    very nice markers. my local shop got these in as well and i was able to play with them for a swipe or two on a few biz cards.
    i was very surprised when you hit it with the toothpick and the marker hit back. very durable paint!!
    and your paint swatches look amazing!! cant wait to see those !

    I applied some Champagne gold onto a piece of gloss white card stock. The color looks like real bronze metal! And very smooth looking.

    Been using these markers for a while now. So far, so good. They are better than the Dspiae soft tipped markers. I clean the excess using a toothpick after letting them dry for a few seconds

    I bought a box set of all the markers from GSN early in the year (RIP) and I have to say the color on the markers work great. Wish they kept the soft-tip of the earlier DSPAIE markers but besides that I have not had a problem with their output.

    I just picked up a few markers, going to have to try them out. But I’m more of an airbrush and brush type of modeler.

    I have the regular ones, only hace the gun metal color. I use them to highlight details in miniatures.
    And to blend the marker I use alcohol.

    Very cool I’m still looking for a really good flaky metallic red that I can do very fine lines with because I have to do scrollwork on a model. It has like probably 26 hours worth of schoolwork that I have to go back over. Any suggestions let me know. Proud Patreon member let’s make it to 100 K. Be well be you.

    Thanks for the review! quick question, how do these perform on just plain plastic? do i need to prime before using these?

    • @barbatosrex9473
      @barbatosrex9473  4 месяца назад +1

      They work fine over plastic. I've done a few just plastic and they came out great. Not as durable but if your not planning on handing the model often then you'll be fine

      Thanks a ton! I have quite a few that I want to paint, but without an airbrush, I have been trying to find other ways to sharpen them up. I have the army paints fanatic set and some citadel paints, as well as a few of these markers but have yet to do the thing because worrying about ruining the model. I mainly build master and master EX grades, so a ruin would be expensive. Any tips on how I could use the acrylic paints with a brush or will I still need to prime and then paint? Also, when panel lining, I am not sure when I should panel line and what to use. The gundam markers are ok, but not the greatest, and the nuln oil wash that I was told to use doesn't stick.

    These are Not broad tipped markers, they’re designed for medium lines or accents at best. When one tries to use tools in ways they weren’t designed you’re asking for disappointment. These things are “crafting” markers for making holiday decorations.

    Hey BR, random question for you, I've been using Alclad II black primer and microfiller on Gunpla. I like It a lot but have been experiencing peeling. The last time I made sure all parts were very clean, and even added some leveling thinner before spraying. I didn't thin the first time I tried it and it peeled very badly on every piece I tried to mask. This time around it stuck a lot better but still getting some peeling when masking. Any suggestions? I don't think I should need to sand every piece.
