- Is it cancer? A couple months ago, I had my yearly breast MRI. A small spot lit up on that scan, so this MRI guided biopsy appointment was set up so we could get an update on the spot in question.

Never say sorry for being a tired cancer patient! We are fighting a war internally and mentally. I totally enjoy your videos.
For real though haha. Thanks for watching :)
So happy they didn’t need to do the biopsy!! I’m always dead tired after being at the hospital all day for appts. I had an ER doc freaked out not too long ago because they couldn’t believe that I hit my lifetime CT recommendation years ago. I had to explain that my team said that my GI failure will most likely cause a life threatening problem that would kill me if we didn’t CT as often as we do, long before radiation is a concern. You are so brave! I’ve been living in hospitals since I was a teenager and I can’t handle any procedure without sedation because of severe medical ptsd and anxiety. I wouldn’t have tolerated the biopsy. You have every right to be tired, we all understand if you’re not super up beat 24/7. I will keep praying for good scan results! I have to meet the first doc from my new team in a few weeks and I’m nervous!
You definitely understand then haha. I hate being in hospitals. Hope meeting the new doctor goes well!
You're much braver than I am. Good news and all the best.
Dear Samantha. What a great news. Very pleased for you.
So great! Thanks :)
You're a real inspiration, I wish you all the best for your life!
My mom got diagnosed with stage 3 her2 positive breast cancer for the 2nd time (after 12 years) in april and your videos help me to maintain a positive outlook for my mom's future!
Hugs from Austria 🇦🇹
Thank you! Hope your mom is doing ok and defeats cancer again :)
Dear Samantha,
Happy great news! I've had the guided needle biopsy. After the numbing injection not at all painful.
The wait for results terrifies me. I'm finally having my double radical mastectomy on August 31st. Forgive me if I already told you.
I greatly admire you, so young in years but very wise. I get sick from the MRI'S, CT'S and PET SCANS too.
Cramping and daily stomach ache. I guess I'm not the only one. I wish you a long life and the end of monster cancer. 💞
Thank you! I agree it’s not painful, but my surgeon always says that if I start to feel anything she can give me more of the numbing stuff. I’m so glad you found out the date of the mastectomy! I hope the surgery goes well for you

