  • To realize the goals of lunar colonies and space station platforms, man must first adapt to working in the space environment. "Space Works" showcases the in-orbit work already accomplished by NASA astronauts in the Skylab and Space Shuttle programs. Work such as testing the manned manoeuvring Unit on shuttle mission 41-B, repairing the Solar Max satellite on 41-C, retrieving two communication satellites on 51-A, "Fly-swatting" Syncom on 51-D, and salvaging the very same satellite on 51-I.

I remember flat earthers and space deniers saying that we never had pictures of satellites...

I'm thinking the flat earth conspiracy theory appeared out of nowhere at the same time as astronauts helmets were filling with water and thats how domes and firmaments became a thing. Am I correct?

Actually I seem to recall bubbles of air seeming to float up from the first chinese space walk when one of the Astronauts had a wee flag in his hand.. A few years later at least one ISS Astronauts helmet filled with water. I think somebody then constructed a demonstably false theory that had a glass dome above a flat earth to explain it.
