Seeing senna kill hecarim near the end after standing still and dying early game was the comeback story I never knew I needed

Very definition of "guess that champ scales", even though she played incredibly badly. But yeah if the game goes long enough and she gets to farm some waves (and souls), Senna will always do good rightclick damage late in the game.

What really helped Senna was that Hecarim and really their entire team focused their items so much to counter Xerath, that any bit of physical damage made them fall apart.

@@darkthunder3125what actual scripters usually do is they play normally until they start losing and then they use the scripts which explains why they might have bad kda, but even if someone uses a script from the beginning it's unlikely they won't die but their kda is not as bad as you think
I’ve played against people while they’re scripting and they die constantly due to bad positioning and decision making
against a good player, the script will get you killed more often than it saves you.

The fact that most of your team did sufficient damage and still almost lost, is crazy. 4 out of 5 on your team did more than highest, yet they almost got ran over for 70% of the game. Without you, they may have not lasted more than ten minutes
Its just the champs man , really stressful when i play with friends to have fun and all the meta champs will always be so difficult to beat, just because "meta"
@@sonjapunk09 Its not the champs, rest of zwags team had terrible macro and game sense in general. If u want to blame op champs, what about senna, she did that much dmg by being a clueless and standing in bot lane entire game right clicking on whoever comes first on her.
This is a classic indicator of why damage charts aren't good comparisons. Zwag's team had a combined HP of about 13k, whereas the enemy team had a combined hp of about 22k, beyond that irelia and hec have insane in combat healing, so in any given team fight the enemy team is splitting at most 13k, whereas zwag team is splitting 25+. So even when the 4 on zwag's team get wiped, enemy team is looking at 11k damage, while zwag on his own is doing ~4.5k per fight.

@@haydenhenderson19 Well damage charts aren't good comparisons as you can half someone, make them recall, then they come back to lane and you get them 1/4 but they kill you. You've done more damage but they now have a kill and push. The only case where they are useful is high elo and pro play since usually teams will have similar amounts of health and damage as they aren't being drafted by monkeys.

Well they built 3 mr items. Thats like saying its bs that a full armor build tank can ignore a fed ad assassin. If he had a more competent ad teammate that mr stacking would have been punished earlier. Fortunately senna scaled enough that she can delete them by just right clicking

Tanks also couldn’t do anything because she just builds Bork and Armor Pen and melts Tanks. With Lord Dominiks being super op right now
I mean there is a difference between burst mage and DPS, if he had something like cassio for example he would've melt them, but if you gonna play burst champion then don't cry about the enemy countering you with resistances and health. Same goes for ad damage assassins as well.

Shaco boxes fall under the category of pets, which can be affected by blast plants. Some more pets are Zyra plants, Aphelios' sentry, Tibbers, Daisy, and Heimer turrets, to name a few. All can be affected by blast plants.
Only when they’re first placed or after they’re activated. Can’t move them while they’re stealthed.

The box would have vision while shaco was also ok the bush and should have hit hec, once shaco left the bush then the box would have lost vision just like zwag did

This. Nocturne ult turns them off completely as well. The boxes can only hit what they can see. It’s why eve can just walk right over them.
@razgrizfps yep, the boxes activates only if shaco can see the enemy. If nocturne ults, only the boxes that shaco can see will activate the rest of them will be disabled for a while...
@@razgrizfps the same happens whit quinn q, if shaco is nearsighted the boxes outside the vision range doesnt work, shaco vision trigger the boxes, the boxes cant see for itself
nah the box wasnt even in the bush, thats why the it didnt attack hecarim. it didnt have vision of Hecarim since he WAS in the bush.
@Zaddiio my friend, goto the practice tool and check what I say, if shaco don't have vision of the enemy, the box doesn't work, if that bush was warded, that box work

