If you dont have a animal companion, turn yourself into your own animal companion.
    Thats what gramps always say.
Give her a ability to turn into a falcon

She's so cute!!! I wanted Racoon stripes so bad as a kid. I thought they were awesome. And the chunky boots look like Demonias which matches the aesthetic so well 😍😍. And her bird at the end is so cute, I kinda thought it was supposed to be like an animal form at first. I can so see her having an itch and scratching the hell out of herself without thinking about it 😂😂

you're the second person to mention making them have animal forms and I really a big fan of this concept!! ALSO HOW COULD I HAVE FORGOTTEN ABOUT DEMONIAS, my brain was like "only converse that's it there's nothing else"

Okay but Megrez's original design with the eagle is very fun. But of course I like the "big strong independent women" XDD
Yes I do also have a vastly different interpretation of that now but we can always appreciate a good old Katniss Everdeen adjacent character XD
Also I have to say, this sketch turned out so so fun so quickly!
Her hair looks very fluffy and yes it does have more modern energy but I know nothing about scene. Although it would be very fun to try and capture that aesthetic in my own way.
For all my love of accurate practical armour/ historical armour I respect and appreciate the decision to choose design over reality/ practicality etc.
Why should we limit our art, our creations to the stiff rules of reality when everything else already has to follow those?
Plus assuming I'd most likely die either way on a battle field, I would want to look fabulous doing so. Maybe flashy colours and flowing fabrics confuse the enemy so much they don't know if I'm real or the manifestation of some holy being XD
On a more serious note these big boots look great! They definitely bring that specific look and vibe across (and as a Splatoon enjoyer I generally just like the "big boots aesthetic").
I have made up three different magical metals for me and my girlfriend's fantasy world (it really does need a name) if I remember correctly.
Everyone thinks she's trying to be fashionable but she can't put in her tights! That's amazing XDD
Also I would love to speculate more on these characters. Maybe we should start a petition to make our very own little LadySplitChin characters wiki.
I'm fortunate as in not having to resent my striving for creativity and creating. Although I'm also painfully aware that I cannot imagine doing anything that isn't creative in some way as a long-term job. It's nothing I dislike just a fact I have to face. At least that's how I mostly see it.
Growing as an artist isn't only improving skill and gathering knowledge as most things it's part of growing as a person. I have always liked to see people growing because of their art or in correlation with it. I like to think that creating and being able to share your thoughts and feelings through that helps us grow as people.
Back to this character. I'm in love with the white outline on the eye! I remember doing that for the "inverted art style" challenge a few years back (basically the same as the newer "evil art style" challenge). It just looks so cool and really makes it pop and the eye stand out more!
Also their little pet drawing is accepted and loved! I'm glad I don't have to mourn the disappearance of their bird friend. A great addition if you ask me.
I do think that this could be what happens when you mix stars (sci-fi) and fantasy with scene so I call it a win regardless! Plus the hidden pan gradient on the armour is just really pleasing to look at especially paired with the colourful halo.
(In retrospect this outro is quite comedic)

There is always a special place in our hearts for the Katniss Everdeen era of fictional women, they were crucial to who we are today.
I LOVE that idea of why should we limit art when everything else already has to follow the rules of reality, that's AMAZING I'm holding onto that one in my back pocket if you don't mind lol.
To think of a LadySplitChin character wiki existing is so funny to me, if it ever did exist watch me use it to fact check myself about my own lore lolol
Such wisdom you've dropped all in this comment-- I am glad that people see my redrawing series for what it is, with the art growth and the personal growth all in combination to be this fun wacky chaos bundle of thoughts and feelings. Plus it just confirms that I have the nicest subscribers/viewers who all understand this growth being the principle behind the whole "redraws" series.
Throwing in the celestial/star/scifi aspect has been a nice way to get away with a lot more creative liberty in this whole random wheel of things!!
(.... in retrospect the outro IS very comedic)

      They are!
I love trying to be accurate or considerate of reality but I see no reason why in art of all things (not only drawing) we should limit ourselves to what we can already do. I think it's a good thing to keep in mind after all we want to have fun and explore other possibilities.
I've been trying to figure out WorldAnvil for that exact reason but a wiki just seems a lot more accessible somehow XD
I'm honoured to know that you find wisdom in my rambling. I've always liked redraws and resigns for that reason as well. It's always really interesting to see how someone's view might have changed and how that reflects itself in the art!
I do like challenges and prompts but I feel like just one idea limits me or rather limitation makes me more creative.

Super fun design today. Definitely impractical aurmor, but more so on the too spikey+coumbersome and it would hurt you more than the opponent end then the unprotective end XD. Still supper fun.
I’ve got some segestions for your wheel idk if any have been suggested before but here we go, ArtDeco , tactical/tec wear, green+purple Colorpallette (like vegetable or eggplant type pallet) & ancient Roman inspired.

Loving the support for the spiky impractical armor and also LOVING the suggestions I'm so excited to get ancient roman on the list that will be fun

@@LadySplitChin glad you like the segestions. When/if you get ancient Roman, keep an eye for the women’s hairstyles they get pretty interesting.
