That's pretty good. His videos are all like 3 hours long though. Thanks for the videos. It definitely motivated me to purchase my v4 recently. Oh...and yes it's hot lol
I disagree with the practicality score; no one buys a Ferrari then thinks: "Gee, it's not practical for my trips to Costco!" Heck, I've done five day rides in the Trinity Alps on a Ducati 888. The trick is to con your riding partners into carrying some of your gear; using the smallest tank bag you can find and not packing unnecessary gear such as underwear.
Nice video man. Did u do this one before u bought your bike.....? Did I watch a video where u had your own v2. Either way nice video. Your youth and enthusiasm really comes through in the commentary. Respect to that. Ride safe.
Can you do a video on how much distance it can travel on full tank of gas plus when it reaches the reserve/low fuel how much you can travel/mileage you get 🙏👍
Tactical x Recon haha I know! Doug has a huge personality! I gained alot of respect for him, this video was really hard to make and I still missed some of his key qualities
lol everyone says v4s are not funn to ride especially on the road. Big, heavy, bulky you have to ride it carefully and you can't really feel confertable with it
Yeah I tend to think of every 1000cc superbike that way. They’re completely pointless for 99.9% of riders. I will say though, they can be better for cruising because they have more low end torque and don’t need wound out as much.. less flickable than a 600 or something like this V2, but a little more “stable” feeling on high speed highway bombs. Id get one as a 3rd or 4th bike, just to show off and for highway fun.. I don’t prefer them as my only bike though.
I do agree they can be alot of funn in highways but honestly with the v2 the engine has a shit tone of torque almost as much as a liter bike it's just that the throttle response let's it down a bit... pretty sure u can fix that with a flash atheist I hope
Good review, would have scored it a bit differently on a few areas but great video fun to watch. I do have on minor bone to pick though, on Ducati's middleweight history you forgot the original Duc Middleweight The 748 produced 1994-2002.
You got me there! Making this video was harder than I expected. Doug really digs deep with his reviews! How would you have scored it? I tried to score it from Doug's perspective.
@@JonesBrosGarage He did a great job, and you were really nice to let him ride it. Okay I agreed with most of his scores here's where I would have been a bit different. Acceleration, not it's not a V4 but still 160 HP, it moves I think I'd give it a 8 vice 7 . As for fun factor, I think most riders will have more fun on the V2 than on a liter bike such as a R1 or the V4 because i think most riders can use more of it's powerband and have more fun doing it, and with that handling my score would have been a 8 or 9. Comfort, compared to my 749 or a R1 it's a couch I'd give it a 6 or 7. Practicality, can't really fault it for not having back seat when you took it off, but honestly I don't know many who would voluntary jump on that stock back seat so yeah.... and I've found sportbikes make decent commuters in traffic to wiggle through the mess, I would have given it a 4. But hey, I'm just picking nits here, great video and it's a great bike. Thanks
You buy a Ducati for style and class. Let me ask you this? Do you get the looks on a Japanese bike as you do on a Ducati? That would be a no. The engineering is Italian. There is nothing better looking . Who uses 200 hp on the street? It’s a 10 ! Resale of a used Ducati. A hell of lot more than a Japanese bike. Plus people have a tendency to take care of a bike like a Ducati.
You have to start of with THISSSSSSS is .....
jackmac66 I can hear it in my head 😂
All right Austin De Muro, this was funny. Great review!
Thank you! I’m glad it turned out as well as it did! Id like to think Doug will see it some day lol

I tried my best to capture all of his personality that I could 👍😂
Enjoying the vids man
Thank you!

Thank you! And I know, can never get too much Doug though! The v4 is a sweet bike, congrats! And they're definitely warm haha
Comment before I’ve finished video, if you don’t mention your height at least twice and a different height each time, you have failed.
Some Nygaard hahaha very true! Looks like I've failed 😂
Loved this mannnn
Thank you! 👍

Haha good tips, I'll have to start doing that! 😂👍

Haha this is my bike, I was just playing along with the skit. And thank you so much! 👍
You need to continue this!
I'd like to incorporate some of Doug's aspects into my own reviews. He has such a great and unique style!
At times you were spot on man! Way to get creative!
Hey Dario thank you man! Always great to hear from a fellow youtuber! 👍
Love you content Dario but do a review of how daily drivable the v2 is
I love this
I almost forgot I was watching a parody video

That's a good idea! I'll have to do that

I agree! 😂 I talked like Doug for days after this hahaha
Your kneecaps are far too clean compared to Doug's!
Very true! Good observation 😂
