Vigilante is probably low key the strongest and most capable character in this show lol, consider that he spends most of this show with an injured foot, and then later having been feet away from a grenade, and still kicks so much ass
@@daniellopez8085 First I'm not talking about physically strong in terms of weight lifting, I mean like he's tough. Second those trash cans are heavy af empty so they don't get moved around by wind or vandalized, they are not built to be moved.

I thought Adrian was a fucking dork and for the most part that’s true but the scene where he takes the sniper from Chris’ hands ‘cause he couldn’t shoot Butterflies masquerading as the Senator family was so profound
I mean that and the part where he murders people for making graffiti OR SMOKING WEED and doesn't feel any remorse for killing innocent people by accident. He just embodies the concept of utilitarianism taken to the absolute extreme with no room for nuance.
somehow in this series of morally grey and deep characters this remorseless psychopath who genuinely enjoys murdering people and joking over their dead corpse is the most likable
Both were great. Basically different characters completely who just happened to have the same name. But both fitted into their respective shows perfectly.
Since they wrote him pretty much as DC’s live action Deadpool kinda, I think it be funny that I’m season 2 they unveil he has like a minor healing factor but he literally just takes little naps n heals n doesn’t remember so he doesn’t even know he has a healing factor. I think it help play into the oblivious nature of the character. Cuz there’s no way vigilante does t have a healing factor from this season 😂
I think the Deadpool comparison is OK, but seems to be based on him being zany and having similar tactical gear etc. But in this show Vig's a psychotic himbo. Deadpool isn't a himbo.
@The Rue Morgue He's a psychopath, and an excellent fighter/tactician. But smart? SOOO many jokes in the show are about how daft he is! Like him twisting his face when his mask is taken off so he won't be recognised, or how easily Adebayo recognises him when he's hiding by the dumpster, or him worrying about 'not being able to walk again' when he loses his pinkie toe. His stupidity is very very much part of his character in this show.
So there's been multiple Vigilante in the comics - the first one was a stunt motorcycle rider for a traveling circus (he's the version that showed up in the JLU cartoon, voiced by Nathan Fillion). Second one was Adrian Chase, who was a district attorney who had a psychotic episode - or possibly a supernatural encounter, and did, in fact, have what amounted to a minor supernatural healing factor.
…..this version of vigilante is a whole lot more “lol I’m random” than Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool Best example is his obsession with Goff’s favorite color
Its crazy how funny and amazing his character is, I wouldn't say he "carried" the show but man he was a big and funny part of it, so happy season 2 is coming
We should thank the DCEU for being so all over the place that led to this show. Because Man of Steel’s third act took things too far, Batman v Superman was one of the movies of all time. Because Sups was temporarily dead, Amanda Waller greenlit a batshit insane program. Because Suicide Squad sucked, Suicide Squad 2 was everything the first one falsely advertised (a good kind of weird). And because Peacemaker survived his loss to “he does the same thing I do”, we got this lovable undiagnosed sociopath
The asking questions to Goff clip and the tape/brutal murder clip were what got me to watch this show. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Vigilante is the reason I chose to watch it, because I sure as s*it wasn't going to watch it for Peacemaker, after The Suicide Squad. I love that they threw what he did to Flag in his face the way they did, a*shole deserved it. But I also enjoyed watching his character arc in the series. Can't wait for season 2 (if there is one.)
So Adrian chase is vigilante in comics (vigilante unless stated like arrow is the same). Prometheus the one we usually see in comics is a son of two hippies and a Batman villain. He is given Adrian chases identity tho in arrow and a completely different characterization.
Am I right?Vigilante is Peacemaker's counterpart sidekick/partner? It seems that Peacemaker needs justification in action before he commits it unlike Vigilante where he'll just do whatever is viable or plausible in every events.
