this version was played at my moms funeral....she loved it...when the chaplin was done with the service they put this song on and all of us kids stood up and sang it...it wasnt planned but it was beautiful...m\y mom was a strong woman...she was a lady with grace and love for everyone..spent her last two days on earth comforting us and making sure that we were ok...I miss you mom
On that Blessed Day of all blessed days, we the saints of God will see our BELOVED, HOLY, TENDER HEARTED, LOVING, ALMIGHTY SAVIOR, the LORD Jesus Christ! May that Day be soon! Maranatha!
How nice to know of that blessed assurance of Jesus and redemption. When I go, I know where I am going. That solves all the real issues of apprehension that my mortal mind can conjor up. I pray I can flap my arms and sing this song some day soon when GOD tells me my time here is short and I will soon be a " Full Time " resident of heaven. My real country of residence.:)
This song was chosen to be in our worship set today at church. We found out after the song was already chosen that one of the members of our congregation had passed away earlier this week. This song took on a whole new meaning for us today.
i just get the most peace-ful, happiest feeling inside of me when i hear this song :) i literally feel like i can just let all my worries go, and fly away :D
A good friend of mine passed away 5 years ago on Nov. 12...He overdosed on heroin and the person he was with kicked him out of his car and left him to die. Please don't judge he was an addict but a very good hearted person, not your typical junkie...Heroin is one of the most evil products of this world. This was his favorite gospel song. Some family members sang this at his funeral. I think about him alot especially when I hear this song.
