I don't think anyone would disagree when I say I loved the Peacemaker show, every aspect of it, but Vig deserves a show of his own. Gun found a perfect balance of keeping him crazy and goofy, loveable, and a BAMF.

Deadpool relies on the script and story to be funny while Vigilante the actor playing him is extremely funny in performance and delivery sorry Ryan Reynolds but the whole dry delivery while making a joke was only going to get you so far

Deadpool’s whole personality is that he knows he’s a fictional character. Vig doesn’t, so he feels a lot more real because he’s taking his situation a lot more seriously.

The most amazing thing about Freddie Stroma absolutely killing it as Vigilante is that he wasn’t part of the cast until they were already filming episode 5. Chris Conrad quit and James Gunn reshot all of Vigilante’s scenes with Freddie. Massive upgrade with a lot more sociopathic comedy added.
