you should send me a prototype unit so I can make a few thousand polycarbonate plates with a resin mold as a tester ;-)... (just kidding.... Great work by the way, very excited about this machine !)
Thanks for the support! We love working with this machine and prototyping real parts in real plastics vs the compromises 3D printing requires. We are super close and we understand the enthusiasm but we just wont release a junk product without really working through the details. We all know were the junk product comes from and why.
@@ShopBotix can't blame a maker for trying ;-).... Seriously I have multiple projects that only make since if I can mold a few thousand parts, so I am looking forward for this project :-)
Very excited about this machine! Would you consider a beta-testing program for selective customers? (There will be flaws you wont find and customers will do, and like tenants, they will break stuff you cant imagine yet :D ) I would need that vor my vintage car parts business.
We currently have units in beta testers hands. Fortunately, we are wrapping on that process and moving quickly toward our initial release. Your so correct that users will break things that you would never think could. We will have a warranty policy and if something breaks on the machine under normal operating conditions and intentions we will work with customers to resolve. Your intended use sounds like a great fit for the MicroMolder. We still have some work to do but we are very close. Thanks so much for the support!
