    thinking of you, mr. finley. i wish he could’ve been here with everyone else. i miss his presence in the world. he was such a good person, a brilliant actor, and the perfect fit for paradise’s phantom. though it’s been some years since his passing, i still get a little mopey at the thought of him being gone. i don’t know why i’m choosing this comment section to get this out of my system... maybe it just helps putting these thoughts in a place full of other phantom fans who know where i’m coming from. anyway, i hope you’re resting in peace william finley. we miss you out here.

    A childhood friend and I went to see Phantom of the Paradise when it was first released in theaters. That friend passed away earlier this month from COVID. Every time since, whenever I watch this movie I think of better times. Phantom of the Paradise was a cult classic before The Rock Horror Picture Show.

    My mom and I watched this on tv when I was around eleven or so. I do not think she knew what the movie was about, since she had never seen it, but she knew I LOVED monster movies (this is in 1977 or so). Well, I suppose the Devil is a monster. LOL. The music is amazing, and the film was freakin' cool. Thank s mom, for keeping it on.

    • @guadalupevillalta2120

    • @XavierDesigns

      Santiago Rico well the juicy fruits would die, since they’re most likely in contract. They were blown up

    • @Pattysreal
      @Pattysreal 6 лет назад +3

      +Santiago Good question, but no, because Phoenix had never "died" before. Swan was like a vampire sort of, or Dorian Grey, past his natural death. Winslow/Phantom had committed suicide.

    Hello -
    Thanks for attending our Phantom of the Paradise event! Hope you enjoyed it.
    However, it's come to our attention that you've uploaded an unauthorized video of the proceedings to RUclips. Respectfully, we'd like to ask that you remove it.
    We went to great expense to put this event on, and to have it professionally recorded. Not only is it against the terms of our contract with the professional videographers to allow alternate recordings, but it's also dissuasive to potential attendees of future events - how many would attend if they could just see the Q&A in its entirety on RUclips the next day?
    If you've been to our shop or events, you know that we're absolutely as friendly as we can be about photography, social media presence, and customer relations, but we have to draw the line when it comes to violating terms of an agreement we've made with an outside company.
    Thanks for your understanding, your support of the event, and thanks for joining us for this wonderful evening with an amazing movie!
