Many people do not even know what harmony is. It is rare to hear these days. I love listening to you. You are all gifted. Yep, they were doing that in the US, as young kids, while we here, down under, were still singing "Down yonder green valley where streamlets meander..." from the Ash Grove song. The minute a couple of we primary school kids started harmonizing...we were told off...so staid and pedestrian music was the format then. It was so old fashioned, even in the sixties....then in 3rd year of high school, we got a new music teacher who played guitar...wow. Australian public schools (to those overseas, public schools are government schools).Our schools were very conservative. Harmonies were out of the question, before the new teacher.

It WILL come back like trends do. Everley brothers...superb. Mc Calmans...superb. Barbershop...superb. A lot of people cannot do the art. I listen to a lot of German Blassmusik whereas it is all sung in harmony. It is this aspect that touches my musical vibes, emotions and so forth that when sung beautifully enough my eyes fill up and then stream. I guess music is that powerful. Thanks fer yer input mate. Then they replay the audio recording while filming themselves acting like they are playing live around a condenser mic. Then they splice edit the video and replace they audio with the recording. Its a common technique used these days on RUclips vids. I'm just against it. Because I would have rather seen them do it for real. Its basically a music video. Who knows what sort of manipulation was done during the sound production>? Could have been other people playing some of the parts, autotune, editing out mistakes, most certainly tracks were recorded separately. This is why the sound quality is so high. I picked up on it in the first minute.