@@Xerath I get that his comment was hostile, but he makes valid points. You have some character flaws Zwag, and I think you'd become a much better person if you worked on them.
Some examples, if you'd care to hear them:
- Insisting those two were smurfs despite no evidence (a claim which the above poster showed was pretty clearly innacurate) and not trying to back it up (in other words: talking shit).
- bullying them ("cry more") for requesting that you get reported for a reportable offense (smurfing) even though they were 100% polite the entire game
- complaining to the point of being whiny about your poor teammates when you're playing in low elo
- complaining about doing no dmg when you're a super long rang champion, despite the fact that at least twice you basically 100-0 TWO champions with a single ult
- questioning why you were getting turret agro when you were standing easily within range (42:20)
Your gameplay is great, which is why I watch you. But your attitude isn't fun to be around, which is why I don't watch you more. Not telling you this to needlessly flame you or be hostile, just genuinely think you need some tough love on this stuff.

I was thinking it too and I hope @Xerath will take the constructive criticism, I get how you have to put edgy titles for more views etc, but don't let that become your personality. You've been doing these videos for so long, as a job, and you spend a lot of time in low elo, all of these aspects can factor in and chip away at your personality if they remain unchecked (self-reflection)
Why do you complain that the enemy is building MR when that is 100%, exactly what they should be doing in this situation? You can't complain that the enemy is making a smart decision.
It wasn't so much complaining about them getting MR, it was more irritation on the fact that he had 0 deaths and was running them over the whole game and they still managed to out scale him res wise and become practically unlikable. He basically got punished as he said in the video for actually being a good player. They were terrible players playing broken champs. That isn't how it should be...
@@StickyBeatsOfficialthose are not broken champs 💀. Did you not see how hard he poked out irelia in laning phase? Them stacking mr sacrifices other stats, I.E. armor, so they will take more damage from ad champs.
Also a lot of the comments are saying that if irelia got just as fed, she would completely 1v9. This isnt true, cause any engage from her would lead to a cc chain where she would just get one shot. As opposed to a fed xerath that can sit 2 screens away with a champ that can peel, and simply poke out their health bars.
I hate playing against irelia because even when you’re 10/0, you can’t relax, you still have to play every fight perfectly.

Top laners who get a lead on her wont let her breathe and there are a number of mid laners who, if they get a lead on her, can mess her up. Xerath just sucks in these situations thats all lol. The irelia's just lucky they had 0 functioning AD dmg for most of the game so she had the luxury of stacking MR and not being punished for it.

Zwag in case you didn’t realise in post, the reason behind 3:58 shaco walked out of the bush, and the box was invisible but just outside the bush, it will not target enemies that arent visible and in range until triggered, therefore if shaco stayed in the bush a split second longer it would have feared him.
I'm surprised at how good you actually are. I get that it is your main, and that you are smurfing, but even, 50 min game, and you survived.

Just watching him play, I would have made so many mistakes.
Like he just knows that enemies can be waiting in jungle.
Really the only thing I was a little annoyed about was the fact that he was ignoring all the infernal cinders when it could easily give great stats to the deathless xerath. He just knows threats and respects them.
Really the only thing worse would be a Zac or Evelynn jungle, or a champion like Vi whom has point and click lockdown.

being a xerath main i felt this game in my soul, i hate when i win lane hard, and get really ahead but the other team just has 200 year champions ta build mr and i get basically stuck in the hardest game of my life, feels so bad knowing that if i was playing a champ like aurora, yone or some shit like that and got 20 kills i would just hard carry the game.
The Shaco box didn't fear him because Shaco misplaced it by a millimeter and it was outside the bush, so it lost sight of Hecarim when he went into the bush and Shaco left it.

The shaco box wasnt in the bush. If the shaco box doesnt have vision it wont proc. So champions that go invisible can actually walk straight through a shaco box without it popping (like Viego).

Quit this game 2 years ago but still enjoy watching it, and its not surprising to see that Akali/irelia/qiyana will still carry even after they feed lane and run it down.

