Ok. I can't. This is just too beautiful. Like not only this is fucking original and interesting because nobody ever talk's about Balto's past but it was also beautifully brought to life. Like the color changes are too perfect. Most of times one can't even tell it was actually edited and not original parts of the movie. And those maskings alsndjsksnsk. Like the one when Kodi is there and she's giving birth is just so cute and so perfect like that manip ugh. FULL BODY MASKS ARE IMPOSSIBLE HOW YOU DO IT. Anyways I love this. Thank you for this.
Wow this like broke my heart! Balto has such an interesting back story which they give so little detail on! They really should have done a movie about how his mother met his father and he ended up with Boris! Would have been a interesting prequel! Ahhh, but you did so well making it happen her, I bet doing all that masking and recoloring was a hell of a lot of work! o.o The things we do for videos like these! haha! Its all worth it though because this came out spectacular and again totally broke my heart, especially when Aniu had to leave Balto at the end. So sad. :(
DFPUR Aaaah I never got a chance to reply to this. Apologies! I know, I would have much preferred a prequel about Balto's origins than the two sequels we got. I feel like a more interesting story gives all those involves more of an incentive to do better, and this is honestly the most I've ever used the two Balto sequels because I hate them so much. Well, I actually somewhat like the third, if you don't compare it to the first. I still detest the second (although I respect people's opinions if they happen to like it). Yes the recoloring almost killed me haha. Surprisingly, Kodi was really easy to work with because the red of his coat stood out against the background but Aleu was such a pain in the butt because she had two different coat colors (and sometimes three because apparently the animators couldn't decide whether her ears were a different color or not xD). Thank you so much, though! I know it was sad :c But I wanted it to come full circle and explain how she became his spirit guide and such, heh. Thanks again
Yeah, exactly. I actually watched the show, and it wasn't too bad. The animation style is a bit lower quality, but I think that it's as close as possible with the low budget they have, and I'm pretty sure the main characters have the same voice actors so that's nice. Most of the episodes are pretty interesting, in my opinion. And I believe there's even one or two that foreshadow Toothless's glowing ability in the second movie towards the end (and hence why I wasn't surprised by it when it happened). But yeah, I'd definitely give the series a shot. It's pretty good, all things considered. c:
the saddest part about this video is when Aniu has to leave her mate in order to keep him safe & when she leaves Balto with Boris. it's really sad because wolves mate for life & I could imagine that being heart wrenching on them.

I'm actually really glad you did a video on Aniu's back story because I've seen so many & not many of them were this heartbreaking, you know? I mean, when she died & you showed her as a ghost I just about cried.. anyway you did a very beautiful job on this :3. & I'm gonna say I love your videos c:

I really enjoyed the love story between Aniu and her mate, it's a shame there isn't a lot of screen time for Aniu I'd love to make a similar story.
