I use to make my cards years ago. Still have some stamps. Just might start again. You make this look so easy. I might just have a card making day with my granddaughter. Thank you!
This was a good tutorial. I like the additional silver along the edge of the card. I had read once that you could only use designs that were intended for cardstock, but this opens up lots of possibilities. Thank you again for your clear instructions.
A lot depends on how many times it stitches in the same place and if there are lots of tight turns in the design as it is likely to tear the card as the stitches will be close together and perforate it. The best way I have found is to try the design you fancy but stitch slowly. I use wash away as I find it helps to keep the card from tearing but you can use cut away too it doesnt really matter. Give it a try.
You're welcome Mary. Thats an excellent idea and kids would love to make and colour them in. It would make for a very special keepsake card from them wouldn't it? Thanks for watching.
Thanks for this video. Lovely simple card which makes up quickly. What brand of metallic thread are you using? I use KingStar and thread it in the normal way with no problems but your way is such a clever idea if one has problems with the thread. I need to get stitching! Stay well and safe in this awful time. Lets hope 2021 brings better times.
Hi Maggie, thank you for watching. I use Simthread metallic thread it is fabulous and not wirey like most, it feels the same as ordinary thread and stitches like a dream.
Hi Lisa I don't understand what you mean by how my thread is placed besides which I cannot change the content of this video. Let me know what you mean and I might be able to put it in another video if appropriate.

Go for it, its better than letting your stamps sit around drying. Enjoy your special creative time with your Granddaughter. Happy stitching.

What did you put behind the stitched card over the bobbin thread before you attached it to the red card? Great tutorial. Thanks 😊
Hi Christina thank you. I used score tape or double sided sticky tape depending on which country you are from. Thanks for watching.
