I work at a barn and the owners take care of a feral cat community and when I come in in the morning, they all cry very dramatically until they are fed. Their food is just set out all day, and if you heard them you would thing that they hadn't been fed in days. The food has only actually been empty once when I came to feed them.
Panic! ᖴᗩᑎ It probably took awhile to drive, and adults are really busy, so it would be hard to even find a time where their schedules meet, so it would be a pain, so it is a wonder that all the other humans actually went.
I mean not really. If all of these people adopted cats from the same adoption most likely they are cat lovers. They probably went to them pushing the idea of getting a message out about adopting cats. It's also highly likely that they were paid for this. Devin obviously could work around their schedule and it really wouldn't be that hard to work around only three other peoples schedules. If someone contacted me about introducing my cat to her siblings I would possibly do it just out of curiosity and if they offered money I would definitely do it.
The sibling bond is more easily broken when they are kittens. I have reunited mother and son after like 8 years, they absolutely recognized eachother. It depends more on the age when the cats were separated and the relationship they had between the. I have seen cats that were brothers and lived together over 5 years, then went to separate homes when their people got divorced. A few years later got to both live with eachother again and it was like no time had passed. My two cats were not related at all, just lived together 10 years. When the older one died, my little girl started this heartbreaking thing where she will stand in the spot where he used to sleep and call him. She did that for over 2 years after he passed, clearly she remembers him and is looking for him.
wryonlife this comment made me cry 💔 . It is so true, my mom’s cat saw her daughter like a year after not seeing’s her and she recognized her immediately... the daughter passed away like a year later and she was so heartbroken (they were living together that year) 😭
Some people might think this is crazy but if I found the siblings of my cats you know there would be a reunion. And yes, my boys would wear bowties and be dapper AF.

One of my cats, all of her siblings are most likely in Florida so there's little chance of a reunion there. The only other cat I know if a sibling for, their sibling is most likely dead. I wish I could have taken them both, but I couldn't.
I'm kind of like.. Why? What's the point? They're cats, not humans, what did they expect? Hugs and tears and kisses? Like, people these days are so crazy when it comes to pets.. They're animals, not babies separated at childhood.. Heck not even people care if they were separated early enough... This is bonkers xD
I remember the day I got both of my cats just like it was yesterday. The oldest who’s name is tinker bell I found her in an alleyway and she happily came to me after I gave her some ham, and then my second cat who’s name is sushi but I call her Tu, anyways she was born in my backyard along with 3 others and the moment I looked at her I fell in love. I took care of all of them and over time the other three cats found a nice home, once it was just Tu I took her in she was still a small kitten but she would play with tinker bell and sleep with her. Now they are both so grown and beautiful. I love them both so much. ❤️

Yeah never go to a shelter with the idea of "oh I'm just going to look" you will end up with a pet. I know this from experience, I have 2 cats after a "let's go to the shelter just to look." 😹😹
I work in a shelter and it's such a struggle not to take any home! Literally the only two things stopping me is the fact I live with my parents (who are not keen on another cat) and the fact my fur daughter is happy to be an only child. Otherwise, I'd have at least five cats by now!
I convinced my dad to take me to the shelter when I was 13 to make a donation, which we did... and also came home with a dog. Then, around my 20th birthday I decided to wander around a local shelter one afternoon in my college town, and my kitten was home with me by the end of the week!
I regretfully separated my cat from his brother at a shelter, and I wish I could at least see what he looks like now that he’s all grown up. So if anyone adopted an orange & white tabby named Willard in 2016 lmk haha

I had a cat called Tank, he has since passed :(, but he got lost and a shelter found him and we had to readopt our own cat. She also told us that he couldn't be separated from Dusty bc they were best friends since they shared a cage so we adopted Dusty too. We got back and they did not care for each other at all and dislike each other😂

Love this video! I have 4 cats, 2 biological sisters & 2 biological brothers, at a wedding a few years ago I got to talking with the Mom of the Groom and it turned out she rescued our boys Mom & found our boys when they were babies! She showed me pictures of the newborn boys & I showed her them all grown up, they still have the Mom cat & we've never attempted an introduction (they moved away shortly after the wedding), but it was so special to have that connection, know where our baby boys came from & see their gorgeous Mommy cat. I love animal stories!