💞🙏💜
Great news Samantha! Hope you’ve been sleeping better since you’re done with the scan now 💜💜
I have been :)
Awesome news Samantha! Sorry to hear about you feeling ill and your hot flashes. I have them too (hate em hate em hate em!!) I bought this little fan to wear around my neck which really looks like a set of Apple earphones and it is awesome. I wear it on bad days/ nights and just turn it on when I get a flash and it gives me instant relief. It has 3 settings too. Got it on Amazon. Nothing else helps me so think about that. I like that it looks like ear phones so no one knows it is a fan.
I live in Canada (Ontario) and we wear masks everywhere in the hospitals (during chemo and radiation as well) and my husband is never allowed in with me. We also wear them in stores and in restaurants unless we are seated. Wearing them outdoors is optional on the streets. A lot of people still wear them. Try to get some fresh air and rest and feel better soon💪
Thanks! The fans for hot flashes is a neat idea! I might have to check that out :)
Hi Samantha! Great news , have a good rest now you deserve it. Love and hugs x❤️🇬🇧
Thank you!
So relieved and happy for you. I went through the same thing recently where it ended up not being cancer but a little scaring on my lung from breast radiation. Love the warm blankets part. :)
Glad it ended up ok for you too! Warm blankets are the best :)
Positive vibes coming your way. I hope you feel better soon.❤️💖💞💝💕🙋♀️
Thank you!
So happy you got good results 😄positive outlook for U Samantha ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks, I’m happy too!
Hey 👋 I’m a fellow stage 4er, great to catch up on your videos 😊. Thank you for being so honest 💕
Hello! Thanks for watching!
Well done Samantha and thank you for your update. I am pleased everything went smoothly but am sorry you are struggling with the side effects of treatment. That sounds really tough for you.
In the UK restrictions have been lifted but many of us still wear masks when out as a precaution. Love and prayers xx
Thanks for watching, and for the info on the UK. I think it’s interesting to hear about the situation in other places
Whoop Whoop . Wonderful news for you . Always praying for you :)
Thank you
I wear my mask everywhere indoors. I'm in Florida and cases are crazy here. I'm so happy for you!! Hope you feel better soon girlie!!! 💕
I heard it was getting bad in Florida. Hope it calms down soon!
@@SamanthaL I I’ve in Florida and the virus is getting worse everyday. The governor here is the problem, no restrictions or mandates and fining businesses who require proof of vaccinated people to enter...very immorally wrong! I wish you good health and happiness always, sweetie! 👍🥰🌺🌹
@@SamanthaL I'm in FL, and the data show the cases here are going DOWN, big time! The Marxist media is reporting otherwise, however....and we residents of FL LOVE Gov. DeSantis, who took the initiative to set up free-of-charge Regeneron mobile clinics in many FL cities, where everyone with early-stage Covid is welcome to receive monoclonal antibody treatment. This has brought down Covid hospitalizations and deaths in a major way! Congrats on not having to have the breast biopsy. (I had one many years ago, and refuse to ever have another, lol.)
@@commonsense6967 true. The people who say it is bad here are lying.
Happy everything looks ok to the docs. Keep the faith. 🥰🥰🙏🙏
Me too!
Glad you didn’t have to get the biopsy and had a good MRI. That was a relief for you. Sorry you weren’t feeling well afterwards. I get my next PET Scan this Thursday so I get the scanxiety for sure.
Linda Craig
As they used to say, been there, done that. My biopsy was positive for cancer. Frightening news. Now I'm living in the land of denial. Deep down I know the reality of cancer.
I wish you the best as I go down the same road.
Thanks, I’m glad too :) I hope your PET scan goes well and to get good results
@@SamanthaL Thank you, me too. You know the feelings as well.
You’re amazing and keeping up us involved throughout this journey is inspirational 🙏🙌❤️Here in Melbourne Australia 🇦🇺 it’s mandatory to wear a mask other than in your home. 😷most of the country is in lockdown we just came out of lockdown last weekend. Kinda used to the crazy situation 😄💚💛
Thank you! Hope the situation in Australia calms down a bit for you
Great news! You need Rest and Relaxation, pamper yourself!
Last weekend was great for that :)
I am glad it turned out well for you. I will pray that you feel better soon.
Thank you
We still have to wear our masks here in the UK even if we are vaccinated XX glad to hear you have some good news
I’m glad too :)
I'm in remission too. Glad to see you getting healthy
Thanks, glad you’re also in remission
I’m in Colorado and I still wear a mask inside everywhere even though I’m vaccinated. It’s not mandatory but I was confused why people stopped wearing them.
Sandra Dore
Yes! I'm in Southern California. Los Angeles County. Again it's mandatory to wear a mask. I never stopped. I go to the market and I'm amazed at all the shoppers w/o their mask. Management doesn't say anything to them. Why is it mandatory in my county but not 12 miles away?? In fact why is it not mandatory for the entire country??
I don't understand politics and law in America anymore. Very sad that people don't follow rules!
In Ireland we’re still wearing masks, even if vaccinated.
So so Happy to Hear you’re news! ♥️
I’m in the US (Colorado) and I do too
Thank you!
Keep us updated and been praying hun hope you feel better. I live in Gay, ga and I am vaccinated but still wear mask because I have heartfailure and because I have had covid 2 times and was in hospital and do not want to repeat.
That makes sense, so sorry you had to go through that
Praying for you
We have to wear mask also just in the healthcare institutions (Hungary, Central Europe). More tests are way better than ignoring a suspicious sign...❤️
Very true :)
Hi again I hope you're okay ....you look good lots of cheers still from Melbourne with love 🌻🌻🌻💐
Thanks!
Thank you for sharing your content!! Prayers for you!! 🙏❤️🎀
Thanks
So happy all looked good.
Me too!!
We're still required to wear masks here in Trinidad & Tobago, even if vaccinated. I'm so happy for your good news🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thanks!!