3:56 my guess at what happened is that shako misplaced the box right outside of the bush, and before it was ready to fear, the box lost vision of hecarim (the box cant fear enemies that it cant see, for example invisible enemies can walk right through without issues, see twitch and teemo in bushes for example.) so the hecarim was clear to walk through it without getting feared.

To be fair, it is easy to look good against bronze/silver players when you are smurfing several tiers below your skill level.
Been teeling my friends for years how faker champs are annoying because their items are so much better than mages and they get a lot more bang for their buck with just one item... And riot refuses to balance them because 'they require more skill to play so they get better rewards for it', and by more skill they mean you just all in your enemy and they don't get to counterplay your burst.
Also been teeling the about how annoying tanks are as they literally build one item then even the feed mages have to dedicate 5-6 rotatios of their kit to kill them even though the squishies still die to 1-2 rotations on their kits... But my top laner friend swears they're not overwhelming at all, and its fair that tanks and bruiser still have kill pressure without a single full damage item.
Meanwhile if you were to remove kill pressure from these champs to force them to build like mages and adcs are forced to, the collective tears would cause a second amazonian basin to appear somewhere on the world until it was inevitably reverted.
Watching Zwag rant at the same things I do, though infuriating for him, at least makes me feel seen, so thanks Zwag.

As a Shaco main, I can confirm that boxes can't be triggered if the champ is not in sight.
The only way I can tell if an Irelia is actually good or not is how good they are at hitting their E

At 4:00 it's actually not a glitch an annoying intended feature, shaco boxes have to be able to see the enemy champ that walks on them that's why Evelynn and other champs can just walk through them while invis. The box was outside the bush and heca was in the bush and there was no vision

He was comparing a different champion, he was saying Nasus would have 1v5d despite doing primarily 1 damage type, and also having to get much closer to do his thing
The shaco box didnt attack hecarim because the box wasnt in the bush, it was just barely outside of it. and since Hecarim WAS in the bush, the box had no vision on Hecarim and didnt fear him
They would fix xerath by just making his passive something like "Matter do energy: periodically Xerath's abilities deal %max HP bonus damage and convert that bonus damage into mana."

Xerath really needs built in Magic Pen, like 30% or needs to be updated with Max Health % dmg like all modern champs
It would break xerath in more even games. Your job in games with an actual team isn't to kill the tanks it's to get long range snipes on the back line and instantly turn it into a 5v4. In games like this I tend to go blackfire and liandrys because I know I still hit the back line like a truck and the percent health and burns are good at poking the front line before objectives. I also rush void second.
its a shame how Xerath used to be the champ that "could ignore" magic resist like ages ago and now he cant even damage them.

You have to realize poke mages have to play that much more cautiously, a simple mis-step causes your death (which most low elo players don't take into consideration). If he dies, the whole team dies. I watched through the game and I agreed with almost every single time he backed off.
I'll never understand the "I do no damage to them" when they have a 70+ mr item, but you're still half healthing them with 2 abilities. Like, you're doing tons of damage? what do you mean lol
Its the Xerath syndrome, he can 2 shot their MF from 2-3 screens away with his Ult, half their whole teams damage with 2 spells from a screen away and then complain when he can't do something any other champion can't do (When the enemy team builds mr). Love how he calls Irelia cringe for trying to kill him when he is the main threat and its cringe to build mr to counter a character that exclusively builds ability power.
He is playing in lower elo and flaming his teammates for having the skillset for their elo, his personality is overall very sad. He can dominate a very substantial area of the map but he still complains that his character is trash. Xerath is my 2st main, but I can atleast understand how oppressive and dominant he can be in lower elo, when you get to higher elo players can actually dodge skillshots.

Welcome to my world. I get a 25 stacked Mejai's and run away with the game, then everybody stacks MR and even Void Staff plus three static magic penetration items can't do anything. Magic resist is so overtuned. I've taken to giving up with it and when I see them doing it just getting a Nashor's Tooth to chip.
