Drink is the work of the devil. I recall my grandmother who was living in Dublin had a hard time over her husband drinking and my own Dad was bad for it too in his earlier years. He only stopped going to the pub when he had outlived all of his cronies. He once dragged me to the pub and tried having a conversion with some young people. They thought he was bit mad. I hate pubs and the Irish drink culture with a passion.
