Best channel on RUclips for pressure washing. You inspired me to get into business. This is my second season and I can’t believe the success I’ve had! Thanks Mike. God bless you! 😊
Mike, you truly brightened my day with this one. This is my favorite video thus far from you. Your words hit me directly in the chest! it has been a tough tough July for me, i am grinding for anything i can get. God's honest truth, this one brought a tear to my eye. God Bless You Mike, and thank you for your constant encouragement
@@WeberPowerWashing You know I’m your biggest fan. I mean that. For whatever reason, I’m drawn to you and your journey. I just can’t believe it’s for nothing. Big things are in your future.
Very encouraging man. I figured for our first year, our July would be dead in the water, but we're still getting business. So I'm not complaining at all. God continues to bless our business, and we're thankful.
Great video, Mike. You never cease to amaze me... Plugging a SESW product after the ordeal from earlier this year. You truly are a good guy! BTW, I have used their wood product a few times and was pleased with the results. Great work and thanks for sharing your work with us!
Ox acid would be better to brighten…just apply, let sit for 5 minutes or so then rinse like crazy. That will neutralize the SH in and on the wood. The SM you used needs to be rinsed thoroughly, you don’t want that to be left on or dried….just a heads up. Love your channel!
That’s awesome. How did you guys structure your relationship with the roofer? To me it seems, roofers want to sell a new roof not preserve them. What can we as washer provide for them and vice versa.
@@masonsindelar2793 It’s very cut and dry. I try to get him repair or replace jobs, and he will try to get me washing jobs. We get a cut of whatever is sold. Basically commission
@@TheFreshRinse thanks Mike. do you mind me asking what that percentage may be? I don’t think any roofer is going to pay 10% commission on a 20k job. I could be wrong though.
But RUclips University said that I can make $1000/hr and work 2 days a week and all I need to do is buy a $25k rig and quoting software... Haha I wish more veteran guys talked about the the ugly side of the business. The uncertainty and ebb and flow of the business. Don't get me started on my, "When good jobs go bad" rant. I think the first few years of business you have to give up on the concept of work/life balance because until you are established and a recognized name it's a grind and you have to out hustle the competition, after-all 12 hours is just a "Half Day". 😁 Just my 2 cents. Great video Mike
@@aroundthebendpressurewashing Because my videos are pretty much off-the-cuff, I almost always look back and say “I wish I had said…”. I agree, there’s so much more to say.
Hey Mike from year one of you hitting the boot work ....& door to door... About what year did you see results of flooded calls & work...? In other words what year did you start booming. year 3, 4, or 5?
I'd argue that "until your small business pays you to take time off", you have a job. You are your own boss in many ways, but it's a job if you're doing the work.
I have a question, and I apologize as it is not in regards to the main point of this video. When it comes to decks, like the one in your video, is that work and the chemical you used included as part of the house wash, or was some of that work additional? The reason I ask is that I am struggling with washing decks right now and including them as part of the house wash. As you all know some are a breeze and some I come up to are solid black and when they do not come clean as new by just using sh along with the house wash some people are getting mad. I always try to set expectations when I get to a house, but I am curious what everyone else is doing as a deck alone, if in rough shape, could tie up 30 minutes to an hour of time if in bad shape.
@@RickHamilton-nk5pi I think I mentioned in the video (I could be wrong) that this was an upsell. Actually, it was a request. Regardless, it is not included in the cost of the house. Great question.
I think it's because the concentration of SH you spray on the roof is below 5%. Some roofs should have the lichens and moss cleaned off first, and then spray SH for better results.
Got a roof wash from a well known company. (Like a good neighbor) Went in told them the roof was dirty and could be cleaned.. the owner told me they tried to clean it but it looked the same…I closed the job
@@TheFreshRinse I figured it was pretty low, so you think a solid 1% would be too much? Still learning about ratios. I have a down steam injector 10:1, currently using 10% SH. What are your opinions on that?
How to get 5 houses in a day….work in a rural area like Joe and Mike with low competition. I never saw another pressure washing guy either now there are 8 within 5 miles.
