After changing someones network hardware around, although I didn't do exactly what you did, your video helped me realize that I had to configure the FTP for 192.168.0.2 !! Rather than 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.100. Thanks!

PROBLEM: I had to re-install the latest version of Norton 360, and I don't believe I have the port forwarding set right. I can access site locally, but not from WAN.

So I added a new inbound rule under firewall and set the all ports on, then it works without disabling the firewall, though I don't know what the problem is. Maybe it is because the port number of TCP is different under Linux?

Evan Theis -> The new user account that you made, it should be made local (Without microsoft account). - -> Firewall must be checked for 'Turned off' state. -> You should check whether you have enabled FTP in the administrative tools and checked the PUBLIC box also. -> See if it helps.(second user should be LOCAL -without the sign in microsoft account)

I'm not sure why the local ip and sign in works just fine, and this doesn't. It has to be something with the port forwarding, but I've enabled. Is there anything I'm missing anything would be helpful

That depends on your router. Standard is often admin (so username admin and password admin). Try to search for the documentation of your router.

Won't allow acess once windows firewall is on. Works oerfectly if firewall is off.

good job.. about the windows firewall it will need to be disabled to work but i did installed zonealarm firewall and it work great.

If you're on a LAN there will be no problem since LAN is an applicative protocol, you can transfer files also through Android ;)
