I think its stupid how epic waited till almost the end of the month to drop Michael Meyers and Jack Skellington. We get to use them for about week then Halloween is over

2020 fortnitemares was the peak for me. Loved the whole infected game mode and vibe. Felt like a real Halloween update, not like right now with just adding some Halloween themed items and skins in the shop
Fortnitemares that year was pretty fun and I even managed to get both types of wins available during that.
i definitely agree i honestly wished the infected was its own game-mode not the core
Although they did put the most effort into making the event, i hated this event mainly because the ghosts were too op and infected mode was THE GAME and not an ltm, it was super annoying. Plus the only thing they added besides the ghosts was shadow midas and the witch brooms

Honestly, the 2022 Fortnitemares has been my favorite. Although, I'd say it's only because I actually had good friends to spend it with, unlike the older ones. So its a shame they're all gone now, so this time around, it has been a little lonely.

Yeah it may not have been what they had in the past but compared to this year I think 2022 Fortnitemares was a better event.
It was good because Chapter 3 was good. The event itself was kinda shitty.

I felt like Chapter 3's Fortnitemares felt more like Holloween than Chapter 4.

in my opinion a useless rave and a mid boss isnt more halloweeny than a vampire that can suck your soul out idk thats just my opinion tho
@@UnKn0wN_K4rmakid Besides that, it felt more like Holloween than this season. There are hardly any decorations, hardly any map changes, and the whole vibe just doesn't give the Holloween vibe.

I loved the 2020 halloween event. They should bring an augment which allows you to spawn as a ghost after you die.
Honestly I loved all the Halloween stuff when it was in BR. The zombies and all cause it felt like a fort nightmare. Now it doesn’t cause you have to go into different things like horde rush to get stuff. Also the decorations have been sadly and very badly declining. Chapter 1 season 6 Halloween theme was the best
What enriched the earlier Fortnightmares periods were the quests in other LTM's. This year, all we have are quests in Horde Rush. Before, we also had quests in several Halloween-related LTM's as well as in a movie-short LTM in a virtual theater. Those helped with the Halloween mood. And I think everyone is too hard on 2022 - now Epic has figured out how to protect an exposed player while upgrading on-map (current lightsaber mechanic vs. that of the growler claws), so the experience would be better and more players would realize that DJ Lyka gave you a great weapon for free. Epic should give all players the DJ Lyka skin.

Honestly it isn't even Epic's fault, they can make the best fortnitemares possible, but some people will still hate it and Epic will just scale back trying to make them happy as well but instead just pissing more people off.

The issue is that people complain a lot more than praise, that’s why it always seems like there’s more negative than positive and that doesn’t help either
I know fog was rather hated, but it doesn't even feel like fortnitemares without it.
Honestly I'd like horde rush to be extended from 3 to 5 zones, zone 3 being the original boss round and zone 5 being the storm King himself, maybe also increasing the team size to 8 to ease the end zone. And adding supply drops full of ammo and exclusive weapons
If I am going to be honest I still think that last year fortnitemares was still a little bit better than this years because at least last year it had something to offer and something new but this year is just rinse and repeat but with a new cool collabs

It's so Divisive that Fortnitemares 2020 being the peak of a Halloween event whether players loved it or hate it, I agree that 2022 was the worst one for me personally but This Year they made it better (slightly) because we had more content & sure something as simple as decorations being missing doesn't feel like Halloween but It doesn't really make me think the whole thing is half-baked 🎃
They need to bring back the respawn as ghosts. So much fun to haunt the island.

Absolutely right on all accounts, except I would have illustrated the failure that this year had as well. Hardly any Halloween updates except crossovers, they would've added revenant either way. The new shotgun is another reskinned weapon. Overall it really stinks
First bad fortnitemares. My favorites were 2020, 2018(my first year) and 2022 were bangers!! Wish they would make it great great every year instead of every other year.
The problem is there’s just not enough content anymore or more versatile content that can change. I completed all my challenges for horde rush within 3 matches in 1 day. Need more challenges for that. The map also isn’t decorated with spooky scary stuff anymore as well.

Being Epic is located in my home state of NC, I get to hear news about them on the radio going in to work at times. They just dropped 16% of their workforce, so that will 100% be a factor. Also explains why they just increased V Buck prices. We should see a little less in the way of content I would guess, not more...with a 16% employee drop.
chapter 3 fortnitemares was honestly kinda some of the most fun ive had with fortnite
in the 2020 fortnitemares i played on switch and i had stick drift and to heal as a shadow you need to stand COMPLETELY still and hold interact on a item to heal, but my drift was so bad i could never even heal as a shadow so any damage was permanent, I still remember to this day.
You say plenty of room for improvement, but seasons 1-7 are considered the glory days of Fortnite.

I actually really liked the 2022 Fortnitemares, it kept the original feel of battle royale and added nice halloween POIs. This year however, is imo the worst we’ve ever had
Not only that but the wolf mask you got combined with the chrome made traveling the map so much easier. I was honestly hoping they would add it back this Fortnitemares but since they haven’t i agree this is the worst year yet. (Chapter 3 is so nostalgic for me and it’s only been like a year god I miss that season)
Season 4 was entirely based around vampires, so it was basically a giant fort nightmares season without decoration not counting the eclipse locations.

I feel like this whole year epic was working on chapter 4 season 5 and the fast paced huge updates, i think that's why when they had an update it didnt change the map.

Midas’ revenge was so good! I ended up getting a solo win (Alive) and had a total of 31 kills! The gold pump DESTROYED them! Body shots were a elim!

Fortnightmares this year sucks I was expecting them to go all out with decorations when you land at different locations I’m glad we got brooms and some candy buckets but after the chrome chapter ended things have gotten really lazy with Fortnite I’ll start playing when things get interesting again
