I really want to use these as my main key setup but the videos out there are either so vague or feel like additional marketing. I would live to see any comprehensive videos with this system. I love the way people like you break things down. I feel like I would get a great idea of just every day usability of these tools and with. No matter what my main knife and flashlight will always be standalone. But backups as well as added utility are always welcome. Can't wait for more

I got the black titanium full size for all my my keys, and then ive got a tan g10/titanium jr i keep at the bottom of my pocket with the new locking utility knife and a whatchamacallit. Perfect utility tool for me. Knife, flashlight, phone in my right pocket, keybar, jr, and wallet in my left.

I really enjoy carrying my Keybar, just my house key and the mini utility knife. One of favourite EDC items.
Just a side note; the leatherman surge bit driver fits perfectly in a Keybar.

yep! but I'm looking for a cheaper alternative than taking about a Leatherman to suggest.

yes! I agree about the full sized utility blade. if they could make one that locks up securely (both closed and open) and is easy to replace the blades, that would be so perfect for me.

I used a key bar for almost 10 years and don’t have anything bad to say about them. It was great with my old Toyota key because it was chinless meaning I could rip all the plastic off of it and put it into the key bar.
However after switching to a new subaru key/ fob combo. My keybar setup became far less compact because my car key was dangling
So what I did was use half of a leather man micra and ground down my two house keys . Now I have two keys, a flathead, Phillips, and tweezers all in a package smaller than my wife’s pinky. If you don’t mind grinding your keys down, it’s by far the best/most compact key setup for 1-4 keys

Ive messed around with this idea of turning a key organizer into a multi tool/key holder hybrid. I first looked into keyport, which seemed like it would become way to big to carry in a pocket. Then I also tries with my keysmart, which I haven't been able to fit everything I want in to it. But this keyport idea might be something I will look into too.

There are these small folding #11 scalpel holders made of titanium sold by manufacturers like nitecore and samior. I thought it would be a perfect removable blade for my keybar, but none of the keychain holes were big enough to fit on the screw post. The ones with holes big enough had bigger blades too long to fold neatly into the keybar 😔. So I eventually settled on the keybar MUT and I hope they make the full size blade insert like you said

That is so cool. It makes me think about the hierarchy of utility. I've wondered, "If I kept records of how many times I used each feature of my EDC gear for a year, would any of the data surprise me?" I know we all think we intuitively know what is most useful, but is it really?
I know that's super nerdy, but I know I'm not the only one.

I've been using my Key Bar Junior for just a few of my most used keys, and overall have enjoyed it. My main complaints are that sometimes it gets lost in my pocket, and sometimes it takes me a bit to get the correct key out. I need to make a pocket organizer that works well with it, but a pocket clip would solve things too!
Been thinking about getting the Quick key tabs to see if that helps with the speed of key deployment. Does anyone have experience with those?
Anyway, looking forward to more Key Bar vids!

The only problem I have with key organisers is they don't work with half my keys (specifically car keys and my bike lock key) so I'd have to carry them separately meaning the key organiser is just adding more bulk in my pocket.

I have a problem where I don’t know if I can use a key bar. My most important key is for my 1989 Jeep yj and it has a square slot and I need a lot of key sticking out. Do you think there is a way o could make that work so that I can use my Jeep key on a key bar. I figured there must be a way to do it as my key for the Jeep is flat…