In Belgium you have to wear mask when entering in any public venue: inside of restaurant or caffee, shops, coworking spaces...if you get seated there you can take it off. In cinemas, theatres, hospitals, public transport you have to wear mask all the time. Also you need to wear mask in very crowded streets like shopping streets.
Thanks for sharing :)
@@SamanthaL :)
I’m in Toowoomba in regional Queensland, Australia. Most of the regions around us here in the South East are in lockdown but so far we have managed to escape the delta variant so you only have to wear a mask if you’ve been in one of the hotspots. Hope you catch up on sleep. Scanxiety is the worst!
Glad you are doing well there!
I had my ever first MRI today, I have nausea and a headache and both of my breast are in excruciating pain from lying my breast down through that capsule thing, I already have alot of swelling to start with.
I am absolutely exhausted now
Ugh that sucks. Hope you feel better soon and the results are good!
We are wearing masks and still have to go to hospital on your own even last week when my pregnant daughter wasn’t allowed to take partner in despite her bleeding heavily so here in uk we seem to be ultra cautious! Glad for the good news I can imagine how relieved you both were
It used to be like that here too, but we can usually bring in one person now. It always made me mad when they wouldn’t let you go with someone, so I feel bad for your daughter
Just found out the hard way what being "immunocompromised" is all about. I went out last Sunday night, and spent Wednesday until this morning in hospital. I really don't want to continue this journey. 😕
Hope you feel better soon
@@SamanthaLAwe. Now I feel silly for complaining. Thank you. HNY.
Praying for you Samantha. God loves you. Jesus died for you. Stay strong!
Thank you!
Hi Samantha, also how are you doing with the fissure(s), if you have mentioned that already I apologize as I am catching up now!
They are still there :/ I’ll be posting an update video at some point
Hello samantha am in uk and we dont have to wear masks in shops are out and about .sending you a big hug i know how you feel haveing tests done and waiting for result gets me so fedup too .i also get fedup of explaining to friends and family about my tests not that i dont love them i love them to bits i just hate to think them worrying .i have my date for my scan its on 28 August i will let you know how i am .i just get fedup of waiting for tests and results xxxx💖😊💖xxxx
Exactly, waiting is the worst! Hope your August scan goes well
Congratulstions! Germany. We are wearing masks still. But we never had to wear masks outside exept a few streets in the middle of the city.
Thank you, and thanks for sharing :)
In the UK we don’t have to wear masks by law anymore but lots of places ask you to wear them still
Makes sense, thanks for sharing :)
Congrats on the good MRI! One less thing to worry about. 💕
Here in Wales masks are still compulsory everywhere public and I’m glad they are! Cases are lower here than in England thankfully.
Thank you! Glad things are well in Wales
Still wearing masks here in Canada, it's "suggested" but some places still requiring it. I have heart condition so I have kept wearing the mask for my safety!
Makes sense, thanks for sharing
@@SamanthaL keep on smiling Sam. You will kick a$$!!!
In los angeles still wearing masks indoors (grocery store, office, etc.) Which I like being in chemo and having a weekened immune system.
Makes sense, means you don’t stand out as much :)
Everywhere indoors, both in Spain and Germany (where I currently live).
Thanks for sharing
In Brazil we are doing horribly at vaccination so we wear masks everywhere. We are doing a pretty good job at giving everyone the first dose, but... It's a 3-month wait for the second one! Yayy! Unless it's Sinovac's one, this is 28 max. Even tho Astrazeneca and Pfizer said "21 days is the best!!!!!!", we are still doing it at 12 weeks because they want to give us the illusion of a fast vaccination schedule, so... 🤷🏻♀️. I'm afraid we might not have enough doses for the second shots, but I also can't miss my dose (next saturday), or else it will be weeks til I get another chance 🙃 very interesting spot where we are at! I'll wear masks til we are covid free, but it depends on the entire world's vaccination, and most countries didn't have the money to buy it, so it'll take a while I guess
Sorry to hear that. The vaccines we have here are still pretty effective after only one dose so hopefully that’s the same for you
I live in Ontario, Canada. We still have mask mandates in place for all public places regardless of vaccination status and I don't see it changing any time soon. It makes me feel safer and I have found several benefits to wearing a mask beyond covid spread prevention: not having to wear make up on half my face (no lipstick!), not having to smell anything funny and not having to whiten my teeth or worry what my teeth/mouth look like at all!
Not having to smell anything funny is definitely a plus!
I live in NZ. We only have to wear masks on planes. I've not been on a plane since the pandemic started so have never had to wear a mask.
Makes sense, we have to wear them on planes too
@@SamanthaL yeah, it might be different if we had an outbreak. We had one in April 2020 but nobody was recommending masks then. Just hand sanitizer. I remember it was impossible to buy any for like 2 weeks. That and toilet roll was all sold out. Strange times.
💓💓
We wear masks in medical facilities in Saskatchewan, Canada:)
Thanks for sharing :)
We still wear masks in hospital, in trains, and all places you can’t stay 6 feet apart. The Netherlands
Thanks for sharing
Are mandatory here in Quebec , even if you are vaccinated
Mask

Did your mom pick out that pillow?
Yes, every throw pillow I have
🇨🇦 we still wear our masks here on the east coast, and that is ok by me 👍
Hope you’re doing well in Canada!
@@SamanthaL Yes it’s not bad here at all, 🇨🇦♥️🇨🇦

I hatehatehate waiting the weekend for reports😣
It’s the worst!

Hi from Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. I'm vaccinated however everyone in Victoria, including those vaccinated, currently have to wear masks inside and outside. Take care:-)
Interesting, thanks for the info :)
Masks worn in Shops and inside most public buildings
We haven't really warn masks at all in New Zealand. In one of our main cities we have a rule to wear a mask on public transport but aside from that, no where else.
