Seems she's adopted a US tradition (A cool one!), unless the RN has always had this one and not flown them so clearly. The red flag next to her large white ensign on the starboard yard looks like a 'battle flag'. Its two ace of diamonds cards with the ships crest and name. Thought that was a US exclusive tradition, usually flown on return from a deployment. Very cool to see, much like the kill markings on the bridge wing, they should be very proud of this deployment and should absolutely show it!
@@foxquetzal420 , I'm not sure if it applies here but in the age of sail a battle flag were flown port and starboard by the Royal Naval due to ships being covered in gun smoke during battle to distinguish each other. Obviously now it's just tradition when returning to port.

It's slightly embarrassing to get goosebumps and overly emotional on the return of vessels and crew from the British Royal Navy.
I would have thought they would have turned the air defence radars off, but nope, they keep on spinning.

On full search it would damage electrical systems up to 5 miles away.
