There is nothing called manual testing, Its either functional or non functional testing and on using automation to assist the same it becomes automation testing. If still you think there is manual testing, then call development manual development. At the end both are done by humans not by robots.

To switch from QA to Development, focus on learning relevant programming languages and gaining a strong foundation in data structures and algorithms. Work on personal projects and contribute to open source. You should network with developers, and apply for junior developer positions to gain professional experience. Also if possible, check if there are developer openings in your current company and try to move internally.
I just checked Japneet's total years of work experience on linkedIn, I can see its around 4 years 9 months. Why did he lie on the total years of work experience by saying 8.5 years? He is 2019 Engineering graduate

*Hi Siddharth, which one has a better market in terms of no. of job openings: Cypress or Playwright*
Currently Cypress openings are more but gradually as per my experience, Playwright will be more use in the future.
