my sleep, water, and cooking system.
I am going for jetboil and the skillet as an complete system as it looks like everything is there that i would need.
Gerard on board,
SV GEMSTAR.
I think that would be a great choice. The Jetboil Minimo is a great stove and the skillet is just excellent. All the best with it. 😎
@@HikingForHealth1 Thank you for the reply.
I’ve wanted this for a while now but still haven’t pushed the button . 😂
I was the same. But… once I got it I knew it was worth it in the long run. Quality bit of gear.
@@HikingForHealth1 might treat myself tomorrow. Heading to the lakes for 4 nights wild kayak camping and this would cook up a mean steak 🥩 … thanks for the review !
@@chrisdodd9121 It’s a no brainer, you won’t regret it! I used it on my last wildcamp at the Woolpacks on Kinder Scout. Did burgers great. Good for omelettes too. You can mix all sorts in there for an omelette. No worries. Hope you have a great time!! 😀
Amazing fry pan. Cooks eggs perfectly and clean up with just a paper towel.
That's skillet looks awesome. I just recently bought the fire maple copy, but that looks like money well spent.
I’ve heard good things about the Fire Maple pan. The Jetboil Skillet is great 10/10.
A very entertaining video. I set out to buy the Mini Mo, now I just need the skillet. Also, why does English meats look very different than American meats? It kinda freaks me out
Hey thanks for watching. You won’t regret getting that skillet. It’s great. I just released a new video last night where I’m cooking up a steak. Have a look at that and see how it compares to the US?
Great video thanks, just picked mine up today 👍👍
@ianmacfarlane9454 enjoy! It’s a great bit of kit. 😀
Nice.
Thanks!
It’s has my tick because it’s orange 😂 looks a awesome set up and very small and tidy. Oh and how much butter 😮
Haha. Yeah, it’s a compact set up, great for popping in the hiking bag. Hope you’re well.
