Do you really love the electron gear? Never tried em. Always have gear problems with my warbirds. Robart, other junk that comes with some ARFs. Will try electron. Website looks great. Not sure what to do about the tailwheel. Their steerable unit looks like its for a nose gear.
Absolutely love Electron Gear! We use them on a majority of Turbine Jets so when they make a set for a warbird like this Strega it's a NO Brainer! They are beautifully engineered gear!

Thanks Christopher. If you check out the CARF Models Website you can find the specs there. The landing gear and legs were also purchased from CARF and more specifically the gear is from Electron.
Have you seen the IDS servo mounting systems from servo Rahman? I have been using them on my high performance gliders for the last few years. Zero slop very high precision and it means you have no external linkages.
Still lots of fins exposed. MKS 9930's don't generate as much heat as some other servos we have used. Most heat would be generated with something like a 3D aerobatic plane. Jet or warbird barely any movement.
I suppose it's mainly because I have not set up a jeti assist receiver yet. So saying that the cotex is easy and works great doesn't mean much as the Assist may be just as easy and simple to setup but I have zero knowledge with the Assist.
Hit me up when u r ready 2 fly the Beast . Not 2 sure about the colour scheme ? An Aluminium Look would have been more fitting. Other than that as its a personal choice. Gr8 Job so far . Robert 🇦🇺 Australia 🇦🇺

For Sure. Used them on the MIBO Glider and they were very slick!
Looking for the video with the inner gear door servo setup my linear servos are not working out...

The tail section is so thin that there is no other way to mount it. Gear door servos have 22lbs of force. Should be plenty.
