One suggestion would be to wrap the cables in a figure eight so they don't pick up a twist from being coiled up, as well as possibly being instant untangling/access if the card had a twist tab.
I’ve learned so many things through your video. Among them, I got how parametric design work could be done in the Fusion 360. Also, I felt your concise presentation of whole design process makes it a lively and inspiring one. Thank you so much!
Very nice. I was organising my own "the box" of cables and thought of something similar but for an ice-cream container (the rectangular type) instead of the spool.
I am absolutely loving this design, especially with how customizable it is. However, I keep trying to edit the parameters in Fusion360, and I keep getting rebuild errors on Move2, Move 3, Extrude7, Extrude8, and Extrude20. I’m not sure what those features are supposed to reference, but it looks like those links are broken.
Damn, I just discovered your channel and comment in your last video about a cable idea before scraping your the hole channel! i hope you check it out, if not, it'sa headphone holder with jack retractable cable, the jack connector it's a great candidate as rotates freely, let me know if you want to know more.

Really Neat Project! I may move to a system beyond the *vast expanse of piles* now lol

awesome videos, just came from the drill press video and started looking thru your videos and I'm hooked
This is *finally* a really well thought out cable manager that gives a use for otherwise old spools that are too precious to throw away
The cards could be wider towards the center of the spool to encourage a radially increasing number of wraps for more efficient use of space

great video borge
I might create a remix where I make the label are perpendicular to the wire holding card for better visibility. Great Design though

man this really seems like if you printed the middle shaft of the spool you will have basically printed a second spool inside the first one
