If the intros would decide which station would get the F1 rights, the BBC would win... Come on BBC we need the F1 back for everyone to see... At least the SAT & SUN -day
can they make the f1 champion of the year before say "This is Formula 1" for the intro the year after, i still like the commentating at the start of this intro though
The undisputed theme of Formula 1. Despite that, the production from the BBC has dwindled since they lost the rights. Sky have definitely taken it to a new level; especially for the aficionados. Might not be as humorous as the BBC but they know their audience and produce a great show (albeit slightly too much pre/post race).

Creative work like these titles is why the BBC is simply the best and so important in setting the standard to TV broadcasting.
