2022 Yamaha MT07 Review || This Bike is STILL Worth the Hype!
In todays video I will do an in-depth review of the 2022 Yamaha MT07. For years now the MT07 has been considered one of the best motorcycles for beginner riders and a staple in the community. Watch as I go over technical specifications, get the bike out on some twisty roads and then test out its’ highway capabilities. For the first time since the beginning of my riding career, I have found a motorcycle to dethrone the Ninja 650 as my go-to starter bike. Find out why the MT07 is still the best bike to start on in 2022 and also can be a great bike for experienced riders. As always if you have any questions or opinions, leave them below and I’ll make sure to respond!

Wr250r Review || Freeway and Trails || How Capable is it?
I started in a ninja 300, it was frustrating when I outgrew it fast.
very good video , i rode cruiser over 1000cc and started sport with 600cc
I started on a 06 R6. That was one of the best investments that I made. I learned all the basics and was able to learn more advanced riding skills with the R6.
I started on a sv 650, great beginner bike! But never was intrested in sport or supersport bikes, they look ugly to me and sitting position is a pain after 30-60mins. But mostly all US youtubers ride some supersport, here in europe (germany) you dont see them that much.
I’m gonna start on a shadow phantom 750
I ride with a helmet and somedays I don’t. Could I die, of course but what a way to go. 🎉
Just watch your video. Considering one of these bikes. I had sat on one. But was on tippy tip toes. So would need it lowered. Am 5 foot 4. But short inside leg of 27inch. So inside leg measurement is most important. There is a dealer 2 hours away that got one with under 300 miles, and been lowered. So will take trip down to sit on her.😊
👍
Should you start on a 600cc motorcycle? Yes if you can afford the monthly insurance payment.
Tnx for video, I have a duke for street which is my most drives and some highway. But what's a SM for? That's the question
Thanks a lot. I'm watching videos like this to decide if i should start on a 600cc bike. I'm still very unsure and 50/50 on it. Yes i'm 33 yo and responsible and very serious. Yes i did do road cycling on quite a high level that helps with steering a bike and sitting on it. Yes i plan on using the bike mostly for travel on high-ways. BUT... it just still sounds kinda stupid. I mean it IS stupid but its a bit TOO stupid. I think it might just be better to buy a very cheap used R3 or a ninja400 and ride on that for a year, get tons of experience. Then sell it and buy a 600cc. Everything about it just screams thats the smart logical thing to do. A friend of mine has a 1100cc bike. Maybe i should just sit on that thing in a parking lot and if it makes me shit my pants enough then i know what i'm dealing with and i make the wise choice. Thats also the difficult thing with making these choices: Its difficult to know because you have never been on such a powerfull bike.
Newb question. A 650 is totally different then a 600. Right?
I took my lessons on a 690 MT-07. Went great. Fell over once on the first lesson trying a slow turn having no idea how to but after that I never really had any issues.
I needed this video
What a great day to ride. Donald is shook.
Bro my brother started in a 600cc and it’s easy for him
2.49 gallon 😢just as he passed the gas station 3 years ago damn
I am looking to buy my first bike. Been wanting one for years. I want to go fast and get a powerful bike but i got a family that loves me and wants to do right😔 gotta start on a 400 and probably won’t upgrade for a while
You're telling me its harder to learn throttle control on a bike with a more responsive throttle and a larger range of power, and its easier to learn throttle control on a bike that is more forgiving? Mind you, you said harder, not that its more dangerous if you meas it up. That sounds like garbage to me.
Apples and oranges comparison. This is like comparing a skateboard to a one-wheel.
195lb old dude and it is this bike, a Yamaha WR250x, TW200, or DRZ400. Used to be 'stupid' on a bike in my youth so probably a low CC option would be smart.
whats or thoughts 0n suzuki katanna 600f for stater bike
Was that a stock exhaust?
παρε medley
The worst comparison. Sorry
this is the dumbest thing I've heard...there are a plethora of 600 non SuperSport bikes
Takes some time for sportbikeriders to acclimate to these kinda bikes. This bike you change gears on lower revs because the torque lives there. Don't be afraid to change gears sooner.
Juat start on a liter bike
I wear a full face helmet while I ride my Harley Davidson Electra glide. Do you and let others talk, it means nothing.
I just purchased my MT-07 2024 and I agree. This bike checks all the boxes for me. I had a cbr 500 and still have a VTX Honda 1300 and this one seems to do everything better and still gives me highway speed. I pick it up this week and I am so stoked. Thanks for a good review.
In my eyes, you can start on anything as long as you respect the power. I started on a ZX-9R and I'm very happy I did, it made me able to instantly switch to any class of bike I wanted.
600 are fine to learn on stfu and stop trying to scare people
If a ninja 650 scared you, you’re a little wuss sorry. My first bike was a mt07 and within a month I was bored
Bro you literally don’t need to worry about the power of a 600 unless you’re in high rpm.
My buddy has been teaching me on his 650. I’ve gotten pretty comfortable riding it so I’ll probably just get a 650.
i started on 600 having only experience from a 50cc, lmao. Is not the ride, is the rider. Some people are just more skilled and other, feel the balance, feel the grip, feel the shocks if u know none of these things and have none of those senses then yeah better to start ride a car or a bicycle before u hurt somebody
If I own a 50cc should I get a 125cc when I can or should I wait and get a 250cc?
My first is gonna be a ninja 6r because I'm not planning on getting another bike bigger or smaller. My first will be my one & only unless I total it 😅
Smcr is the best❤ i have so much fun with this Bike❤
A full racing exhaust would make more of a difference
Just get a ZX14R
This is the best review I’ve seen on this bike. Hearing that your wife is 5’2 made me feel a lot better about purchasing one
Fat on your thighs matter too. I was 96 kg when i lost weight and got to 70 kg i gained atleast an inch of foot work. And my height is 5 feet 4 inch.
Excellent review.
0:15 husqvargna 😂
I like the way you say supemoto 🤓 nice bike, I wish I could afford one ☝️
This is for anyone...I'm 41 not a young git lol, 5'10 - 160lbs in shape CrossFit 6 days a week. It is on my bucket list to really learn how to ride and eventually ride on the track and possibly enter an amateur race circuit one day. The only real experience I have was on a Honda Rebel 265 ripping it around dirt country roads a long time ago. I am someone who takes pride and things that I purchase I don't purchase a ton of things they are typically special to me and I take care of them. So my thoughts are, using the technology of the different traction controls and coming up and really just paying attention on my riding going to schools... I'm looking at the z650 or what just came out the new GSX8S as a first/starter bike. Again use the technology learn the bike or myself become a better rider and maybe I upgrade to something like the z900 or maybe never. But I do also want something eventually I can take to the track again to be a better rider. What is everybody's thoughts on these two bikes that I'm originally looking at starting out with? The z650 and the GSX 8S or 8R...
Atleast you dont have to wash it all the tiem
The first reason I sold my motorcycle is because I cannot pronounce its name properly. I’m sorry but why people don’t even try I wonder 😢
Where are the letters that you pronounce husqvarna not husqavarnia