We adopted two cat brothers last year!!! They had lived together their whole lives, then when they were 6 their owner had to give them up because of health reasons. We adopted them from the SPCA. They are a bonded pair and spend all their time together, play together, wrestle, their connection is awesome. They are both tabby & white colored.
I have had my cat for 16 years. Since I was 15. We adopted him and his sister and sadly his sister passed away 2 years ago. But my Ragamuffin is still as active as a kitten!
My cat Max is 16 and my other cat who was his "step-sister" (they weren't related but treated each other like brother and sister) and was called Chloe passed away three years ago at 17. She would now be 20. X
I LOVE THIS IDEA! I have two adopted babies myself who came from the same shelter, two years apart (same month born) and look almost identical. I always feel they could be from maybe the same parents due to their looks. What's crazy is at first they weren't too loving to eachother but now after 6 months my oldest treats her sister like her baby. ♡♡♡
Aww loved it! my doggie had a reunion with her sister. To my surprise my girl was twice the size of her sis. I think they recognized each other. Sad thing is both still have the same skiddish traits from having been in the shelter. Shelter dogs are still the best!
I love that when you see videos like this of dogs being reunited, they remember each other and play together. Cats are legit just independent mfs as soon as they come out and block out their past.
My two cats are brothers😄. They were abandoned and left on a road by my friends farm during a storm. I am so grateful they found them in time. We gladly took them off their hands, and they now live a happy healthy life... and they get to be very chubby 🐱🐈
Awwww. I have two cats (brothers). They were the only ones in their moms last litter because she was old. She died soon after and they lived in a barn together. We adopted them both and so they know that they’re related. Sometimes they fight but ultimately, they love each other.
I know not a lot of people will se this but I have to say it: This video reminds my of when I adopted my cat, Vern. He had a brother named Dash. We couldn't adopt two of them because of allergies, and they had to be separated. It was so sad, because Dash got adopted by someone else a few months later :(. This video was just so cute and heart warming. Oh yeah, and the cats in the video look EXACTLY like my cat. Just FYI
This actually reminded me of something I learned in one of my animal science classes! Because cats can look very similar to each other, they don’t really rely on apparence to recognize each other, only smell, and since these guys now live in completely different homes and smell different, they probably never realized they were all brothers, and that’s why they just acted like any cats meeting for the first time.

I have 2 cats, and one of them is 11 year old lady, Missan(pretty much the same thing as naming a cat Kitty). I got her when she was 8. I "sort of" saved her. Her previous owners have 3 dogs, and Missan don't like dogs... Once the previous was taking care of 2 other dogs(for a friend), Missan had enought and started to pee on the furnitures. But since the cat was healthy, they didn't want to put her down, and looked for a new home for her. My mom told me about it, and I ended up as her new cat mama
If you truly have a passion for cats they are automatically comfortable around you. You have to be a gentle loving person. They can sense it However some cats are partly feral, abused or neglected so they don't let humans near them. Find a loving cat
That's great advice actually. My gran had cats when i was coming up and i never had an issue, i took in a stray and it was the scariest 24 hours of my life. Maybe when my daughter asks for one i'll get one. Thanks Laura!
Our first cat lived next to her mother for most of her life. A year after we got her we moved houses and ended up next door neighbors to the people who owned her mom. I don’t remember any problems between the two (I was also little when we moved next door to each other). They’d often lay together and would use the cat doors to the other’s house. But because it had only been a year or less they might’ve recognized each other or got along because they were both super chill. So if one family went on vacation their cat would just go to the other house for food (which they sometimes did anyways) They did not however get along with the other neighborhood cats. They had cat fights in the middle of the night outside my and my sisters window (often 2 on 1)
My cat hates her sister. I have one siamese and my sister adopted her sister. They hiss at each other and dont get along much. But they sure are cute 😂🤷♀️
Cute cats. I have a kitten who looks like Mars. I rescue cats, and I've tried similar cat reunions with mine. A few years ago, I took in an injured mama cat and her three feral kits. I tended to the mama, got the kits used to humans, and intended to keep them all. However, as soon as the babies were weaned (at 10.5 weeks), mama was healed and was literally climbing my walls to get away from them, my other cats, and indoor living. I feed her outside now (she's spayed). I've tried twice now to let her live back indoors, but she refused both times. What was interesting is that her three grown kits (as well as all of my other non-related cats) were extremely happy to see her both times, but she was vicious to them all (especially her grown kits) both times.
At 7:15 you can sort of see Mars giving a relaxed "I sort of trust you and mean no harm." signal with his eyes, he wasn't on high alert but he wasn't 100% into it. Within their language they've all sort of said "I'm OK with you being over there." Cats generally care very little for family, but these 3 boys would probably make great friends if they had to live together. None of them seemed aggressive, just assertive of their personal space and boundaries, which is okay.

