    Dear sir,
In the column size for category 3 up to span 16' the column size is mentioned as 9"x18"
but in the bracket it is indicated as 230 x600 mm. whether the column size is 450mm or 600mm for span up to 16'. For other category you mentioned separately column size for periphery and centre separately. in this only one size is given. whether it is applicable for both location.

    Is it 300mm x 600mm or 9" x 18" in case span upto 16', bcz 18" = 450mm, so which one is correct, 18" or 600mm ?
Also for span more than 16' you have given 12" x 18" converted into mm as 300mm x 600mm, so 600mm is correct or 18" ?

2.5% as per my knowledge is the maximum reinforcement allowed in beams as per the ductile code!
For columns we can go upto 6% theoretically but practice wise upto 3-4% is tolerable for heavily loaded buildings else column sizes will be too high !
