When they rewound time, the dad talked to you earlier on and you kill him / the surprise when you find out about them being related.. so why did we have to go through all of this if our guy already knew.. did he just happen to "forget" he talked to the dad about being related to her and shooting the dad? 2. I thought that picture was taken near the time the dad died/was shot? So how was our character at the party to meet her then?

That drawn a conclusion that everything was inside the husband's head. The dad was actually a hypnotist try to make the husband forget about his love for his sister and move on with his life, so to the husband, the hypnotist aka the dad, was like a cop trying to kill him and ruin his love life The game was called 12 minutes because it include 10 minutes in the apartment and 2 minutes on the day the dad was murdered. Notice at 13:23 the clock only has 1 golden ring but at 31:16, the clock has 2 golden rings? The rings represent the completion of his life. First one is when he found out he killed the dad, the second one was when he decided to leave his sister, I'll let Jay discover what the third ring was by himself. So everything you do in the game was the dad trying to make the husband forget about everything, that's why there were many different endings depending on what you do I did not come up with this explanation alone, I did watch some videos and this is what I conclude

Holy crap, this game was not what I was expecting at all and I loved watching you play it. I was expecting it to just be some poorly made random game, but wow the developers did such a good job making it and I’m really invested in the game now. Another time loop game you may enjoy is 999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors. It's an escape room mystery visual novel (with voice acting, huzzah). It has two sequels but I find the original game to be my favorite of the three.
I second that! The two that I've played so far had a really good story and characters. Puzzles can be frustrating, especially in the second game. Might be interesting considering all the endings you can get to understand what's going on.

Using the watch to reverse time, the husband returns to reality, where he is still talking with his father about falling in love with his sister; the time loops are revealed to be the husband imagining a positive future with his wife and the cop is a manifestation of his father's interference. If the husband decides to accept his father's proposal to leave his sister, he enters a loop where the apartment is empty and he is alone. If the husband refuses the proposal, the scuffle repeats and he accidentally breaks his father's neck, and the loops continue to repeat. If the husband recites a book that the wife was reading during the loops, the father offers to help him to forget his sister, causing the loops to reset and begin anew. Finally, if the husband stares at the clock before choosing to forget, the father tells him to ends his imaginary future, ending all the time loops once and for all. God that was long lol.

This game reminds me of "the works of mercy" which jay played but he didn't do correctly. I remember him getting frustrated at it and saying the game was bad but I just wish he would go back and play it because it had such a deeper meaning and story

I always love the feedback Jay has to give in these games. These are the type of games that fascinate me too I just love the idea of loops and I really want to make my own game and do something similar and hearing this feed back is always special to me as I try to think of how I would build up my story. (I still need to wait a few years to learn how to do it though. I’m still trying to figure out how to use code. And I don’t have anyone to guide me besides school.)

You have to go to the bathroom vent again after the alone ending and open it with the key and set the clock to 11:50 to go to the dad scene there you can get more endings Also I wanted you to react to the groundhog ending. You can get that ending by calling bumblebee so that the cop goes away and get the wife to have dessert with you. That's just some hints to get that ending I really hope you make another video on this game :^)

Using the watch to reverse time, the husband returns to reality, where he is still talking with his father about falling in love with his sister; the time loops are revealed to be the husband imagining a positive future with his wife and the cop is a manifestation of his father's interference. If the husband decides to accept his father's proposal to leave his sister, he enters a loop where the apartment is empty and he is alone. If the husband refuses the proposal, the scuffle repeats and he accidentally breaks his father's neck, and the loops continue to repeat. If the husband recites a book that the wife was reading during the loops, the father offers to help him to forget his sister, causing the loops to reset and begin anew. Finally, if the husband stares at the clock before choosing to forget, the father tells him to ends his imaginary future, ending all the time loops once and for all.

This game reminds me of "the works of mercy" which jay played but he didn't do correctly. I remember him getting frustrated at it and saying the game was bad but I just wish he would go back and play it because it had such a deeper meaning and story

watching this was such an interesting experience. i never thought it would turn out the way it did, and im a bit disapointed about how sad the ending is. jay's commentary made it all worth it, and even though ill never be able to play the game myself, im really happy i watched jay play it.
I wonder what that cop is going to do now to pay for his doughter's medical bills. We know that he is capable of bad things, but now there is no watch to steal. :/

I always love the feedback Jay has to give in these games. These are the type of games that fascinate me too I just love the idea of loops and I really want to make my own game and do something similar and hearing this feed back is always special to me as I try to think of how I would build up my story. (I still need to wait a few years to learn how to do it though. I’m still trying to figure out how to use code. And I don’t have anyone to guide me besides school.)

and how did he forget that he was her brother!? This game is all good, but that just keeps bugging me, he knows her father, about the affair, and that they're half siblings (from the past) but through the gameplay, he didn't know, i seriously thought he had an amnesia.
Jay!!! You can get more endings after this too. You have to go to the bathroom vent again after the alone ending and open it with the key and set the clock to 11:50 to go to the dad scene there you can get more endings
Also I wanted you to react to the groundhog ending. You can get that ending by calling bumblebee so that the cop goes away and get the wife to have dessert with you.
That's just some hints to get that ending I really hope you make another video on this game :^)
That was an intensely uncomfortable yet satisfying ending for me and Jay's reaction was gold

The number of twists and turns in this game really amazed me. It takes a simple idea like groundhog day and turn it into a Greek Oedipus tragedy. Thank you for sharing that with us Jay. You are and will always be THAT DUDE!
The true ending was very interesting. Wasn't expecting that he would be the brother all along but the fact that he either ends up with his sister or ends up being alone, I think that they could have done better on that.
For the ventilation grid, you can open it with your key, doesn't need to be a knife...