Mine somehow got her foot stuck under a rocking chair as a kitten and still cried for about a minuet when we got her out.

I LOVE THIS IDEA! I have two adopted babies myself who came from the same shelter, two years apart (same month born) and look almost identical. I always feel they could be from maybe the same parents due to their looks. What's crazy is at first they weren't too loving to eachother but now after 6 months my oldest treats her sister like her baby. ♡♡♡
Aww loved it! my doggie had a reunion with her sister. To my surprise my girl was twice the size of her sis. I think they recognized each other. Sad thing is both still have the same skiddish traits from having been in the shelter. Shelter dogs are still the best!

My two cats are brothers😄. They were abandoned and left on a road by my friends farm during a storm. I am so grateful they found them in time. We gladly took them off their hands, and they now live a happy healthy life... and they get to be very chubby 🐱🐈
Awwww. I have two cats (brothers). They were the only ones in their moms last litter because she was old. She died soon after and they lived in a barn together. We adopted them both and so they know that they’re related. Sometimes they fight but ultimately, they love each other.

I know not a lot of people will se this but I have to say it: This video reminds my of when I adopted my cat, Vern. He had a brother named Dash. We couldn't adopt two of them because of allergies, and they had to be separated. It was so sad, because Dash got adopted by someone else a few months later :(. This video was just so cute and heart warming. Oh yeah, and the cats in the video look EXACTLY like my cat. Just FYI
This actually reminded me of something I learned in one of my animal science classes! Because cats can look very similar to each other, they don’t really rely on apparence to recognize each other, only smell, and since these guys now live in completely different homes and smell different, they probably never realized they were all brothers, and that’s why they just acted like any cats meeting for the first time.

I have 2 cats, and one of them is 11 year old lady, Missan(pretty much the same thing as naming a cat Kitty). I got her when she was 8. I "sort of" saved her. Her previous owners have 3 dogs, and Missan don't like dogs... Once the previous was taking care of 2 other dogs(for a friend), Missan had enought and started to pee on the furnitures. But since the cat was healthy, they didn't want to put her down, and looked for a new home for her. My mom told me about it, and I ended up as her new cat mama

However some cats are partly feral, abused or neglected so they don't let humans near them. Find a loving cat
That's great advice actually. My gran had cats when i was coming up and i never had an issue, i took in a stray and it was the scariest 24 hours of my life. Maybe when my daughter asks for one i'll get one. Thanks Laura!

Our first cat lived next to her mother for most of her life. A year after we got her we moved houses and ended up next door neighbors to the people who owned her mom. I don’t remember any problems between the two (I was also little when we moved next door to each other). They’d often lay together and would use the cat doors to the other’s house. But because it had only been a year or less they might’ve recognized each other or got along because they were both super chill. So if one family went on vacation their cat would just go to the other house for food (which they sometimes did anyways)
They did not however get along with the other neighborhood cats. They had cat fights in the middle of the night outside my and my sisters window (often 2 on 1)

My cat hates her sister. I have one siamese and my sister adopted her sister. They hiss at each other and dont get along much. But they sure are cute 😂🤷♀️

Cute cats. I have a kitten who looks like Mars. I rescue cats, and I've tried similar cat reunions with mine. A few years ago, I took in an injured mama cat and her three feral kits. I tended to the mama, got the kits used to humans, and intended to keep them all. However, as soon as the babies were weaned (at 10.5 weeks), mama was healed and was literally climbing my walls to get away from them, my other cats, and indoor living. I feed her outside now (she's spayed). I've tried twice now to let her live back indoors, but she refused both times. What was interesting is that her three grown kits (as well as all of my other non-related cats) were extremely happy to see her both times, but she was vicious to them all (especially her grown kits) both times.
At 7:15 you can sort of see Mars giving a relaxed "I sort of trust you and mean no harm." signal with his eyes, he wasn't on high alert but he wasn't 100% into it. Within their language they've all sort of said "I'm OK with you being over there."
Cats generally care very little for family, but these 3 boys would probably make great friends if they had to live together. None of them seemed aggressive, just assertive of their personal space and boundaries, which is okay.
